While Israel has been protesting against Netanyahu prior to the the terrible attack on October 7th. For his far right radical government has been charged with corruption. They are also accused of taking more powers for him and restricting the Israeli people. They have counted to protest how October 7 happened and little or no response for hours and hours. They are also protesting his lack of open investigations and open evidences and false accusations. They are also protesting his lack of putting the hostages and their loved ones first. They are also protesting like the U.S. his handling of the Israeli response of attacking innocent citizens like they were for 7 months. Killing, starving, destroying the homes, schools hospitals etc. to attack mostly woman and children. Along with no transparency the IDF shooting 3 escaped hostages who had hand written message on the wall outside in Hebrew of their situation. Bare chested and hands up pleading with the IDF in Hebrew??

Israel is a nation that has been referred to by Israelis as a Jewish state, despite the fact that there're millions of Palestinians (mainly Muslim and Christian) who live within its boarders, and have lived there over 1000 years, long before modern Israel was formed in 1948. The State of Israel receives literally tons of weapons from the U.S., costing U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars. If they use those weapons to commit war crimes against dispossessed Palestinians (such as ethnic cleansing) it isn't anti-semitic to criticize, or protest against Israel's actions. The vast majority protests don't arise due to antisemitism. The protests arise from those horrified by the enormous number of children, women, and men who had nothing to do with October 7th being killed. It's a human being thing, that has to do with respect for human life, irrespective of religion. Under the circumstances to equate criticizing Israel with antisemitism is nothing but a manipulative attempt to get people to look the other way, while war crimes are being committed.
And don't deny it. These types of protests always claim peace. However Jewish students are being threatened and not having free movement. Where these protests occur in cities, attacks have occurred. This is moving just as the Holocaust started. Israel has the right to defend itself. Just as we do.

Tim Scott, like most American politicians, keep addressing the result of Israeli policies and actions, not the policies and actions themselves. I agree that it is frustrating to see justice being denied to Palestinians under the misused label of Anti-Semitism. Using the label, not to reduce hate, but to reduce debate, protests, and disagreement regarding Israeli policies and actions towards the Palestinians AND our support of those policies. It is ridiculous how the word anti-Semitism can be twisted into the silliness coming out of Tim Scott’s mouth. I must stand for justice, not for expanding labels to ridiculous levels where it is ok to criticize the acts of our own government, but not that of Israel. AIPAC has done very well in making this about anti-Semitism and not about the crimes of Israel for the last 75 years. I feel sorry for the Palestinians who are being slaughtered by Israel.
