Nicole, about 5yrs. Ago, I deemed myself a black thumb. I loved gardening but knew nothing. In 2020, instead of worrying about my wedding photography business or getting consumed by the uncertain, I went outside and vowed to learn how to garden. I watched your videos and put them to practice in my own small space, creating a gorgeous landscape I could have only dreamed about. I’ve been hooked ever since. Last week I accepted a job as a garden manager at a local private school running their gardening program. It’s a 1/2 acre of garden space for flowers, fruits, veggies and herbs, complete with a heated growing dome. The position is flexible enough to keep my photography business running smoothly as well. So I see your goals and I know with your drive and expertise you will create all you ever dreamed of. Thank you for inspiring me, and teaching me.. You’ve truly changed my life.. ❤️

I wanted to tell you today how much more I think about YOU when you thanked your viewers for just watching a video, or when you said you couldn’t have done certain things because of “us”. You remind me of something I heard a friend say about her husband recently. He said he always makes plans, and she said no, you're a community maker. Those people are so special. Thinking about others and how they can bring them together to do fun things. :) it's so important in small towns to have family-friendly events and classes.

It will just make everything more personal and special for your customers. A direct connect Keurig and an assortment of teas and coffees will be great. There’s probably a local cookie maker that would be interested in selling there. So much potential. You’ve got this. It’s going to be wonderful. I’m so happy to hear Biranda can give you more hours this year. She will be an immense help to you…..a horticultural degree, nursery management and florist experience. It doesn’t get any better than that. How joyful is it that you get to see even more of your AWESOME family members. Family is everything…..and close friends who are really extended family members….soul family. I’ve always believed if you do something for the right reason it will work out. While you must take profit into consideration, you are not motivated by the money it’s going to make you. You are not looking to get rich. You’re looking to provide a beautiful space that will benefit the community while providing an income. You have a good soul….and mind. You are using it wisely. It will truly be a destination nursery. We have a destination nursery not too far and I'm there just about every chance I get. Walking through their gardens is highly inspirational. Most of the plants for sale are mixed in with their gardens. The only thing they lack is decaf and cupcakes. Love this for you.

I've always found the ability to see the stars in four season rooms so refreshing. Maybe winter movie nights under the stars in the greenhouse? The possibilities are endless!

It is so wonderful to see your dream coming true. I've worked in two different greenhouses and they were both totally different. I love geraniums, coleus, shade plants and shade flowers, perennials for both shady areas and sunny areas, pansies, and petunias. I also love Blanket Flowers, Cone flowers, Poppies, and many others also.

Your ideas sound so wonderful. Love the idea of a big front porch. Will the porch have a few chairs for sitting? Maybe a bench or two in the inspiration garden for studying the garden and dreaming up plans for other gardens. It's going to be so wonderful, and it will evolve over time. Enjoy the journey.
