Load testing a battery that's a bit dodgy.

Using my rather old now Snap On Battery load tester to assess the battery condition - it's the battery from the current draw test video from a long time ago. I found some old footage today and figured I'd post some up. This tester has a coil at the back that's maybe 300mm of 5mm steel rod that just puts a dead short across the battery - it glows red and hot pretty quickly on a good battery. It's very good at pointing out a dud.
People sometimes bring me a battery that their tender is showing all the green lights for, but on this tester the needle just plummets to zero when the button is pressed.
