@@kenkri1984 yup
Yeah! windows 11 it's amazing for me.
Why the hell Microsoft didn't put a separator feature.. C'mon. After a while, when you keep adding stuff, without separator/divisors the taskbar will look ugly and messed up.
You're a legend, a living one.. Thank you, I have a Surface Pro & this means I can write or ''move around'', "in" the computer more freely without bumping something. Just little things like this make the biggest difference.
Sir, in moving the taskbar up, I put the value to 01, and then I restarted the explorer it is not going up and when I checked on the registry it again restored to the original value i.e 03. What do you think I should do now? it automatically sets the value to 03 even after changing it to 01.
Excellent job on this video. Great delivery, guidance, and support materials! If only we could have our functional taskbars back!!!
Make sure to submit feedback by pressing Windows Logo Key + F... they have a team focused on the task bar and they read the feedback that comes in. My biggest pain point... dragging and dropping items to the task bar.
I turned on the option that makes your taskbar only appear when you move your mouse to the bottom of the screen. Does not work, taskbar will not change any behavior
@@KevinStratvert how i can ungroup/never combine taskbar buttons in windows 11… Please make a video on it….
@@KevinStratvert Hi Kevin, I just sent a Suggestion/Compliant to Microsoft because as of today 3/26/24, this is still an ongoing issue. What a shame that Microsoft had to interfer with our productitivty. I wonder if they will get back to me. But thank you for all your great tutuorials. I just won't be making changes to the registry due to some comments.
I want to see all apps that I am using in the taskbar... to include multiple instances of the same program, e.g. 3 word documents... I want to see each document have their own icon IN the taskbar. Is that possible in Windows 11??
Thanks Kevin. Love watching your videos. Makes us all smarter 😃. I do have a related question to this video: I used to use the Quicklaunch facility where I right-clicked Win10 taskbar, up to Toolbars and added a New toolbar which pointed at a folder containing all my most useful links and this was permanently docked on the right of the taskbar. The upgrade has removed this and I can't see a way to put it back. Has is totally disappeared? If so, knowing you, I'm sure you have a smart work-around.
I hate windows 11 taskbar. I just want to uncollapse my apps, so I can easily click a different microsoft word easily without having to click the icon first.
Hi Kevin ! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. Indeed very helpful and easy to follow. I just need one more information which is not given in this tutorial and I am also unable to figure it out. The taskbar can populate only 20 odd icons. I have around 32 icons on my taskbar. But I can see only 20. How can I see the balance 12 icons. Even if reduce the size of icons, still I cannot see the balance. In Windows 10, there was a sign for overflow. So it was easy to roll to next page. I will sincerely appreciate if you can please help me in this. Thanks in advance. Cheers !
hi, how i can add Folder to the Taskbar (toolbar)
in Win 10 i always used für my main Folder with main File.... in win 11 i doesn't found the feature :(
I tried these registry hacks, and they didn't work well for me on Windows 11, the move taskbar to top did not work at all! I would change the registry entry, and it would revert to previous value.
The size of taskbar hack worked but left me with part of date and time off-screen, so I put everything back as it was and found another solution.
I have tried TaskbarSi for smaller Icons in Taskbar yes it makes icon smaller but Right corner icons with system clock and date not gets smaller and smaller taskbar makes Date goes below the screen please give solution to fix it.
Hi. I was able to successfully resize my icons awhile back through your video. However, I am honestly not sure what happened, but now they are large again and the same method does not work. Any other suggestions?
i find many differences b/n windows 10 and 11, however i managed but i want the option for never combine taskbar buttons i'm unable to find out that option
Wnen I restart WinExplorer my taskbar stays down... I did everything as in the video
i tried to download the taskbarXI, but i cannot do the same things as you, i do not see the same things as you show, and i cannot find anywhere where i can make the taskbar transparent, or change the color
Unfortunately on my laptop if I set the TaskbarSI to 0, part of the notification area is hidden where the time and date is displayed
OK this makes no sense at all. Everything on the taskbar is stacked onto one icon. And I need everything separated.
How do I "never combine" my open Excel files please? Windows 11 is combining them all :(
how can i uninstall this taskbarxi bullshit. it fucked my pc up
multiple tabs are combined all the time which is the worst scenario. can you give me a solution .i don't want tabs to combine
How i can ungroup/never combine taskbar button in windows 11…. Please make a video on it
I've done everything that you showed in the video but it's not working for me.
No help in THE ONE thing people want most.. move taskbar to the right or left of the screen.
goes to note pad- *Battery status: Fully chared 100%*
why does this happen all the time 😭
might as well delete this video now that the entire taskbar settings layout has changed with the latest win 11 big update
I feel like updating my pc to windows 11 i was scammed......
It f'ing sucks.
HOW TO Changing the notification color of taskbar icon from orange to something else?
8:33 Not available anymore. Dowmloading the latest exe does not install the app.
This does not even work for me (top screen taskbar and bigger/smaller icons)
How to download windows 11 If ur system doesn't meet the requirements.
the taskbar small icon its not working anymore any alternative?
where's "never combine" taskbar setting in win11 ???? 😭
I'm not able to icon size. Did all the steps, but still couldn't do it. I did the same for taskbar position and noticed it takes me back to the original settings. Please help me with this 😭😭
same here bro
SOmeone here knows how to use the searchbar and using smal icons at the same time?
I absolutely hate that the accessibility has been restricted so much !
Tools bars option is missing in windows 11.
Before in Windows 10 , we have to right click and toolbars and you can select any folder which is very convenient for speed access. This is Missing in Windows 11 or am I missing something?
the almighty elite knows best
Do you have any method to make Windows 11 able to use the "never combine multiple taskbar button"? I think those fiture removed in Windows 11.
How do you change the size of the icones back to the same size
This new Taskbar is such a downgrade. No Drag and Drop, Options and Functions are gone. Microsoft did a really bad Job.
Agreed
it doestn work when i try to move it or change the icons sizes
How to change the color of the icon in the taskbar when it is notifying me? By default is orange and i bearly notice it in win 10 was way more noticeable and better. Any idea?
HELOU!!!
This is a good tutorial and helps in many areas; however, unlike Win10, an open app doesn't display the appropriate window.
ie. If I am working with two Word documents, I am unable to readily see which to select!
I just wanna add the volume mixer to my taskbar
