Hello everyone! For some reason this video is now being seen by lots of people so a few things: - This was done out of love for the animated film - I don’t claim to be any kind of actor/dancer/performer (obviously lol) this was just a way to share my costume and push myself out of my comfort zone - This was made while I was not living in my home country so I did not have access to all necessary materials/tools to make this a perfect costume - Aware of the reasons the show didn’t go this route, I do just love seeing other and professional transforming costumes in anything else, and would love this see the musical one day Much love to everybody! 💙
Wow I’m glad it popped up on my recommendations! I think you did a stunning job! Love the glitter and crown under the hat. I really want a live action film of Don Bluth’s Anastasia!
The UA-cam algorithm has been recommending a lot of videos that are a few years old lately. Nonetheless, this is a stunning video and a stunning costume. The glitter was a very smart idea!
You don't need to apologize for anything. You did great and it showed when your audience applauded & cheered. Anyone being negative, deep down wishes they were in your place, having the experience that you had.
Honestly I still think this is a really solid transformation dress, you played into the bulky nature and the films design to make a pretty accurate version! I find a lot of transformation before modes to be distracting, but you made it make sense in this piece. Well done!
In the Broadway version, Anya is out on the street with Dmitry... and has to talk to him immediately after the song... and therefore could not have a wardrobe change like that.
This took skill, talent, coordination, and trust in yourself to do. It's beautiful and amazing to watch over and over again. You should be very very proud of yourself! Please keep creating and sharing your gift.
This was wonderful! Yes, it's obviously not "choreographed" but it's not presented that way, either. I'm ABSOLUTELY impressed by the fact that you made a successful transforming costume! It looks beautiful, and so do you! Brava!
Looked kinda like the movie, the filter was an awesome touch that really makes it. It’s hard to make dresses like this that flattering in both forms but takes so much skill to make a two in one! Keep it up, this is super inspiring. 💙
THIS IS SO GREAT. I have seen a few transforming princess dresses on youtube lately (IDK why they started recommending to me, but I'm not mad!) but this just... Anastasia is my favorite and this was so amazing to watch. I love it. You did fantastic and I am even more impressed after reading the notes regarding the creation of the gown. PHENOMENAL JOB.
This was really cute, glad UA-cam was kind to present it to me on my homepage. ♥ Good job, it takes a lot of courage, especially if (if I understand correctly) you're not a performer other than cosplaying. I'd suggest you take theater acting classes to get even more from your performance, it will be helpful to manage your movements, to grasp a better use of the space you have on stage... this will make you sooo much more confident and you'd have a very enjoyable experience by growing your performance skills! I think that every cosplayer should take acting classes, it teaches you so many useful things and opens to a deeper understanding of the characters you embrace, resulting in much more love for them!
Thank you! I'm not really trying to performing of any kind, this was purely just done for fun 2 years ago, and I don't really do cosplay anymore, so don't really need to look into classes haha But I'm sure if there's some budding actors/dancers etc out there who gave this a go, they could make it look much better, and it's a good tip for those who want to get into the cosplay world more seriously :)
I always had this idea for this costume for an on stage performance in my head but thought it would be impossible!😅 I'm happy to see you fiund a way and dazzled everyone! Edit: just got recommended a compilation video after this and found out it is called "quick costume change"... Can you tell I'm not a theater kid at all!😂😂
I love them too! Was always on my bucket list to attempt one, so glad I gave it a go ^_^ Professional ones are obviously better but I just love the concept
You know what? Considering everything (the tools, the time frame, experience, etc) I think it's pretty freaking fantastic! You achieved your goal- your costume transformed without disaster, and it worked well! I certainly don't think I could do that well in two days even with my entire craft room! Congrats, and I hope you had a great time with it!
That's so kind of you to say Thanks for the positive thoughts, I truly did it for fun and did have fun and a challenge with it, so in my books it was goal achieved haha Have a lovely day :)
To be fair that’s kind of what the movie Anastasia did too xD She wasn’t in front of a crowd she was just kinda talking to herself. So I was sucked in. Gotta remember it’s not always a cirque de solie type of thing that makes you watch.
Awesome! Glitter makes it perfect but I'm worried about the cleaning. This reminds me so much of the Nana Mizuki and TM Revolution duo concert when they did something similar to it.
Even if this was a while ago and you were under limitations, it’s still REALLY impressive and well done! Even having access to all my best gear I still can’t do anything nearly as good!! This is such a cool homage to one of my favourite scenes in one of my favourite animated films. Much kudos, it’s well deserved. 😉

Lol the UA-cam algorithm has chosen this video now, you’ll finally getting the audience you deserve!

She revealed the dress at the PERFECT TIME lining up with the music. YES! Spot-on.
💙💙✨
Well rehearsed I imagine.
Roadent1241, of course. 😃
I LOVE HOW YOU PUT THE GLITTER ✨
Lmao if it were me the glitter would go in my eye😂
@@Luna-lq1jn same lol
I love how the crowd cheered the moment you started spinning, they knew what was gonna happen and they loved it
They were a lovely supportive bunch! 💙
I love your profile picture c:
Yes finally some people remember who is princess Anastasia
She was actually a grandduchess
What do u mean by grand duchess
@@solly4505 It was the title of the tsar's children and close relatives
Ohh 😯 ok ty guys for telling me
Cause it’s been 7 years me not watching the movie so I forgot the name of it 😅
Wolfgem Playz 101 ty 😋
GIRL HAD GLITTER TOO 🤩🤩 SHE SAID I GO ALL THE WAY OR NO WAY AT ALL🤩🤩🤩 I LOVE it
✨✨✨tysm! 💙
That literally sent shivers down my spine. What a concept. Great stuff, Hannah.
Thanks Kev!
Perler Roll me too it sent me chills too
concept ? drag queens are doing this since forever
Same!!!
Same!!!!
Why can they do this on broadway?
I know! I wish they did a transforming one in the show too!
WatchThisHannah well , your costume is still nice though!
In the Broadway version, Anya is out on the street with Dmitry... and has to talk to him immediately after the song... and therefore could not have a wardrobe change like that.
If she transforms, first of all, she’s on the street, and she needs to change back again. It’s to complicated
• Purple Panda Playz • have the “ghosts” help reset the dress while she sings
I just cried a little omg! This transformation is my childhood dream and you KILLED it girl! Ugh and the glitter ✨✨✨💗
Thanks a lot! 💙💙✨✨✨
Loved the glitter added... Please teach me your ways I really want to make a transformation dress 💓💓💓
ua-cam.com/video/--lujEDCtKE/v-deo.html
Love a transforming dress. Our conventions dont allow glitter or anything of that caliber but it is definitely a nice effect
Why do they not allow it?
Clean up time between acts
WHAT!?! 00:46 That is MAGIC!
Awesome performance, Hannah!!!
Simply magical. I adore glitters that fall when you open the gown. Simply perfect.
Girl, love this! Anastasia has always been my favorite overall princess!
And she's not even Disney!
One of my favs too! 💙
@@EterPuralis she is now ! ;)
Started crying when you transformed. It was PERFECT!!!
The broadway version should've done something like this!
The way it just slowly "magically" appears from top to bottom makes it so accurate.Great job!
Thanks!
When you sat down I got CHILLS! Love how you did the movie choreography 👏🏽👏🏽❤️
Im crying a lot, is magic 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
Idk why but the crown under the hat made me giggle slightly, but the glitter was a really, really nice touch!
#surprisecrown 🎩 ✨👑
if i was there i actually would have been going crazy!

This girl is Amazing! Amazing Interpretation, Amazing transformation. I love this video 🔥❤
Thank you so much!!
just in awe with your cosplay!
Thanks Terry!
Adding the glitter was perfect 👌 the timing and it made it look tranformation in the movie 😄
Thank you so much 😀
Just saw the traveling cast of Anastasia on Broadway and I loved it! I love the concept of this for broadway! :) it’s a beautiful dress!
And from that day forward, young Anastasia, had left her mark on the stage. The glitter still shimmers to this day.
✨✨✨
I love this so much, she looks so beautiful too!!
Thank you 💙
Act but like she is so pretty and the dress fits her SO WELL!! I LOVE IT
Thanks for your kind words ^_^
@@WatchThisHannah you're welcome but like how are you so pretty if they did like an actual live action I vote you
YAAAAAS GORL GLITTER BOMB AND MAGIC AND EVERYTHING AMAZING
✨✨✨
The glitter is such a great addition! It made me ooooh 😂 great job!
✨✨✨✨💙
The hat to crown was such a power move
This is what Broadway should have done. Stunning!
Unfortunately she goes back to her first outfit after this song so it would be quite tricky!
Okay that was immaculate time to watch Anastasia
Such a great movie!
This costume is absolutely stunning!
WHOA THAT TRANSFORMATION WAS SPOT ON TO THE SCENE IN THE MOVIE GJ!!!!!!
💙💙
the GLITTER wins it for me
✨✨✨✨💙

Honestly that could’ve easily happened I was so nervous about it going wrong was basically shaking before the transformation hahaha

Fav none Disney princess song ever ....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I guess now Disney bought Fox you could argue both sides 🤔
But agree she’s a favourite either way!
