We need a constitutional amendment limiting the census to US citizens only and requiring photo ID to vote.
that is brilliant, sent it to citizens only. you already know who citizens are bec, one has to have proper id, mail it out.with a yes or no response.
Photo IDs are unconstitutional and racist
they should still count non citizens to accurately show how many people are in the country, however only citizens should count for congressional apportionment.
@@poalima6527 OK. They can count them as long as they are listed as non-citizens and ZERO federal money is allocated to states/municipalities based on their presence and they are not counted in apportioning Congressional seats.

If they allow illegal immigrants the right to vote then I, along with 13 million other permanent residents who are here legally, will demand the right to vote and tip the scales back. We came here legally and we've been paying taxes but have never been given the right to vote!

Elon musk was saying this in his Don Lemon interview. I agree this shouldn’t be allowed. The census counts both and should only count citizens when determining # of representatives.
Americans should take priority over foreign influences in the United States. Census should reflect the foreigner in each state by adding the question to census. I believe in United States and so be truthful so unto states government can be represented properly and ruled accordingly to laws of this nation.

There has always been non- citizens counted in census taking. The status of resident alien is well documented. Just because someone is not a citizen, does not mean they are not in this country legally.

non-citizens pay the same taxes (sometimes more) and use infrastructure and most services just like citizens. they should be included in the census. besides, what the gop is trying to do is unconstitutional
Not all noncitizens pay taxes, but they do get taxpayer funded benefits. And the Constitution clearly addresses rights of CITIZENS to vote. Says nothing about granting voting rights to noncitizens or illegals. Dems are trying to bastardize our Constitution.
