Absolutely love this show! It brightens up the end of my day. I watch it in bed at night to forget the day's horrid news...although lately I watch all the news in bed...when I moan, groan and scream, it's handy to be on a safe surface. Thanks ever so much for bringing it to us!
It makes me so happy that he's a great representation of American comedy in the UK for so long. The newer American comedians making their way into the panel show environment are often quite poor.
Speaking of pockets I would have shouted Donna’s line, I’m in my wedding dress, it doesn’t have pockets! One thing I forgot to ask the maker is to have pockets!

The Velveeta Voldemort is getting indicted now. It is funny for everyone but him🤣🤣🤣 And of course all those Americans who died while he said Covid was a hoax.🤷♀️
"It's amazing what you get a round of applause for." Spoken like a true man who never had to contend with a lack of functional pockets, Ian. 🤣 (P.S. I am watching this - well, more like listening to - while sewing a skirt. It's a knockoff of an old RTW one that I love, with one exception: it doesn't have pockets. You bet I put them in the new version!)

well, this'd be a terrific High School required class... to watch these shows in sequence and then study how much of it was true and how much of it was false. LOL
Is it considered poor taste for Americans to wear the poppy for remembrance? We lost some 200,000 soldiers during WWI, even though our contribution was minimal compared to the UK and France. Until recently we also had a tradition of wearing poppies on Armistice Day. But I've never seen an American panelist wearing a poppy with the Brits.
In Canada we have Remembrance Day & wear poppies like Britain… but then again, we still have the Queen/King on some of our money. In the USA, what do you call Nov 11th? Are schools & some businesses closed? I wasn’t aware that you wore poppies.
@@YaYaFGAN We called it Armistice Day when I was a kid, but now we call it Veterans Day. It is no longer a federal holiday (schools are still open), but some businesses might choose to close. We honor our fallen soldiers on Memorial Day every year (the equivalent of Remembrance Day), which is the first Monday in September. That's a pretty big holiday here. So November 11 is no longer a big holiday for us, but that's really because our equivalent holiday is in September. And since it's always on a Monday, most people get Memorial Day off. Schools used to begin their term the following day, but recently it seems schools are now beginning the school year in August, with Memorial Day as a holiday.
If anyone but Reg had a clue about US politics, the initial 12 minutes might have been somewhat amusing and insightful. The glib contempt demonstrated by the moneyed classes is equally corrosive on both sides of the pond.
🤣 Displaying your ignorance in more ways than one. Hell, half the people there literally know US politics better than the average American-- and not just because the average American would likely fail a modern civics test.
@@ichijofestival2576Indeed, but it wouldn’t be hard. I know far more US geography, politics, literature than the people I met travelling. It’s terrifying how dumb and locked out they are.
I for one have been enjoying Biden much more than Trump. Our constitution is still intact. Nobody is expected to swear personal loyalty to a single person as a test for office. That stuff's pretty important. Still, I'd prefer an actual left-leaning candidate for president.
Two of my all-time favourite guests (Tennant and Hunter) and Merton bang on form. Bloody brilliant!
Thanks for uploading. Like many others, I really appreciate these since I moved overseas!
David was wonderful, i hope he'll be back for this again
Thanks for uploading
He's been on more than once as host.
This was the funniest episode ive seen in a while. Paul and David were top form. 👍👍 I live abroad also so really appreciate this. ❤️👍

Me too. Cheers!

Thank you for posting, this is hilarious. Especially in Detroit where it's another Grey day.
This is truly one of the best episodes!
Always a joy to see Reg. And proud he's a fellow Atlanta guy

Thanks for this. Always fun to watch the extended version.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!
No matter how often I watch this, Paul's rant on the swimmer will never not be hilarious!
Thanks for posting.
Honestly impressed with how well David hosted! You always hope, but seldom does your favorite actors do well in these arenas
Hardly his first time, he's been great before too!
@@vidurbutalia2130 did you read the comment?
Loved Paul's outrage over that swimmer. Hilarious.
Thanks so much!!
Thanks
Thankyou for sharing this with us, no matter where on this globe we are. Anticipating this last Friday's episode! I hope it's soon.
One of the best episodes ever!
I noticed at 3:01 and many other times Jodie Whittaker behind Ian hislop, (far left) And just after pausing at 21:18 a Dalek!
Timeless.

Ms. Prebble has the best laugh I've ever heard
Literally just realised that Lucy Prebble's necklace says "Necklace".
Good with appropriate labeling so you don't accidentally put it on your wrist instead :-)
David's laugh is a gift from God
David Tennant delivering some timey wimey zingers :-)
Bravo! I wasn't sure if he'd go there. I should have had more faith. The wrench joke nearly killed me.
I don't usually comment, but Paul was amazingly funny on this episode.
We seriously need a special LIVE HIGNFY after today's cabinet meeting!
Lucy is adorable.
3 years on, mr t

I just lost it when Jeremy Corbyn took an illegal left turn 😂😂😂

Paul is shooting jokes at such an high speed that its almost impossible to beat him at his favorite game
if you're swimming, towing a log, in water, that log has very little resistance unless he's pulling it behind him sideways.
But was this log a giant pencil, or the General Grant sequoia? There's the rub :-)
First David was in Doctor Who, then DuckTales, now this!
Ducktales!? Like the show with Uncle Scrooge?
@@chenzenzo He IS Uncle Scrooge. Took over from the great Alan Young, who I only now learned he's from the UK (hey, I grew up on Mr. Ed).

Paul was wondering why he knew Richard Madeley didn’t wear underwear; he knows because Frank Skinner mentioned it when he hosted many years ago.
I knew it from that episode, too!
Reginald D Hunter speaking such truth!

How awful it was back then, and now it's worse
