I liken him to a Zen master. Perhaps the chief cook in the monastery, widely regarded by the other monks as the most enlightened of the entire order. HE NEVER MEASURES ANYTHING! And it always comes out perfect, or so it seems through the tube.

I am Brazilian and never saw this recipe before! I know a different kind of lasagna, with just ham, mozzarella cheese and bolognese... and the pasta, of course. That’s the only lasagna I have ever taste here. But, this recipe you showed looks very good and tasty! Yummy!

when i found jack's 2 channels 8 months ago i could not believe what i'd found. what he does is make the most complicated recipes simple and fun. other channels lead you through recipes that by the end you say , 'really? do i wanna jump through all these hoops to make a lasange or bechamel or beurre blanc?' he throws all this stuff together so that by the end you say, 'shit! i can do THAT!'. we've never eaten so well. god bless you jack. thank you, thank you, thank you.

Best lasagna pasta is Bertoli's (con ovo with eggs). A trick is to put some olive oil in your boiling pot of salted water for the pasta. Then you can leave a lid on so that things speed up and do not cook over. Another trick is to cook your pasta in water enriched with chicken stock. It makes the pasta taste real good. For the white sauce, do some nutmeg in it. Season your bolognese sauce with Miracoli spaghetti mix. Well baked and moist.

Use a wooden/plastic spoon when stirring ingredients in a steel pan. By using a steel spoon you can scrape very small metal flakes into your ingredients giving it a metallic taste!!!!!
