Baffled about how at&t said it's not a device from them when they literally slapped their logo on the back lol
You realize that you can transfer phone carriers after its paid off, right?
@@TheLongDon they were still the ones locking the sim. So, it’s their responsibility to unlock it.
Just because their att apps are on the phone doesn't mean it's their phone someone most likely had put the phone on their network i know because my tmobile samsung Galaxy Note 8 can be used with GSM carriers and CDMA carriers when i used the phone with Verizon everything switched to Verizon the boot up slash screen and the Verizon apps were downloaded when dropped Verizon and went back to tmobile and my tmobile sim card in the note 8 everything went back to tmobile just put a sim card in the phone

Same here in my country you cant just buy i iPhones let’s say from the us and expect it to work here . They once did some kind of report on the tv explaining that this is done so they stop black marketing . Its like the serial number on the iPhone that enters the contry somehow should be registered in the government or else it you cant use local sim card
Well I’m in Germany. Hallo!

@@realcartoongirl how about "no network locking period"?
Hugh just a tip, if you flash unlocked firmware/rom on any android phone it changes the "Locked state" of the region.
I think you can de-solder the NAND chip on the iCloud Locked devices and flash them with a blank image, re-ball the NAND and then re-attach it to the main logic board PCB of the phone.
But, if you're doing all of that then it is probably worth mentioning that you can upgrade the NAND storage capacity to a larger size and have "unofficial" capacity sizes, like a 512GB iPhone 5S
He's not that skilled
The CPU doesn’t have the decryption key for a NAND other than the one that it came with.

Hey Hugh, been a watcher of your videos for a while and I enjoy the content there is something oddly satisfying about watching you fix broken tech so please keep it coming. Anyway the main reason I am commenting is I have 2 broken iPod touch 6th generations in practically brand new condition however they both are suffering from a completely wrecked battery in the sense that If you charge them to 100% and remove the cable they drop down to almost flat in seconds and then when you replace the power cable they jump back up to almost full again - I would love to send these over to you (will cover shipping costs also) for you to do a video on fixing them and give them a loving home! Please let me know if you are interested. Gary
i would be able to do the battery repair and record it xD
HAHAHA love it! It's so interesting to see phones that I know I can never have because I'm broke

Welcome to another Huge Effry’s video. 🤙
Most of those can be unlocked relatively easily with a quick search on eBay, some unlocks can go as low as $1, $14, $50, $70, just dig around. The cheaper ones you may have to wait a bit longer. I used to buy iPhone lots while I was doing my undergrad. Great value
Quite sure HE KNOWS that but it’s illegal to remove iCloud locks like that, so he won’t advertise it. Carrier locks are illegal after 2 years so removing them is a legit thing to do

Verizon does not lock their phones unless they are prepaid and even then only for a year. The newest phones on Verizon are locked for 3 months of active service. So it is likely just a google locked S9+.
