Making an EPIC demon harpy queen!! (Lilith from Solium Infernum)

- I'm so excited to finally show this one off! This whole project was sponsored by League of Geeks for their upcoming game Solium Infernum. Very happy with how it all turned out. Though those feathers took me FOREVER they were so worth it!
I know I skipped over a lot of elements of this cosplay- honestly I would have split this into two videos if I had filmed my processes more carefully! So it's less of a tutorial and more of a montage of chaos.
So anyhoo- massive thank you to League of Geeks of course I'm so happy to be supporting a local indie game and I'm so excited for this game- here's the link so you can go wishlist it on Steam!

Also thank you to Lumin's Workshop for providing so much of the foam for these feathers. They are local go-to for cosplay supplies- but great for anyone Australia-wide (and they ship internationally too!)

Thank you all so much for watching!
I always find it impressive how everyday people have the skill to create such costumes. I personally wish I had that much talent to make my own costumes.
Talent is only really a head start, most of it is passion, enthusiasm, and years and years of practice (but I will admit, having the time and resources to d that makes me very lucky!)
Any skill can be learned if you put in the time :)
You can do it!
to thread the fishing line through the pvc pipe, tie something to the end and use compressed air to push it? maybe? over all looks amazing!
for the fishing line in the PVC, tie the line to little a piece of towel and suck it thru with a vacuum. I've never used it for cosplay but to guide paracord thru the bent handlebar tubes so I can pull the wiring on Harley's
I am not into cosplay personally, but, you are amazing and I am definitely into what you do!...The characters you create are stunning, very realistic and love the accent too! Thank you so much for taking the time to put all this together for us and showing just how much work actually goes into doing what you do! I hope you are feeling better and the move was not too difficult. Looking forward to the next video!!
running line thru pvc: hot glue a magnetic thing to the end of the line, and pull it thru with a magnet. happy crafting.
ps: your awesome on sooo many levels.
Best of luck in everything you do.
Also the custom came out H🔥T !!
10:16 Attach a magnet to your fishing wire, then use another magnet to pull it through the pipe next time.
Just a random comment.... your hair is very very very very beautiful 😊
Woo Melbourne.
Pretty sure I remember you from back in the day at DV8, but well, wings!
hah! There's a blast from the past hey!
@@MissTwisteddd it was all, there's no way that there's anything in common between us.
Turns out you're a cosplayer, and I'm working on a cosplay.
18:01 fun fact the wood burning tool is called a piro pen
отлично все получается
"Nobody can use the same joke more then twice "
Her: winging it *x6*
I have no regrets and no shame 😅
@@MissTwisteddd>>> There is no joke that has been _run into the ground_ that *_I_* cannot _run into the ground_ EVEN MORE...🤭
A tip for the string in the pipe . When you tie a bit of fabrik to the end of ste string and stuff it into the pipe , you can use a vakuum cleaner to suck it to the end of the pipe.
There's something about cosplay that feels... magical, in my opinion - just as or even more enchanting than movie costumes. Would I be right to call cosplayers "shapeshifters"? That's what they are to me.
I hear that quite a bit honestly so I think it's pretty accurate!
A b s o l u t e l y! As a cosplayer, I definitely consider myself the closest thing to a shapeshifter this world can get.
@@cyaninkling2638 What quote would suit the occasion... ah, here's a fitting one:
"Witchcraft."
Just take a little peek into the eyes of Orin The Red and then try to tell me that lady doesn't use witchcraft - good luck.
it always weird me out a little bit to se you out of cosplay, I keep trying to figure oit what are you cosplaying as.
For getting the line through the pipes, an easy way to do it would be to tie a weight to the end of the line you're feeding through it. Just use a small bolt for some weight and tie it on, letting it getting it through
A small fishing weight might be even better!
Fantastic job on the Harpy...had a little giggle when you tried the thigh pads for the first time lol.
A little trick for getting the fishing line through the tube....tape it to a length of solid core wire (the sort you strip out from domestic wiring) and push that through the tube, I would use the non insulated earth wire.
Amazing job well done how are you i am one of your big fans
dig?
@@setsunian5283 Thank you

THE CROW QUEEN!
the wings are amazing, its the first time i ve seen some like this
usualy they are fixed
I know a larp player fully costumed in crow suit, those will be wonderfull
this - this is going to be the video I will use whenever someone asks me "what's your fascination with cosplay?"
the amount of skills you have is staggering! 👏👏👏👏👏
The Dremel technic is called….. feathering.
Is it really? That's just brilliantly appropriate 😂
@@MissTwisteddd Feathering means light sanding of surfaces performed to soften abrupt transitions.
It's so weird seeing you without owl ears or a dozen orbiting eyes....
These kinds of decisions are how 80% of Art Films get made 😂
This Chanel should be deleted
I know right?! I'm so used to seeing here in cosplay that it's weird when she's not. 😂
@@kalebspeaks3597 why?
@@VivaLaDnDLogs it's a bot that goes around to all kinds of channels and just reply with random shit to try and make people feel bad. Some edgy kid probably who thinks it's funny because they have no life or talent of their own.
@@kalebspeaks3597 lol "Chanel" yes, delete a brand
Ayyyyyy niiiiiiceee
I appreciate your struggle! This cosplay came out amazing!
THIS IS THE BEST I WISH I COULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! (Early gang ig lol)
THIS IS LITERALLY SO COOL THANK YOU
Your channel has blown up!! Very well deserved ❤
Thank you! I got lucky with some of my shorts going super-viral. I'm hoping eventually my long-form content like this will pick up too!
Awesome! I have wanted to make wings for a long time and you gave me some excellent ideas. Your content is very entertaining/informative. Thank you!
I've been so excited to see if you would do a video on this build since you first shared the photos of it weeks ago. The video is amazing. All of the techniques you have built up over the years and the new things you are constantly learning about are such fantastic resources, and you are so generous in sharing your love for creating things! And all of this particular build while moving house, being sick and preparing for the event over here. Amazing. 👏
During a busy nightshift i found time to watch your newest video❤
Amazing😮😮so different from the owl but perfect scary demonqueen❤
Oh shit, I completely forgot to watch this earlier! Good thing I got a little reminder now! It was very fun to see another long video!
Harpy legs are the only thing that's been keeping me from doing a harpy cosplay- I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the foot idea! I've scoured the internet and this one looks the least intimidating/coolest ❤
First off, great job on creating this cosplay!
I particularly like the new scleral lenses you are wearing for this. I'm curious where you purchased them from. (Yes, I'm fully aware they are regulated as medical devices, at least in the U.S.A., even possibly where you live.)
Keep up the great work!!!❤❤❤
They're actually not Scleral they just look a little bigger! But these ones are from uniqso who are a relatively reliable brand!
I see your videos and wonder how you are not working with a film company! Your work is awesome!
absolutely amazing you are awesome. please keep shareing your cosplay's.
A tip to help for future projects to get the fishing line through the pipe try tying washer that is magnetic.
Such an awesomely well done costume! Being crook, and moving (in this housing market?!), how did this not take months of your time? And FEATHERS EVERYWHERE!
Love ya work mate, hope whatever lurgy you had has gone and the new place is comfy 😊
Sadly I'm sick again with a cold that just won't leave. It's like my immune system just put out a welcome mat this year 😂 but thank you! I'm settling in well at least!
Would love a tutorial on articulated wings!
You are so good at the animal+human characters. I don't watch tutorials unless I want to do that thing. I still really like how you show off how you did it so other people can do it too. I would love to see a video on juniper lore or a video on one of your D&D sessions. Have a good rest of your day.
Googling pics of bird feet "so you can look up reference images" 👀
This is amazing! I think it came out great and you are going to create a sensation when you appear in it!
I'm doing a siren cosplay, and I am so torn between doing an articulated wing with a harness or having my arms encapsulated in the wings. Either way I'm in for a lot of feather cutting/shaping/gluing.
I'd love to hear you speak on the pros and cons of using the eva foam like you used here, vs the more flowy seeming isolon and packing foam combo used in the lute cosplay. My primary concern is that the packing foam wouldn't hold its shape enough, but I definitely need a super light material. My current though was to double up the thin packing foam with a eva foam, wooden skewer, or wire rachis/calamis for some internal structure, possibly with a thinner feather shape inside to give some of the feathers even more structure.
I love how you did the feet, and may have to reconsider my plans to make them from a pair of heeless shoes.
Amazing! So so good! Wow all those feathers!
Your costume work is fabulous, and all your cosplays are amazing @MissTwisted.
Amazing
One tip: a powerful vacuum cleaner could help to string light fishing line through curved and angled pipe. You literally suck line through pipe with it.
If this was a school project you would have gotten a absolute 100 out of 10 (Yes, i said 100 out of 10 you read that right) from your teacher dang this is so good
Add Spear. They always have a Pole Weapon. 🌘😈
Absolutely beautiful.
It's no longer known as a crotch, it is now kratch. Enjoy your new kratches everyone. I'm so sorry 🤣
THIS IS SO COOL
Pro Tip: Use a Magnet and some Metal to thread your thread thru pipes. Thank me later. :-)
Cosplay looking better than 90% of costumes in movies ...
You're very talented. Absolutely awesome how well it all comes together!
anyone here got any tips for attaching a metal pokeball tin to pvc pipe
Almost choked with how good this looked IRL. No lie was eating pizza. 😂
Love the build, you're awesome. A suggestion - I'd attach a small weight and drop the fishing line through the pipes before gluing them together.
Goddamn that's a genius idea 😂 definitely one for next time!
I honestly never knew she swears XD such a surprise
i know the struggle of making a billion little feathers, priming sanding and clipping texture into all of them AAAAA
also this is great, def gonna come back and reference your moving wings for making dame aylin later this year!
i cant wait! League of geeks has always been fun with Armello.
I hope i get to see you at PAX this weekend! :)
I'll be there! Saturday afternoon as Lilith for a few hours and Sunday I'll be around as Purah!
Try using a metal washer tied to the fishing line to thread it through the PVC. If the weight alone isn't enough to draw it through you can use a powerful magnet to assist passing it thru the PVC.
That's actually so genius honestly!!
Next time you need fishing line through pvc pipes, just tie the line to a small fishing weight and drop it into the hole and maneuver the pipe around until it comes out the other side, but great job!!!
A few people suggested that and I'm kicking myself that it never occurred to me 😂
I'm stuck fangirling bout everything o-o
you literally do the same thing I do with cutting up old clothes for patterns, and tracing good clothes onto fabric to make mockups.
WINGING IT!
I like watching talented artists creating their works of art. I admire you skill and dedication. Well done.
I saw you on a 1 For All video and you looked great!
I was looking for the Potion Seller meme video and found your owl shorts and now down the rabbit hole of your talent!
Outstanding work.
Your owl ears and similar tech is being discussed on DnD discord.
Your potion puns short is funny!
I must say, seeing your final form. You look triumphant. Truly stunning. A fantastic execution and well worth the effort! ❤
WOW!!! thats sooo cool, great work! =)
❤❤❤❤❤❤ you are beautiful and amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome job. Looks amazing. Well done
Your costumes are always amazing 😊❤
OK, @MissTwisteddd … Is that the Luggage, on the shelf, behind you … ?
Keep up the great work.. all your shorts are always so Wholesome ! never change!!!
welp... my mind is working weird ways, so your harpy made me thinking about other characters with wider hips, adding the fae vid, I kinda changed my cosplans for next year Pyrkon (biggest fantasy convention in Poland) and I'm doing Toothiana from Rise of the Guardians instead of Earthy card from Card Captor Sakura 😅
Incredible work! May I say in the least creepy way possible that if I were 25 years younger, and single, and in Australia, I would present you with flowers and chocolates, while doing a really cool cosplay- maybe Beorn from The Hobbit, or anybody else where I won't have to chop off the beard.🙂
I know it’s a long shot, but do you, or any viewers who have worked it out, know approx how long all the pieces of pipe are you used? I’m going to try and make my first articulated wings this way and that’s the part I’m stuck on x
This is just outstanding! I didn't know you could make a feather bodysuit like that!
Also, yeh, its so easy to get carried away when you get your first rub n' buf! You start looking around at projects and decor like, "hmm, i could.."🤨🤔😂😊
Awesome and very and inspirational 👏🦉🐦🕷️.
Also look up Dr John McDougall's colour picture book.
And probably never get sick again.
And pain look up Dr Brooke Goldner's 3 free gifts (gift 2)
Awesome costume 🎉😊💕
Would like to see story skits with maybe 2 or more character creations just will take a bit more planing with the editing to mesh the videos together...
🎉🥰🐦🦉💖
This so incredible and SO helpful! I'm about to attempt wings for the first time and I was so intimidated, but you explained it so well and made it seem doable. Thank you for sharing!
Its when you fully commit yourself to Aknoladging how bad Death has a Hold on you when somthing like your Nipples are different sizes. Your NOTHING you COULD Be. Its Enough to commit to the idea That this would eventually Draw womenkind and Drive them to accessive Insanity.
Hi!! I may or may not have commented before but I just wanted to say thank you so much for this. I didn’t copy this but the PBC pipe tips and backpack stuff was super useful! I managed to make articulating wings in a few days (with much help), although I modeled them as bat wings rather than bird wings so no feathers- for my ren faire dragon cosplay. (I did get called a bird a few times.. and a demon.. and a socially awkward gargoyle…)
I'll be honest, if it came between this and Juniper.... I don't know who I'd choose.
You are Absolutely Brilliant an You are Living Your Chi😈🤯🥰✌️👍🤟💯💯💯‼️‼️‼️
Hey there, so glad I found your channel today, I have binged watched so many video's already. Love the artistry you put into each character.
Holy cow that's an amazing costume, well done!
I subscribed at the end of this video, during the outro, and the chime from the outro played JUST as I clicked subscribe.
"Just winging it" I saw what you did there😉
I know im late to the party, but an electric carving knife (you know, for ham or turkey) cuts soft foam a real treat. Save your good sewing shears😊
I'm not into cosplay, but DAMN girl, from a technical view, you ROCK
Not me finding your page and videos like this and like .... o-o I can utilize all of this .... I can make my creations .... come to life!!! >D *evil cat cackle from Emperor's New Groove*
I admit, watching your videos kinda make me want to smack together some rough crappy costume myself... I don't have anything I want to be, but as a tall overweight man, the idea of padding out an hourglass figure on myself is hilarious to me.
15:05 Birb but abs? Bird abs? Babs?! TALL STRONG HARPY QUEEN BABS?! 👀
Watching the way you fished that line through the PVC on the wings, reminded me of a trick I learned for running wiring through handlebars on choppers. Next time try using a Shop-Vac to vacuum the line through the pipe. I used to do it with dental floss and then I would tie that to the wires and pull them through the bars. I think you can get where I'm coming from on this idea. Anyhow, hopefully this tip will come in handy next time.
I love Lilith she's Adams first wife you did amazing part and you making your outfit amazing ♥️
My eyes are experiencing a burning sensation, and I perceive a persistent haze that seems unrelenting. However, the benefits derived from this experience outweigh any discomfort.
Cosplay aside (it’s fantastic, obviously), your hair is awesome.
Your process of fucking around and finding out is so cool and exactly what I want to see in a creative video, it’s super inspiring for people who are afraid of going in without a plan/template.
For guiding the fishing line through the pvc pipe, maybe attach the end of the line to a metal nut and then guide it with a magnet? But other than that, HOLY CROW THIS IS COOL
Epic! The amount of work that went into those wings is insane, but it sure paid off.
Well-well. One of my most anticipated games and one of coolest cosplayer that I know. That it is a collaboration that I never thought would be real but it's what I needed. ^_^
Love the new cosplay! Now that is great work/art especially when you are sick!
Can’t wait to see more of this piece.
Glad you are feeling better!
Idea: Tie something like a nut or something similar to your string and let gravity do the work for you ( 10:11 )
