@@Getrektscrub69 You can almost get into first with zero input on the accelerator with 1st gear. 2nd is more likely a regular setup where you need to feather the accelerator pedal a little as you let the clutch out. You can give it before if its easier, but its a light touch. I find the grabbing point for my 7.3 ZF5 is really close to the floor. The pedal feels like its about halfway, but if i listen and feel the actual truck, in engages closer to the floor. I've been using first just to be easy on my clutch. i plan on buying a long bed 4-door obs with an auto as a tow rig. I love manual in diesel trucks but i would rather have a auto as a daily and as a tow rig. Loved the video tho, that truck is awesome and sounds amazing dude.

Import a 5.9 cummins 6BT used, they last forever and are cheap. They will fit in almost any truck ford, GM, or dodge made. Also they work well in small lorrys.

You could release a new video like this one every week and I'd watch it on my big screen like this one. Just kill the dome light and put something on the seat to kill the rattle ;) Awesome rig!
4.10 gears, great for pulling, that's about it. At 2700rpm I'm cruising 90-95 with 3.55s and 305/70/16 tire wheel setup lol. still never use 1st, 3rd I have to double clutch cause the synchro is gone.
I have a question. I want to get more into trucks and I want a manual 7.3. I’ve seen some that are 5 speed and some that are 5 but have an extra thing labeled “L” (low) on the shifter. What is that for and what does that mean for the truck?
ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! That's a bunch of crap. Mines a 97 F350 XLT, PSD, crew cab, LWB, long bed, and dually and this is the garbage i get? You lucky son of a gun!!
Haha! I have the front bench seat with the flip down center console so I guess thats cool. I really want that black interior though! I'm jealous. She sounds good too!
Awesome truck can you make a video on how to shift sooo smothly youre a fucking badass at shifting am 17 and well my shifting is ok but yours is top charts man !!!!
Hey just wondering but I’m getting same exact truck next week and I was wondering what all mods you put on the truck and if you know your mpg... I know it won’t be good just wondering
its 11pm i smoked some pot and now im watching some guy drive around the block for 5mins wtf
Its exactly 11:01 when i read this. Stoned as well x) ha
hahaha!!!
Same man same
I'm bad off. I got pot in the drawer and I'm sober watching some guy drive around the block lol
MONEYBAGS603 me to 😭
Thanks for the Lyft man! 5 stars! I’ll leave u a tip on the app
these older 7.3 are my dream trucks. look and sound is all i care about. god damn no matter the exhaust these 7.3s sound amazing

my smooth ass shifts!(; lol
akajeremy dude I was thinking the same thing now I want a manual 7.3 lol
i can agree that the shifts was smooth af
Ikr
Powerstroke. That's why. Put this on repeat and go to sleep with headphones in.
Music to fall asleep to... This reminds me of sleeping across the rear bench seat of my grandpa's truck on a roadtrip
Love the manual 7.3s
manual the best
I recently just got a 95 7.3 Manuel dulley and it's by far the best truck I've owned!
Kyle Matlock you can’t spell worth a shit.
Rumblebee Games/news 😂😂😂
Manuel check ✔️
That turbo makes up for the squealing breaks lol
Man.. truck takes you back to another time. Love it.
Thanks for the ride !!
I don't know why but this video was so amusing
The best sound on earth can be herd on 1:50 to 2:00
Dude I thought this was my buddy haha looks just like him same shift knob an truck sounds just as sick. Only difference he has an engine brake.
sounds great, 7.3 powerstroke sound great
You should upload more videos of this truck, Sounds amazing
1st gear is useless in the obs 7.3’s unless you’re towing, glad I’m not the only that that doesn’t use it haha
Yeah the power output in first gears rivals a modern truck with 800 ftlbs of torque. Almost no need for it unless its pulling something.
@@sidescrollin but how does he start out so smooth in second. What’s the trick with it. (New driver of manual and i happen to be driving a 95 7.3)

Love that sound... Shame trucks like this are rare in the UK, most people in my town drive 1.6/ 2.0 diesels which sound shite

But at least your trees are healthy....BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Germany the same...only fucking 1.6-2.0 airpump diesels here. Hope I can drive an 6-7l truck soon
Sounds beautiful bro !
she was in boost the whole time she done 70mph I think it was around 2700 rpm.
4:11 rear I guess? I have a dually with 4:11's and a 5 spd. does it get annoying?
Toby Williams I have a 95 crew cab long bed Auto with 4.10's and at 70 she does 2300-2400 rpm depending on what accessories are on.
Nice. Wonder what the 'drone' at highway speeds is like...
it's was pretty loud, and in boost the whole time.
the first vehicle i learned standard in.
it sounds just like my dads old times!
I had a 97 powerstroke I sold it and bought a 5.9 cummins I miss my powerstroke lol

Nice Eddie Bauer trim! Got the same in my 97 5 speed ha ha. I need a straight pipe cause that extra whistle is excellent
Nice truck man, I have the same year 7.3 they're awesome trucks
Damn nice fucking truck and with manual can’t ask for nothing else on that beauty

I cut the exhaust off my 94.5, turbo downpipe only..and with that zf-5 i can do 30mph in 5th gear and all you hear is whistle... beautiful
1:48 is the part you’re looking for
No I am Looking For 1:48
You gonna make any more videos with the 95
I might be getting a 97’ F250 5-speed supercab 7.3
Get it?

THE CARPENTER DAD AND THE UNICORN TRUCK were here.
i love that sound.
Great vid! Love watching it :)
I just got an 87 6.9 IDI with 90k miles on it. I'm stoked! Why only 260k views? What is wrong with people?
Ford is the best car and truck brand out there hands down y’all
Wish I had a manual... Truck sounds great....
Do you have a stack or a exhaust coming out the back or a side exhaust? I’m just wondering because your turbo whistles very nicely.
U ever down shift instead of using the breaks then us them to stop and love the 7.3s very good trucks
Nice truck. No need to leave your hand on the shifter at all times. Some think it can even cause unnecessary wear.
What kind of gauges did you have? I've been thinking about getting some maxtows but I've seen mixed reviews on them.
How did you mount the camera/phone ?
God she sounds pretty 🇺🇸
The most bulletproof truck you can get a 7.3 with a zf trans.
F350 with a Dana 60 completes the combo
I love a manual 7.3 but i dont know how to drive stick :(
Learn it my man
Buy one and youll have no choice but to learn!
fuck just two more months and I'll have a perfectttt truck like yours man
Question. How is the ride on the obs 7.3’s?
Army of One36 from Bill him self-“it’s a rough riding SOB”
I keep a 1/4 yard of dirt in the bed of my 93 f250 regular cab, otherwise the rearend bounces around to much, these ride like old school trucks.
Love the truck! What brand of exhaust did you have on it?
Buying my first powerstroke 7.3 tmr, so exited but scarred to go poor lol
Famous75 Gaming howd it go?
Ye Olde Spaniard I got it lol
Famous75 Gaming congrats! what year? How many miles?
Hows it going?
Zestooo she’s good did new wheel wells and cab corners and painted it a few weeks ago

nine9sixSPS the rattle was my damn coffee cup! It bugs me more then any of you know.
Why do you have constantly your hand on the lever ?
michaelovitch the lever??
michaelovitch oh, the shifter. Because that's where I like my hand...
Wyatt willard lol
That truck reminds me of mine sounds like a simi duck mine is a 93 whats thus one ?
looks like this is in the northern utah area
these older truck usely have foot brake when park it?
Harshal Mehta I’ve had a truck roll away on me so I use the E-break in everything.
Harshal Mehta yes sir my 1994 7.3L f250 has one I park in 1st gear and the break just be sure to put it in neutral when you start her up
Can never trust the e brakes on these big rigs, my 01 crew cab long box 6 speed, put it in reverse when parked and always point to the curb
Utah?

with this video i'm travel !! where do you from ?
Amazing truck! What about its MPG? I've read this truck only gives 8 MPG.
Mike Alvarez 17/18 highway and 14 city. Keep in mind this is the 7.3 diesel. The 460 gas engine will only get 8 or 6.
Where'd you get the dash from? Looks good especially with the aluminum trim!! I have the doodoo tan interior. It's disgusting..
Frank Lopez it's literally the base model dash!😂

dang she sounds good
I think it was the Garrett with a wicked wheel compressor.
Roy Ut!! Represent!😂
Do you ever use 1st gear? Seems like you start from 2nd after a dead stop.
Johndoe2509 first gears "granny gear" pretty much just meant for heavy loads.
In my opinion, I think diesels are not forgiving when it comes to starting in second
That Copyright Guy on any obs ford you skip first he’s right it’s a granny gear even for the 300 straight six
I meant they are more forgiving when it comes to skipping gears. Autocorrect must have got me
That Copyright Guy ah then I would agree with you
Love old obs Ford's
How’d you get the turbo to be louder?
Do you take off on second gear?
Yeah, first gear is for pulling and a super low gear.

Van Tan Prak because I put it there...
sweet truck man I dont know if I should go for a manual or a automatic
manual 100% I drove couple autos and they shift to soon.
+Wyatt willard cool I am lookig for one and I dont really care whether its auto or manual but it seems very easy to shift that transmission
+Off Road Domination yeah very smooth trans. other then if you don't get into 3rd all the way it will kick you out and scare the shit out of you.
lol
Is it VGT swapped?
I want manual diesel truck so bad now😂
Have you thought of modifying it to run on biodiesel?
Shaggy Mason haven’t really looked into it. Normal diesel is pretty cheap here in Utah.
Wyatt willard okay it's about the same as gasoline here in Washington
What pipe is it ?
It sounds like a mix of a 6.0 and a 7.3 with the straight pipe
Sounds just like my 95 7.3 manual also, I'll upload a video soon
How was it on the highway? Do you recall what RPM's it'd be at around 70 mph?
My 7.3 will run about 2200-2300 RPM doing 70 mph.
Thank You
Why did he start out in second?
Kenneth Kruse because 1st is geared very low
Ye Olde Spaniard, thanks for letting me know that!
We'res u get that radio bud
Matt Posey I think Best Buy man
Wyatt willard thanks looking for a nice one that can Hook up to a aux
Matt Posey yeah It was a mid line pioneer if I remember correctly

Lmao you ain't getting no got damn 24..... da fuck wrong with you

3:40 damnnnn
I think it was a 4" cobra down pipe to 4" stainless.
I have a similar truck but mine is way slower lol i think it has to do with my many boost leaks and worn out injectors
why don't you use 1st?
Gary wheels bmx ive got the same truck and trans I use first gear every stop and when pullin or not. if you dont use it, you lose it
