They were born in Russia, they both have amnesia, they have an attitude just like Anastasia (which we all love them them for), they have (really) cute dog(s), and they both have a supportive friend/partner who’s trying to help them through their amnesia. Tell me if I missed anything!
This feels like the animated version actually came to life ! You guys did an amazing job, from costuming to acting. You can tell everyone involved have a real love of the original material.

While disney now owns fox, fox was the ones who made the movie. Not disney (it was made by an animator who left disney though and wanted to make his own projects. Which is why its got that disney look) So fox would most likely have to be the ones to greenlit a live action. If they do though they better hire L and everyone else who worked on this lol cause this was amazing

Anastasia was my absolute favorite movie when I was a child. I am now 22 years old and to see that movie I loved as a child in a live action standard actually made me tear up at the end. Thank you so much❣
Just stumbled upon this and the details and accuracy in everything brought tears to my eyes. You all did such a wonderful job from the actors, to the costumes, to the locations. Its all so gorgeous. Disney should take a lesson from you guys on making things right. Thanks for bringing a piece of my childhood to life
That was.. down right magical. Magical in a way not even Disney could come near to. A few minutes in I forgot it wasn't as actual movie!! This is absolutely stunning from the costumes, to the acting, the scenes, and the thought put into making this blows me away. Not to mention all the other aspects (that I don't think I could fully comprehend) that no doubt had to be difficult to make something this amazing. I can't tell you how beautiful this is.

This made me cry. This used to be my absolute favourite film when I was a kid, and seeing it executed as a live-action film so perfectly made my night, you really captured the essence of the story. And also the meaning, for both Anastasia and L, made me ugly cry so hard. This was absolutely incredible, well done.

They identified the parents and three of the girls in one grave. In 2007, they found the young boy and the fourth daughter in another grave nearby. Their executions were horrific. The Bolsheviks involved were brutal fanatics because Lenin feared that regular Bolshevik soldiers were becoming too sympathetic to the royal family. Possibly to the point of assisting in an escape. The White Army (tsar supporters) were apparently getting too close to Yekaterinburg and the orders were given for their deaths. Russian leadership has stated that the horrific murders of the family, especially that of the children, is one of the darkest moments in Russian history.
