He's an old-school Brummie. Generally very modest, and often considered the friendliest people in the UK. That doesn't mean he doesn't think he's more than competent. He just believes, if he can do it, there are probably (rather than possibly) others doing it or capable of doing it, too. He seems to just want customers to give him the time to do the job properly and get everything right rather than push him time-wise and he's happy, even if he doesn't end up getting full compensation for all the hours he puts in. He clearly loves what he does and doing it right. But he's done so many conversions that he also clearly beieves that pretty much everything is possible and problems exist for solutions to be found. It is amazing.

Always loved these type of conversions since seeing a Porsche 924 with a Rover V8 in Car and car conversions magazine 30+ years ago. The US company that does the kits is Renegade Hybrids and although they sell it as a kit that can be done a home, watching the video's of people converting theirs it is a LOT of work, proving i'm not up to it and with insufficient funds to pay someone to do it for me.. The conversion in this video by Dyno Torque looks as good as it gets. Fantastic engineering.
