My pen name is Cal Kasheau. Hey, I'd like to shamelessly promote my literary accomplishments while I have your attention. I have several short story titles you can get on Amazon; the links are below. Some are humorous, some reflect events in my life, and some are legends I heard of as a child in the swamps of Louisiana. They are only a dollar or two, and most are free with a Kindle unlimited membership. I hope you will take the time to read one or two and give me your honest opinion in the comments on whether or not I should continue to pursue a side gig as an author.

I am jealous of your tool box!
Hey, you can do yours that way too. You can get sheets of Kaizen foam amzn.to/3xcTTBS and cut them to the size of your too box drawers. They are made of tear out layers and are easy to work with. Get yourself the marker amzn.to/3TpKRsA and knife amzn.to/3vr3TXu then just lay out your tools, trace around them, cut out the shapes and pull out the layers you need to cradle your tools. I learned this from the aircraft mechanics that used to work on our airplanes at my former job. ua-cam.com/video/ODRdStSjMDs/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!
Those Whirlpool made dryers with the lint trap on the top are good dryers. Not bad to work on and the parts are plentiful and not too expensive.
Yes, and they still make them to this day! Thanks for watching!
I thought you had pulled a fox squirrel out of the vent hole! 😊
Lol, no but there were dead rodents in it! Thanks for watching!
Another great video. What kinda air compressor is that?? Seems kinda quiet.
That's a California Air Tools compressor. Here's a short video I made on it. ua-cam.com/users/shortsAINVJFqvsRo. Thanks for watching!
I have the same amana washer. It doesn't want to fill with water. Or it doesn't want to stop filling. Crazy washer.
Change the inlet valves. Thanks for watching!
I recently came across your channel. Really enjoy your demeanor, cleanliness and knowledge. Fix n flip Nation. Woohoo.
Thanks for watching my videos. I’m glad you enjoy them!
Where do you get that the thermometer for checking your dryers
Here is a link for one amzn.to/3TpRj2A. You can also search Grainger or McMaster-Carr. Thanks for watching!
where did the wire come from? Was it part of the element?
That, my friend is what is called an underwire. It goes in the bottom of a lady's brassiere cup! I know this on account of my Missus told me what it was the first time i saw one. You learn something every day. Thanks for watching!
How in the world would it get inside of the heating element? I knew you called it an underwire but I didn't think you were talking about a bra Oh well ,learned something new@@HarperandKnowles
It had to have been in a load of clothes and worked its way through the vent holes to fall onto the element coils.
A few years ago the drain pump on my Whirlpool washer was jammed so I took it out and brought it into the appliance parts store. The guy at the desk pulled one of those underwires out of the pump and we didn't know what it was, until a female associate enlightened us.
I been married for 34 years and only learned about them when my wife told me what it was when I saw one in the trash and asked about it.
Hi Chip, while putting a thermometer on the exhaust of a friend's older kenmore dryer I notice it gets up to 150 F then go back down to 125 F then back up to 150 F and so on. is this normal?
Yeah, that's probably correct. The cycle thermostat is calibrated to click off at 155 and then back on about 25 degrees cooler. Your thermometer may not be calibrated correctly or the thermostat may differ a bit. Thanks for watching!
@@HarperandKnowles you are the best! thx for info.
Hi i just replaced a gearcase on a maytag top load washer the problem i have is that it doesnt spin it never stops draining it sounds like it's on neutral drain ot is a new gearcase can you help me with this thanks in advance
What model washer is it???
Model is MVWC300VW0
I'm thinking it could be a defective gearcase hopefully I can return it
Did you replace the clutch? Maybe the brake cam isn't engaging with the clutch. Or the motor coupling is missing. several things could be wrong other than the gearbox. It sounds like you're getting no power transfer to the gear case.
I see the clutch spinning and hear the pump running like it's on neutral drain, but doesn't stop to go into the spin mode
