What I'm am about to say is not an exaggeration. Coming from someone who has a library of cooking books, most notably of Gordon, i can say this with complete accuracy and truth. I have tried exactly 16 recipes of Natasha's from both this channel and her website, and each one was incredible. I've never come across one cook/chef who has batted 1000 where every recipe was a hit. God bless you for all you and your family have given us. And God bless your mom for teaching you!! Thank you so very much!
Natasha has bailed me out more then once. Her recipes literally are the best and I can make them. I’m so happy I came across her channel! What a life saver. Brilliant and it works for everyone even me because I wasn’t able to cook much before but now I can. Thank you Natasha! My family and I love your recipes!
I love the way you explain the recipes, it’s not boring and enough information to know how to make the meal. I would love to see you make a meatball recipe that I make. I always get good comments on the recipe. I feel like you should make a video of that so more people could enjoy that recipe.
Natasha I love the way you tell us the amount of your ingredients. For a beginner this is so helpful and my friends actually think I've been cooking for years
I dont usually comment but I thought i would write to those who want to try this without the wine. I made it last night and eveyone loved it. I didn't add the wine as i didnt have any. i fried everything in the pan as Natasha did (apart from the carrots) but then i added everything to my slow cooker and let it cook overnight for maybe a total of 10 hours. It turned out so lovely and added more seasoning before seasoning (to taste). Thank you for this recipe. I Will try more of your recipes Natasha. God bless.
thanks It was the first time I had cooked the stew ... The result was wonderful I used lamb fat instead of bacon .. and fresh grape juice instead of wine because I am a Muslim Anyway it was a great experience, my family and I experimented with different dishes from around the world and this was one of the best.
This recipe is by far and away the best stew recipe I have ever made. The broth flavor is outstanding. Kudos to Natasha for developing this recipe. Thank you!
Great recipe again Natasha. Made it for the family tonight. They asked for egg noodles, I said “no, baguette because that’s what Natasha recommended”. Frankly i agree with you. I think a fresh sliced baguette / French bread is delicious. I loved how this recipe used “whole quantities” of everything. Meaning, nothing was left over (except the tomato paste). Ie the beef broth package is almost exactly four cups. I can’t remember how many times I buy a beef or chicken broth, because a recipe calls for it, and inevitability have half the container left over, which then ends up staying in the fridge for a long time and goes bad. Thanks again Natasha.
I love Natasha's kitchen very simple and no fuss cause I'm a chef and know its like to make things easy. Anyone can make things hard for themselves and most people do.
@@Natashaskitchen can I just make this on stove top or does it have to be in a deutch oven because I don't have nor is my pot oven safe. I'm dying to make this but wanted to check
I made this tonight and my husband had 2 bowls and still digging the spoon in the pot right after that. It smells so good and taste amazing. The texture of potatoes and carrots are perfect since it cooked in the oven not stoves. And It looks like stew from magazines. Thank you for recipes 😊
Such a breath of fresh air you are. Your videos are quick and to the point for people who know how to cook. Plus you are a natural in front of the camera.
Just made this again with a twist. Everything the same only white wine, lots of chicken stock to make room, and cut up turkey breast (chicken would have been better) we had leftover. Also, more mushrooms and frozen peas and carrots. Extra light on the thyme this time. I used those mini heirloom potatoes. 2/3 into cooking, I dropped in some dumpling dough balls. I wish I could post a picture! FREAKING GOOD!!! Mrs. Jonstigator was very impressed! Merry Christmas everybody!
I never had a bad recipe from you. Always simple, easy and delicious. I make recipes that you offer for my wife, because she works very hard all day and when she comes home she wants her dinner on the table. And everything I made for her she loves all thanks to you..... Darn you're amazing.

Hi Michelle! Just in case you are not aware... The alcohol evaporates completely during the cooking process, making this dish perfectly fine for kids. Happy cooking!
I made this today and have to say it was absolutely delicious!! Rich and with such depth of favor. My husband and brother in law loved it. Thanks so much. I’ve tried so many of your recipes and all were delicious!! Quick question the recipe calls for 1/2 teasp of thyme and on your blog it calls for 1 teasp. I made it with 1/2 t and it was perfect but now wondering if I should have used the other 1/2 teasp? Thank you
This is such a wonderful recipe. Here I am making it at 2am. I watch the video every time and cook along with you. When I’m done I just can’t get over the fact that I made it! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I have made it several times and it is perfect every time.
We all love Ms. Natasha. Not only does she have a great personality, but her recipes are cosmic. She is a cosmonaut. Ask: Using prime or choice steak rather than a somewhat grainy chuck roast is OK. (texture). Chuck works, but it never tastes that good when done. If I use authentic steaks for this recipe, will it work? Also, I add beef broth but also read Italian tomato paste and a little puree to make the beef brother something other than blah. I like to use the slow cooker because I have little time. I do the Maison plas first, then combine.
Beef stew in oven, aroma is lovely, potatoes not quite done, will turn oven temperature down & allow to cook longer, making biscuits to accompany stew, looking 4ward to another favorite family meal I especially like feeding my loved ones non-processed food!! So earlier today I was perusing through a Costco Connection magazine and there was a recipe for beef stew. Pic looked good, recipe sounds good. At the end, it says "courtesy of Natasha Kravchuk" and then lists your website. ❤️ Making this tomorrow. 🙂

I have made this recipe with lamb and venison, and my friends tell me it's the best thing they've ever eaten! My friend even compared it to the soup he ate in Hungary (cooked by old ladies). People think I can cook just because I can make this soup. Thanks so much for the endless joy this brings me!
I enjoy her recipes so much. I've made the beef stew and chicken chili. Wow! I hit it out out of the park! Thanks Natasha, you have a subscriber for life!! Oh and it all started with her chicken patties! Yummy 😋
Hi Natasha! I bought my mom a Dutch oven as an early Mother’s Day gift and she made a batch of your beef stew. It was fantastic! Thanks for the recipes!
Love it! But I would have sauteed the veggies in the dutch oven pot before adding the wine. A good way to avoid extra dishes, plus the veggies will pick up those left over flavors at the bottom of the pot.
I love everything I have tried that you have a video on, and I love it. I also wanted to extend my best wishes for your home country. May they remain FREE!
Made this for dinner yesterday and it was delicious! Meat was so tender and the stew was full of flavor. It was perfect comfort food for these cold winter nights. Adding this to the rotation. 😊
Just made this ... kept it exactly to the recipe as shown .. WOW. I had no idea stew could be this outstanding. Soooooo rich and savory. I couldn't find the wine you suggested so I went with a $7 bottle of Menage A Trios which is ubiquitous and it turned out fantastic. I love how its slightly more soupy than stew-y (hah tech terms) I plan to save off some of the sauce to use as Au Jus. Wife seems to think she can pull this off in a crock pot but I'm very dubious. I have a rule that I always make the recipe as is the first time. But I'm going to enjoy adulterating this. Starting with skipping the bacon. This is so damn good I think the bacon is a distraction rather than a contribution. Thanks you very much for sharing this recipe. Oustanding!
First I have to say I have been needing some new soup recipes. I love soup in cold weather. I made this stew for the second time today. My wife is ill and has to have the most tender foods. The way these vegetable are prepared makes the so tender you can almost suck them through a straw and the stew broth is thick and rich. I have one of her stew /soup recipes I haven't made yet, I will make that soon and I already, after trying Natasha's recipes have no doubt the clam chowder will be great
This would have come in handy this past weekend while we got 24 inches of snow. Sitting in front of the TV watching the football games and eating this would have been just perfect!

I must admit I thought about this recipe many times this summer. It turned cold here in Ohio a few weeks ago, perfect weather for this recipe. The smell in the kitchen, the crunch of the bread, the taste of this recipe. Worth the wait!
Made this stew tonight. I can tell you the house smells amazing, home cooking is a great thing. I have made it for dinner tomorrow. It is a little time consuming, if you can get your ingredients and prep early i think it would be easier. I was thinking or hoping for this to be dinner tonight. BUT…. @@charlesbell8299 Chuck roast it is, thank you! Many cooks have told me you really don't know what you're getting with 'stew meat'. Oh i am for sure making your shrimp alfredo for family asap😀 The salmon broccoli sheet pan dinner was a HUDGE hit👏Thanks for responding Natasha, keep up the good work!
I must admit I thought about this recipe many times this summer. It turned cold here in Ohio a few weeks ago, perfect weather for this recipe. The smell in the kitchen, the crunch of the bread, the taste of this recipe. Worth the wait!
Aaah I can imagine! Enjoy it ❤️
Natasha, you are super cute and such a wonderful chef!
You're so nice! Thank you Kimberly!

Made this stew tonight. I can tell you the house smells amazing, home cooking is a great thing. I have made it for dinner tomorrow. It is a little time consuming, if you can get your ingredients and prep early i think it would be easier. I was thinking or hoping for this to be dinner tonight. BUT…. Just think how good it will taste after it has sat overnight. Thank you Natasha for a new family favourite.
Thanks for sharing that with us. We would also love to know how it turned out 😊
You are awesome hate a happy week end
Thank you! You also!

Thank you so much!
YUUUUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!
I hope you get to get to make it soon!
Made this last night . Best Beef stew I ever had. Two cups of red wine was the key I think. Thanks!
Very nice! You’re most welcome ❤️
I feel like you don't use enough spices/herbs in your dishes. I've tried 2 of them and salt and pepper as the only seasonings didn't cut it
Umm, you do know you can make this without three separate cooking processes right?? Also whats with the altered shot of the end result???
She’s maximizing the flavors of every ingredient. Of course you can make a lame, one-pot version. She just chose not to. She chose a superior method.
I love your energy throughout the video. I’m going to try this out. Thank you for these recipes and hard work.
You’re welcome! I hope you love this and all the recipes that you will try.
I love your voice
Thank you!
