Furthermore our resources should be going to our citizens. Spending billions for non citizens is not properly allocating those services. She’s also not even talking about those services. She's advocating for there to be a question on the Census form asking if the person is a US citizen or not. And for those that answer no, their presence here in the country to not have an effect on the number of congressional seats and electoral votes appointed to a state. As far is Constitutionality goes, this is right in line with the spirit of the Constitution. People that are here illegally cannot legally vote, therefore should not have representation in congress.

Senators (100) voted into the Senate portion of Congress receive a 6 Years term unless they Die in Office! Huh? One third of Senate seats are selected every 2 Years. PROBLEM is NO TERM LIMITS!
House Representatives (435) are a 2 Year term.

If you look at a census form it records a number of different things such as their age, where they were born, the birthplace of their parents. So why not record if they're US citizens or not? You know, so we know how to best represent our citizens.

So, I am a landlord in a small town in a midwestern state. I received a letter in the mail this week from a non-profit group that is "reaching out to local property owners to provide suitable and affordable housing options to refugees". This non-profit center will also offer language classes, job placement assistance, cultural orientation, and general support to successfully integrate these refugees into your local community. They will also do everything I need to ensure I receive the rental payments for housing these refugees. The org will not tell me anything about the origin of these 'refugees", but I find it really odd that they are looking to place them in a very small, middle of nowhere town that really has no appeal for a non-citizen to move there. Things that make you go "Hmmmmm..."
I'm from a small town in central Illinois and they have been doing this for a while now. Offering small rural towns money and incentives to take illegals that showed up in Chicago and have no where to go

Sounds like the 3/5 Compromise with extra steps.
3/5 compromise was a good thing for slaves. It gave less political power to their oppressors. The slave owners wanted to call their slaves "property" but then turn around and call them "people" when it came to seats apportionment. Counting every slave wouldn't have given the enslaved people more representation, but would have given the slave OWNERS more representation. The anti-slavery folks wanted no slaves counted in that representation, while the slave-owning plantation barons wanted all slaves counted. That would have given them massive power in the House and electoral college. There was a stalemate in ratifying the Constitution, and that's how the 3/5 thing was born. Modern Democrats keep pointing to the 3/5 as demeaning of the person-hood of enslaved people, but it was done to keep the slave states from having too much power. It helped end slavery.

So if GOP is worried that illegal immigrants are rebalancing representation (because of shifting census), why are states like Texas shipping them to states like NY? If this was truly the issue, Texas would be salivating at having more representation, especially since its Hispanic population is leaning more conservative. You can't have it both ways.
Voting rights are restricted to only citizens over the age of 18, with further restrictions varying by state. Immigrants can't vote for congress until they become citizens through the naturalisation process. The size of congressional districts is based on the total population in the area, not only that part of the population that can vote.
Finally some one talks about the real numbers. 22m is around what’s come though counting got aways
