I love how not only are you showing us how to make this dish, you’re so educational as you go. Love it! I learned a lot from this 1 video!
Oh I just realized that’s what your channels about! Followed :)
I made this on Christmas day. I followed your directions exactly and it turned out great! Definitely the best beef stew I've ever had. Thanks!
Yay! Great to hear!
I printed this recipe. Thanks for including all of the details plus the metric measurements as well. Very well presented. Thanks also for taking the time to do this. Appreciated!
Thanks for taking the time to do this? Your joking right? U Tube is a business platform. They do it for viewership….and your the income. I sometimes laugh when comments like this are made towards the channel owner.
Great recipe. Thanks! Your directions are very clear and precise. I like that!
I made beef casserole today using this recipe and it resulted in the best beef casserole/stew that I have ever tasted. A really top notch recipe that was easy to follow and unforgettable to eat. Thank you for making the video.
I made this wonderful recipe (with some minor revisions). This was incredibly delicious!! Something about that balsamic vinegar, soy sauce (I used lite) and tomato paste and subbed wine for cranberry/poma , and all the other spices really make this recipe amazingly flavorful! I really appreciate Jessica for listing the ingredients for this dish, made UT easy when shop
Ing! My whole house smelled wonderful! Thanks Jessica!
You're welcome! I loved that you added cranberry juice instead of wine. Sounds delicious!
That looks AMAZING! I can't wait to try it. Your video's always help's me with my cook's.
I'm so happy to help you in the kitchen!
Thanks for the recipe you shared. I really loved it.
I made this yesterday to go with some left over rice. I changed the cooking style a bit. I did everything on an iron pot over the stove, then I put it in the slow cooker to soften the meat. I used regular celery instead of celery sticks. I also added one tomato. I used Spanish thyme, not fine leaf thyme. I used kurbani beef cut into small pieces. The beef didn’t sear, it more steamed, maybe because it was a bit wet still. I didn’t separate the beef from the vegetables as I wanted to maximize the cooking time of the beef. I used half of a red onion. I don’t have a Dutch oven. I followed everything else in your recipe. It came out marvelous and went so well with the rice. Thank you so much for doing this video. It was worth it.
So glad it came out great for you! Thank you for trying the recipe!
Wow! I just finish eating this with my wife, and son, and boy it was fantastic. Really loved it. Thank you.
Good to hear!! 😊
Bloody lovely! Can't wait to try it. Your explanations are more helpful than most sites, particularly when you offer alternatives. Thank you very much.

Sorry. Have I offended?
I finally got around to making this and it came out superb! My wife said it is the best beef stew she’s ever had. 👏👏👏🎉
Fantastic!
Very good instructions! Great job!😊😊😊
Glad you liked it!
Oh boy!! I can't wait for my first cold fall weekend to make this stew!!
I made this recipe for dinner today, and oh my, it is divine. I made it on the stove top, using a really cheap quality stainless steel pot (my kitchen utilities are limited!). It still came out amazing - I just had to make sure to leave it on extremely low heat for the final hour or so and stir every 20 minutes as you advised. Also, I didn't have beef stock so I used water with added seasoning instead. I add a pinch of cumin to my water, which makes it taste stock-y. We had two huge servings each, and are having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Thank you for this recipe.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 😀
@@JessicaGavin hi Jessica, what should be the temperature in the oven when you do the slow cooking of this beef stew for 60 to 90 minutes in Celsius.
I made mine in a cave with a rock and a stick, still tasted am-Azing-uh 🥰

That''s a beautiful piece of chuck you have. Good luck in finding something that good in most supermarkets' meat departments. The end result after cooking is tough and chewy, no matter how marbled the cut is. Good job on your presentation.
Thanks!
Really like this recipe!
Thank you! 😊
Awesome! Thanks Jessica!
Thanks for watching Bruce! 🙏
Looks good do u have to use celery
Beef chuck USED to be inexpensive, lol. Really good looking stew. I just made this dish a few days ago. I use Worcestershire instead of soy sauce. I really liked your video, very cheery and informative.

I can't believe we need a video on how to make beef stew.
Hello! I made the recepie and was fabulous I love it! One little addvice, It would be useful to put all the ingredients in grams, for poeple like me who lives în Europa.😃😘
Yum
I love a good beef stew and I like to try new ideas for making a big batch. The balsamic vinegar sounds great, I will try that in my next batch. Have you any thoughts on cooking chicken with vinegar? I read something about it recently. I enjoyed your relaxing presentation!! Much thanks for sharing.
Yes, I have cooked chicken with balsamic vinegar. A small amount adds flavor and helps to tenderize the chicken.
Lovely
My professor brought me here to take an observation and answer quiz later 😂😂
By the way, I will try to cook like that soon.
You're A delight, I'm ready to go. I'm starving!!
There is only one thing missing. " dumplings " my mum, ex armed forces cook used to do a big pot that used to last 3 days.
Looks good
Add cornbread 😋
The flour you add ...is it plain flour or corn flour ?? Does it thicken the sauce ?
In UK we use plain flour , and yes it does thicken the stew
I prefer oxtails over beef chunks. Thanks
How much is one cup, I'am talking about one cup of wine? I am from Europe and don't know standarts in USA :) Great recipe by the way!!!
Great voice !
yummy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So good!
Great presentation! It takes a lot of preparation to get your script down pat!
Thank you! 😊
@@JessicaGavin It was my pleasure.
