@@LeviBulger So BOSS's clone is "based off of" but Behringer's is a "rip off"? Nice consistency. And no, adding the necessary buffers for electronic bypass and a treble and bass control does not make it original.
In defence of his very expensive pedal, there is a difference between just the pedal in the room and the pedal after you've tweaked the amp around a bit and then played it in a band with other musicians. The Behringer sounds great on it's own and is a clone of the pedal that Electric Wizard uses so probably sounds great in a band setup too, but if Oz is loving his fuzz war then great. He might buy the Tone City and the Behringer and take them to practice and find they just don't work as well. There's always trial and error in these things.

I appreciate that a channel like Andertons still makes room for doom! Is it too much to ask for an all Doom June? 🤣
The thing is: Fuzz doom shoot-out is a game that can be played for 24 hours straight, with all those pedals in an endless cycle and the "current winner" pedal will keep changing until the end as the ear just loves the change up (after hearing one sonic spectrum of frequencies and clipping for a certain amount of time). You will however know very quickly which sounds in general you like more than others. But the "keep or move on" principle will never let you settle for one pedal for more than one hour. If you're so satisfied with one sound that you don't want the sound to change at all after like 2 hours then a) you're very good in listening for nuanced high frequencies and patient while dialing them, in the first place and b) you found a pedal that probably does it for you. Although some sort of shoegaze high might kick in and you're just fixated to a sound in the moment because you like what you're just playing, while on another day you wouldn't at all prefer that pedal over others. (So maybe it's better to not be into it too much while testing.)
