My 2011 candy burnt orange 650R came with stock handlebars which are similar to dirt bike handlebars. Whoever you bought your bike from probably put sport bars on it. I bet you you would reallllllyyyyyy prefer a stock higher and more neutral upright handlebar. It makes a huge difference in comfort.
So when I had bought it the previous owner had a higher than stock bar. I took that off in favor of the sport bars. It has made it feel more aggressive however as you and I both saw after some time it does cause fatigue. I would consider swapping those our however Im not looking to do anything else to it besides general upkeep.
Freedom Moto Project gotcha man. Well I like the stock 650R ones way better than my ninja 300s which were short/lowww and angled bent or sport bar like.
Too expensive. I just bought a 2011 with 25,000 miles for 2600 in great condition. Just be patient and you’ll catch the right deal. I was hunting for about 3 months before I pulled the trigger on my bike and I love it!
