Being American, I don't know most of the politicians they are talking about, but this was the funniest program I've seen in a real long time. And I needed the laughs. Thanks to whoever posted this!

@@jafa1402 The Shatner episode is really good. The other 2 favs of mine are Tom Baker (1970s Dr. Who) and Brian Blessed. The Brian Blessed one is just crazy. There are a couple with Boris Johnson that are funny, too, and show just how unbelievable it is that he was ever their prime minister. Once you watch shows like this, or The Last Leg, you quickly learn the politicians, see how much more they know about what's going on here than we do about there, and how much alike our countries are...usually in the worst ways.
I have become well versed in British politics and the UK in general over the last couple of years; it’s all I watch nowadays. I can’t stand American television and news.
I have never been more convinced that you - and I, must have watched a totally different show. I feel like I have sat through a funeral, despite the gallant attempts of Ian, Paul, and Ian's team member. I thought Desiree? was off her game, but then, I certainly would be. I gave her a wave through, from sympathy. Normally, the extended version is funnier, and I so look forward to it. I swear I will wait for, A bit more, but I can't resist... This week I actually think I will avoid the extended version. This has been SO miserable an experience.
I am not familiar with Ms. Morgan's work, but after enjoying her presentation on this program, I will have to seek some out. Thank you again for an enjoyable half hour.

Mock the Week went stale - I may have just aged...but it was a bit meh by the end to me anyway. I wasn't a big watcher of Kumar but his show got taken down from the bbc...maybe a Mock the Week will appear again and start fresh on another channel, cos I did love it! I guess HIGNFY can't be removed, it's ingrained...or Paul has all the knowledge :D

There were a few places where I thought there was a small drop in quality compared to the first four episodes this season, but overall it continued the trend toward season 65 being among the best of the HIGNY series. Many thanks to ViVaHD for sharing this so quickly. Love having HIGNY to watch with breakfast to start my morning where I live.
The bit with the protesters is insane. This police law and the public order law are basically saying "Obey, or else!" And the police are keen to see how far they can go with the "or else" part, knowing they'll get away with it.
Does anyone need to remind his new royal majesty that the first king Charles pissed off his Parliament so badly that he's now resting in St George's Chapel Windsor in 2 pieces?
Best host I’ve seen on HIGNFY for quite a while. The old classics are always fun but Morgan does an exceptional job here. Hope she’s back to host again, a much needed spark seems to have returned to what for the rest of the season I felt was quite a lifeless and awkward atmosphere
Not seen this show for quite a while;...so glad to see the standard maintained. Who remembers when Merton was in the chair and replaced the non-starter Lord Roy (something-or-other) with a Tub of Lard???
Especially all the money that was spent on a ceremony for a king who is all ready the king (or figure head), all while Britain has some of the highest inflation rates going, with many thanks in part to Brexit! Many wonder where their next meal is coming from, people paying for electricity with weekly meters, never mind those ever changing mortgage rates that exist there. And then they have the nerve to say this was the scaled down version! How much was it supposed to cost then? Add to that the insanity of saying that people that earn £30,000 are middle class! On what planet in a supposed first world country is that middle class?! I guess I'm keyed up with empathy coming to you from across the pond where low wage no benefit jobs abound, you have to make at least $50,000 to even approach middle class. Where the rich, the politicians, or in general the 1% "special" "more important" people can do whatever they want and get away with it, just like in Britain! Not sure if my venting helped either of us, but at least we can watch HIGNFY! Lol

UK does a lot of things badly, but one of things we do very well is humour for sure
As an American, I understood about half of the jokes, but had a great time and got a few chuckles.
I watch it from Sweden every week, it's my beloved Saturday breakfast company, before the kids get up!
