This job was pretty simple however - o got the massive $h|t$ on while doing it because if you don’t have the exact right length extensions on your ratchet it is a pain . Took me about 1.5 hours , 3 froths and half a pack of chips but I got it done - it’s helps more if you have skinny Japanese arms too 😂
No need to file alternator where bolt slides through, press the sleeve on bracket attached to engine located at frontend to move back into position so alternator will slide in between brackets. @@WillsLandcruiser

Timing belt was due at the time. Replaced it along with the water pump shortly after

What alternator did you use?

Did you have to file down the alternator to get it inside the bracket? I did… and I’m pretty sure we have the same oex alternator, great vid btw
Yes I sure did. It’s just too tight otherwise
