@@MM-eo2oz because he wakes up at 4 and does a podcast ? - never put anyone on a pedestal like that, because when you do you instantly set the bar at "I am a god" if you ever want to be anywhere near that level.
I'm sure if you asked Jocko: "do you feel like a god?" he would obviously say: "no" - and there's a reason for that. The reason is that the only way to climb to the top of the mountain, is to at first, at the very least, think that it's possible for you.
(if you were just joking or something like that, just disregard everything I said)

holy crap this was me and my friends growin up only we were worse. We threw ball bearings, rocks, tennis balls, snow balls and tomatos at cars. We'd climb the water tower in town. We'd break street lights. We'd put M80s in peoples' screen doors. We'd kick in hubcaps. I took my Dad's car at 14, picked up my friends, smoked my Dad's cigs he left in the car. I drove thru the concrete barrier guarding the downstairs in the garage cuz of the ice in the driveway. We wrestled. It was Iowa. We bow hunted with recurves. My friend's Dad was white but he wanted to be an Indian so he taught us bow hunting with recurves. My friend got a black bear. Me? skunked. This podcast brought back lots of memories. If you would ever want to take a look into American northwest logging im in Quincy ,Ca about 850 miles north of you in San Diego we are working the bear fire 500,000 acre fire , I would love to be your huckleberry to show you some Awsome men and women with amazing team work and individual work ethic. An average day is midnight to 5 pm plus working out to stay on the path and educating while working.
You sir got payed to play soldier I missed my chance , I get payed to play with sticks and dirt and just wana give back to vetrans, something we do have in common we truly love what we do! maybe we could meet and shed some light on each other! Thank you for your time and giving back to all , you are a true hero in this no TV , no slack household.
Your time you can not have a price put on it . It is not repayble but we can pay it forward by showing others the path. My dream and goal is to put a all Vetran logging out fit together that hires nothing but veterans. We work as team and individual. But no matter what no man is left on the mountain ! I will not give up on this goal until the day I die.
I very much understand your a Very busy man also, But Good things take time and bad things happen very fast, and only hope we can make something happen . I have nothing special to bring to the table other then a hand shake my work ethic and 3 famous words . I'll be there.
P.s my kids love and adore mikey and the dragon an Way of the Warroir kid; God bless those who went into the Frey and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom! Thank you Mr. Willink, Thank you Echo Charles.
    Sincerely,
    Charles Brownlee a humble logger
