- Vintage tape-style delay smaller than a cassette player! Tape delay is loved for its warmth and charming imperfections compared to pristine digital delays. Their preamps could be pushed to saturation and, over time, the tape in vintage delay units would degrade causing a signature warble loved by many. These signature elements are captured and packed into Electro-Harmonix’s Pico Rerun tape delay. Based off the tape delay algorithm found in the Canyon Delay & Looper, the Rerun gives vintage vibes with modern features.

The Rerun features a simple control set and tap tempo for ease of use in any situation. BLEND sets the wet/dry blend. DELAY adjusts the delay time from 8ms to 3s. SAT adds tape saturation and distortion for added crunch to only the wet signal, keeping your dry signal unaffected by the added distortion. FDBK sets the level of repeats from 1 to infinite for runaway oscillation. You can also press and hold the footswitch to engage infinite repeats in an instant. The FLUTTER mode switch toggles between low, medium, and heavy modulation effects ranging from slight chorusing to seasick thickness.
Tap Tempo is simple and easy to use. Just press and release the footswitch at least two times to set the tempo and the LED will blink to confirm your tap tempo. Additionally, the Rerun also features selectable Tails bypass allowing echoes to continue after putting the pedal into bypass.

This silently and singlehandedly changed the delay pedal market. It seriously just matched the usability of expensive tape delays, at a fraction of the cost and size. Mind blown. Well done EHX.
Wow, 3 seconds? This little guy is loaded with more features than I expected. It sounds great!
Genuine question... what exactly do you do with 3000ms (3 seconds) of delay? Because anything over 900ms or so seems to be unusable as repeats go. I'm a Gilmour nerd so i only use delay in that context. Teach me!

This pedal became my favorite delay over El Capistan v2. I don't know how you did this. This saturation knob and flutter button makes me very happy. I even like tap tempo realization with click, didn't expect that. I'm not sure who needs 3 sec delay though, but it's okay :)

I’ve been planning a video about building a mini pedalboard but I haven’t been able to find mini delays or reverbs I like until now. Tape delay is my favorite sound and this thing is loaded with features! Also, that mini Oceans looks killer too.

Tiny but sounds good. Tape Delay is my go to style delay. Useful features with the footswitch, Nice. EHX making some great mini pedals so far.
How close are we to pedals built into a Eurorack with a floor controller? I really, really want something like that.

EHX, it would have been nice to have LOFI cassette player tape delay fidelity to be able to adjust how much tape hiss noises plus able to adjust how many tape slices creating drop outs to hear the tape loops like on echoplexes.
What would happen if you powered a Delay like that with a dying battery simulator 🤔

If I didn't already have the Dunlop/MXR Echo Plex I would definitely buy ..i also have the Electro Harmonix memory Toy Delay..
Can you adjust Tap Tempo subdivisions?
Yeah I have the same question. I see that they have dotted eights, which is great, but curious how you would even adjust that.
