By presenting none of the context before or after the senator is being disingenuous. how is correcting that he does in fact agree with them which may be in part or in full, but that they are not his own tweets when someone claimed to have been quoting them directly being a scumbag? In academia that is the difference between plagiarism and advocacy, but I certainly wouldn’t expect anyone who doesn’t know the difference between a tweet and a retweet to think that matters.

From an American whose Power bill has jumped WELL OVER 100 per month, and that after having a Beand new 'power efficient ' HVAC unit installed, DOING AWAY with my Clothes Dryer and hanging our clothes to cut coat, Stopped using the Dishwasher, bought a "Energy Efficient" fridge, lowered the wattage of our light bulbs, using bulbs FROM THE POWER COMPANY that is SUPPOSED to save money, keeping the thermostat on the recommended numbers, using my fireplace to avoid so much use of heat and its STILL well over 300 a month, last excuse from the Duke Power, it was due to the "weather" .. kicker, we haad the mildest winter in MANY years, to the point my heat wasnt needed ... No snow, no storms, but the WEATHER caused higher prices. Simple Facts!

I live in central NY and our national greed bill is $400 a month on the budget!!!! It went up $30 from last month and our furnace is off and no ac on.. livi g in nys is hell. My husband makes absolutely amazing money but gets raked over the coals with taxes. Brings home less then half his weekly gross. Next week the plan of action to move is put into action

I agree on the electricity. I moved from a large 2 bedroom apartment, bill was $50-75/mo. Now live in a dinky 2 bdrm where the livingroom, kitchen are all one room and my bill is now $250-300/mo. If they were told what they were going to be asked they could hide / change the data and spin a narrative.

When you consider the infinite permutations the data might be required it becomes almost impossible to have the exact one they want immediately.
Put another way, a 14 digit password composed of unique characters both upper and lower case, numbers and symbols would take a hacker ~ 1 million years to hack.
That's only 14 individual bits of data.
I would assume some of the data these guys have to look at is pages long, sure they aren't trying to hack it but putting it in a readable format for every single permutation of question, it's not going to happen quickly, it's definitely not going to be possible on the spot.
I'm sure I could ask you questions about the stats in your job and you would struggle to answer directly immediately.

They think they're so smart when they're asked questions, but they're really are not, they're just going around about the question !!!
Its funny how they can NEVER answer questions that contradict their words, or show them in a negative light. Despite it being data they would clearly be aware of and absolutely SHOULD be since its their job, they specifically cannot answer those questions, but can speak very eloquently and in great depth on absolutely every other aspect of their job. Especially the data that does them no harm and may even be self congratulatory. "I don't know that data" "I'm not aware of that, but I'll be happy to get back to you when I'm not on camera".
Given this much leeway, there is little to absolutely no point in these hearings.

I agree. And he’s often able to show tolerance and understanding, he asks pointed questions, but he doesn’t really attack people for the sake of it, but for truth.
