    I just bought it (one week ago) and still I am discovering it. The Intel N100 performs really great. No lag no breaks. The keyboard is just amazing. I am not using the trackpad a lot, but it is responsive and recognise all the gestures. The screen is sharp with vivid colors. Speakers are mediocre. Battery life is decent but with intense use you will need the power adaptor (i reached easy 5 hours with office applications). The built quality is surprising good. it gives the feeling of a much more expensive device. Overall it's a value for money choice. Highly recommended for students and for office use on the go.

    Please show the pen input with palm rejection properly, with your palm on the screen. That's how normal people take notes with their tablet.
    Surface pen works great, even the older models. Chuwi pen input is not known to be the best in town. I have the Chuwi uBook (11.6"), the first model. Pen input works reasonably but goes all crazy if you have power plugged in. No such an issue with Surface - Had a Surface 3 and 4 in the past.
    Using an S6 lite 2024 right now. Spen, with the EMR pen from wacom, is still my fav pen. Just works. Best of all, no battery or charging needed.

    The battery life (and underpowered CPU) is always the drawback with these tablets. If they made an underpowered one, with great battery life, these would be real options for most people.

      This is so accurate! I'd be fine with the compromise of a less good screen for at least 6+ hours of battery life. But if this portable machine only lasts like 3 to 4 hours whats the point.

      @@alfredoaraujo9294Isnt it obivous?
      Not for heavy worker. Just lite office work.
      And streaming + Game pass cloud etc...
      Simmilar position Surface go4 is double price.
      Same battery time. 10 inch display.
      This item's price with this quality id almost revolution.

    For $300 the Chuwi Hi10 Max is a great alternative to the Surface Pro in the sense that it's very affordable and it won't break the bank at the end of the day. It has decent port selection, pretty good webcam and internal mic. quality. I thought the internal speakers are adequate for the job. This is highly recommended if you don't have a lot of money to spend and gives the Surface Pro a definite run for the money! Awesome review Andrew!! 👍😁

    Nice pc for the price. Camera looked good. Mics are okay. Speakers were flat but for what most users are using this for and for the price are okay. Speaking of price this is a great alternative. The surface with the keyboard one is looking at spending two grand versus about 300 dollars. Looking at it another way one can purchase 3 of these units and still save a lot of money. Anyway another great quality review.

    I just bought a used Surface Pro 7 for 250 euros on Ebay. Seems like a much better deal to me :)

    Nice review. Im considering this Chuwi option and their Corebook X. Are you planning on reviewing the latter as well?

    İ have a question which is better samsung s9 fe or chuwi hi10 max ?

    • @andrewmarcdavid
      @andrewmarcdavid  12 днів тому +1

      Samsung is running Android but if you need windows applications to run than obviously the Chuwi is a better option since it runs Windows.

    I feel it should have been listed as a con the lack of windows hello login for this device. Unless I missed it, this detail was only shown in writing in the specs chapter, and wasn’t mentioned elsewhere in the video.
    That’s a dealbreaker for me - I use biometrics for just about everything now. Otherwise this would have been a great general purpose device for me to use around the house.

    I'd consider it, if only it had USB Display out. I'd use it with an Xreal One Pro which I'll get in March.

    Looks good for price. The surface flex keyboard without pen costs nearly as much.

    Even if it doesn't beat the Surface in every regard, there's one thing that it completely beats Chuwi - and that is value.

    Seems to be good for students maybe, especially with the stylus support. Used surfaces can be a better choice though.

    I've been vary about chuwis Celeron APUs for tablets as they usually suck in performance.
    But this has 4 cores, vs Celeron 2 core version which I truly hate.
    My work laptop is a dual core Intel crap, true crap, only if used at full performance mode does it run somewhat. Then battery drains like Titanic.

    My work is going to pay $250 for a cheap laptop for me to upgrade. This is exactly what the doctor ordered! How is the battery life?

    • @andrewmarcdavid
      @andrewmarcdavid  Місяць тому +2

      Battery is 4 maybe 5 hours max

      Oof! Thanks! With that many milliamp hours, I'm not surprised. But this is the best-looking Contender I've found for doing browser and Word document work and very light video editing in the field, using Windows Movie Maker. Anything else you can think of in this price range that has a killer battery?

    12gb ram on windows 11 and some of that is taken for the vram is a really bad idea in 2025. 😅
