I liken him to a Zen master. Perhaps the chief cook in the monastery, widely regarded by the other monks as the most enlightened of the entire order. HE NEVER MEASURES ANYTHING! And it always comes out perfect, or so it seems through the tube.
I am Brazilian and never saw this recipe before! I know a different kind of lasagna, with just ham, mozzarella cheese and bolognese... and the pasta, of course. That’s the only lasagna I have ever taste here. But, this recipe you showed looks very good and tasty! Yummy!
when i found jack's 2 channels 8 months ago i could not believe what i'd found. what he does is make the most complicated recipes simple and fun. other channels lead you through recipes that by the end you say , 'really? do i wanna jump through all these hoops to make a lasange or bechamel or beurre blanc?' he throws all this stuff together so that by the end you say, 'shit! i can do THAT!'. we've never eaten so well. god bless you jack. thank you, thank you, thank you.
Love watching this guy! He's authentico....know what I mean. None of this fake, unrealistically perfect and clean HGTV and Food network garbage that people should really turn off. Good job sir...
Awesome looking Brazilian Lasagna. I will definitely be making this recipe. My girlfriend and I play the drinking game with this video. Every time Daddy Jack says Bob we drink a shot of Brandy or a sip of Cabernet. Fun stuff! Peace to Daddy Jack's! Yvette M.
Jack, I made this dish for my family, everyone loved it! I'm a big fan, Jack.... I love to watch your videos..... But please make it easier for all of us, and start writing out the recipe for each dish when you post the video. It sure would save me time. God Bless, Brother.
Best lasagna pasta is Bertoli's (con ovo with eggs). A trick is to put some olive oil in your boiling pot of salted water for the pasta. Then you can leave a lid on so that things speed up and do not cook over. Another trick is to cook your pasta in water enriched with chicken stock. It makes the pasta taste real good. For the white sauce, do some nutmeg in it. Season your bolognese sauce with Miracoli spaghetti mix. Well baked and moist.
Just started watching your videos and wanted to thank you brother always been scared to take that step in the kitchen but idk you've definitely opened up my eyes thanks again God bless
Use a wooden/plastic spoon when stirring ingredients in a steel pan. By using a steel spoon you can scrape very small metal flakes into your ingredients giving it a metallic taste!!!!!
Beautiful, but before it sets, give it a broil for aesthetics. Nevermind, you did it at the end before serving. Bravo, you sir, Jack, you serve the soul food. Because you're full of SOUL and love.
Dear Jack, I love this, it looks delicious, but as a Brazilian, I admit that this is not our original recipe of lasagna. We use the bolonhesa sauce, mozzarella cheese and ham between layers ... only. Best.....
its from Italy dont worry about it , you have the same recipe as Italy and you call it a Brazilian recipe ? ffs bullshit , its Italian full stop , youre only copying it like every where else in the world and you think its Brazilian jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

i love the fact he's been doing this so long that his knife work appears a little clumsy and nonchalant yet is quite precise. he's a cool dude.

I've learned a whole new definition of "a little" since I started watching this channel.
If everyone loved something as much as Jack Chaplin loves cooking, the world would be a much better place. Great videos brother. Keep them coming!
True inspiration. You see the joy he brings and pride in his craft

Tá mal informado. Aqui é bem comum Lasagna de bechamel com recheio de frango.
Oh no not bolony and ham in lasagna! Lol leave the lasagna to the Italians. 😂
@@TasteandElevate bolognese, like the sauce. not boloney

When Jack says a little bit, he means more than you have ever used in your life.
I wonder what he could mean saying "generous amount"?

Thanks for sharing this, see you next time.
Jack you are a great Chef.
grows on me each time i watch him cook. he has that classic paranoid look over the shoulder look every good cook has in this one.
The sound of those onions makes me want to start cooking. Excellent excellent show. 1:35
Suuuuper sharp knife needed though
Obrigado Chef! 🇧🇷🇺🇸
this is a real chef throwing down...all respect to him.

Greetings from Brasil,nice recipe.
You've got a great kitchen there. I used to cook in restaurants. I really miss it. I'm stuck cooking with electric now and I hate it.
Government mandate ? Commiefornia or New Woke ?
Why are you stuck with an electric stove? LOL sounds like a communist country.

There ya go again chef, another great dish.
Never heard of brazilian lasagna but that sure looks delicious. It would take me all day to make it and another day to clean up :)
You don't have to precook pasta for lasagna. It will easily cook in that meat sauce. That is the right way to do it. Try it! You will see.
An hour in the oven will do it for sure.
This cats a legend...u watching ur learning from a master
I think lasagne is the best food ever created
Love the lasagne. How about some sausage and cheese stuffed shells. Thumbs up. I just love how fast u chop the veggies. True chef.
