      Gotta remember that there is also the general improvement you'd make over a lifetime of dancing. A dance from before and after is 💯 going to be better if you practice as much as it seems like he does. Especially if it's like 5 years apart. I noticed the biggest difference was the switch to hip-hop.. Hip-hop tends to be a much more masculine style so it makes sense in all aspects why the improvement happens. A teenage girl dancing v to a 20-something male.. Very different capabilities.

    It just shows, always follow your heart -- whoever you feel you are, and the things you really love that make you YOU.

      @Springs_ Of_the_irish I don't know what country you live in, but in mine women are the ones doing everything in the house "traditionnaly" (it has changed a lot these last years), and before you ask yes they also have a "regular" job at the same time. So the burden society accepts to put on "men" and "women" are just really a terrible and you shouldn't base your personal health on following them. People embrassing their humanity is just the most beautiful thing... I expect exactly the same thing from anyone and I think more people than you think are like me ^^ (at least these are the ones you'll want to keep as friends or even work with)

      @nataschagestaltet9147 5 років тому +2

      No, I was nearly on the way, but in the last moment I see what was my problem.. idk but I think that the behaviour our people around us do this with us. I felt misunderstand with my feelings and get triggered from people all around me. I think it is Easter to say that somebody is trans. I think the most important thing is to check, what our soul wants. I lived like a boy til 2017 ... But I am a girl and that is correct. It's incorrect to show people ,,aw I can be everything" what is, when the first humans would be animals, or plants? What about these? Are they crazy? I think the transition is paradox with our natural being. And it's unfair, cause a dog can't say that he want to be an other being. I think in so much spaces and my opinion is, that very less people think in the future. Like 10, 100 and 1000 years. So yes.

    Bro, obviously you know this video has helped many people over the 6 years it's been up. I remember watching it when it first came out and occasionally coming back to it over the years, just hoping that one day I'd be able to be out and transition. Today, I watch this video again. I'm 20 years old now compared to the 14 year old who first watched it in awe. In the past few months I've come out as trans to the last person that was stopping me from physically transitioning and today I took my first testosterone shot. I'm sure I'll be back every now in then in the future too.
    But long story short, thank you for posting this, it is one of those videos that has gotten me through a lot over time.

Attempting to hurt or insult someone is always kind of a crumby thing to do but I don’t hold it against you personally because I was raised to think similarly. As someone who swings any and all ways, you were really hot before and after but I can really tell how much you came out of your skin after. Especially in the side by side. Your movements are more practiced but also you seem much more willing to just go for it and commit to the movements.
    overall you're a really awesome dancer. You were clearly born to be a dancer no matter what's on the outside.

      does testosterone really change the shape of your body?
      As a women he had boobs...did he got surgery or ?

    • @CassetteGlitch
      @CassetteGlitch 5 років тому +67

      @@gibby9928 Hi! I'm a trans guy currently taking testosterone, so let me answer those questions!
      Testosterone affects the say your body distributes fat (Fat will move from the hips/thighs/butt to the belly, typically) and the way you gain muscle.
      It doesn't make the breasts dissapear completely, but it can reduce the size of the chest. (Breasts are made of a lot of fat! So it moves around too after t!)
      However, in order to completely get rid of breasts, one has to undergo a surgery called mastectomy, more commonly referred to as "top surgery". Depending on the country and specifics, it can take a lot of time to get a mastectomy, so in the meantime transgender guys use what you call a "binder". A binder is like an undershirt, except it's been designed to squish the breasts strongly against the chest, flattening them quite a bit. (Think sports bra but really really efficient.)
      Obviously, the smaller the chest, the easier to bind it is.
      So here you go! Testosterone doesn't remove the chest per se, but it does help with the body shape changing. Those things can take a lot of time though, and the time needed for the changes to appear is different for everyone. Everyone has different reactions to the testosterone, and everyone needs a different dosage that you determine with your endocrinologist.
      For example, what came faster for me was the voice, which started dropping only 10 days after my first injection! However, it takes a lot of time for me to grow facial hair. On the contrary, I have a trans friend who got facial hair around the 3rd month! And his voice dropped much slower than mine.
      So it's all different, you can't really predict exactly what T will do first and how much it'll work. But it does give some amazing changes!

    This was interesting cuz I see people saying "oh he's so much more confident after the transition!" But he looks fantastic before to tbh. His fashion style stayed similar. His dance style evolved obviously but stayed true to a centeral kpop thing. To me this really shows that just because a person transitions doesn't mean they magically become someone else. No matter what gender you are, you will still be you and don't let anyone guilt you into not transitioning.
