- Tired of waiting hours for the perfect rack of ribs? Well, wait no more! In this video, I'll guide you through the art of cooking ribs hot and fast, making it the ideal weeknight meal or when it's too cold outside. Stick around until the end for a quick tip on elevating your grilled ribs, and I'll also share one potential setback to this speedy cooking method.
For hot and fast ribs, you’ll need to cut the ribs into single bones. This not only reduces cooking time but also adds a delightful bark all around the rib - a major flavor boost! Please avoid rubs with sugar. They will burn! Instead experiment with adding a sugary rub towards the end of the cook. You’ll want to add the bbq sauce at the end as well.
Say goodbye to long cooking times and hello to mouthwatering ribs in a flash. Leave the low n slow ribs for the weekend so you can go out there and enjoy the experience.

Welcome to the other side, my man! I’ve done at least 3 hot and fast rib cooks man, we love it. Great cook as always!
thanks Ron! I had to do this. My hot and fast vortex ribs was a popular video and had to remake it without the vortex this time.
Great looking ribs and tips my friend! YUM! Have a great week my friend!
Thank you!
Mole on ribs. Looks fantastic!
Thanks Johnny!
I love that you went away from a traditional bbq sauce!! Nice cook!
thank you CJ!
Cool idea on the mole sauce Sal. Ribs looked delicious!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Those look amazing! Wish I had some for breakfast 😋
Thanks for checking it out!
This looked super Sal! Definitely worth doing it that way, Cheers brother!🍻
very delicious! gonna keep experimenting with this method.
In the Navy as well as the rest of the Armed Forces, ribs cut up into two rib portions. Now, we didn't use a grill or smoker, it was a preboil and oven action. Feeding over a couple thousand people in a 5 hour meal is a challenge. This is a great tip as you described.
Very cool. I can't imagine having to feed that many people. Thanks Paulie!
@@SJCOOKS ...correction,...partial boil. It was work,...for sure!
These look great bro! I like the Mole twist. I'll bet they're fantastic like that!
Pork and mole is my favorite combo!
🤔Hmmm never tried Mole with ribs...but that sounds so righteously delicious!👌🏼I need to make these!! Thanks Sal for sharing this👍🏼✌🏼
Pork and mole are my favorite. Goes great together, must try!
Great video Sal. Very informative. Them ribs look fired too👊🏽
thank you! these were some great tastin ribs for sure!
They looked fantastic Sal. I've done them hot and fast as a whole rack on the elevated grate above the charcoal with vents wide open flipping every 20 mins. They come out fantastic but taste more like pork chops than ribs. Still worth a try. Nice cook!
never done direct on the kettle before. but have done on the gabby's grill. it takes closer to 2hours but I usually end up wrapping like at 90 minutes. I need to make another video on this soon
@@SJCOOKS If you have the elevated grate, give them a try on that. It's closer to the heat and they get a great taste.
Oh, heck yeah, Sal! I'll take a plate of those ribs in mole sauce!!! Great idea!😋😋😋😋😋👍
thanks Kevin. as you saw my face, it gets messy so have plenty of napkins at hand lol
nice job. i do ribs like this alot..
it's good stuff!
Those ribs looked great!💯 Mole sauce huh...🤔🤔
thank you! ...and yes Sir, the mole sauce is delicious!
Damn brother, incredible. Have you tried the Mole sauce on beef short ribs? If the weather allows, thats my next weekend cook, and I'm down to make a mole sauce.
I haven't tried it on short ribs before but bet it's outstanding. I experimented around with some chopped tri tip and was a big fan so I think most beef would go great!
Your hot and fast ribs look great Sal! Rotbooy Approved! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Thanks Sal! Cheers brother! 🍻
Delicioso 😊
thanks Raul!
You forgot to mention that you can achieve a delicious hot and fast ribs only with baby back ribs, not with spare ribs. Baby back ribs are meatier and leaner. Spare ribs need longer to cook since they have more fat and cartilages.
excellent point! I wanted to try it with spare ribs but costco was all out. maybe next time...
First!
…btw, those ribs look incredible!
thanks Justin!
Bonjour mon ami et merci pour le partage . Passe une excellente journée
Thank you my friend!
