VERY useful, thank you. Change for change's sake or do they actually want to make things more difficult for us?
Thanks! I just bought a new laptop and this is GOLD. How much of my sanity have you just saved not having to see all of those ads???!!! Nice coffee mug too 😊
All great information. Incidentally, I log in to my computer using a local account, and I can still keep my data synced through Microsoft OneDrive and through other avenues like Dropbox and Google Drive. The main issue I have with using my Microsoft account to log into my computer is that it allows Microsoft to "manage" my computer. Even my Google Chrome browser behaved differently when I tried logging in using my MS account. There was a message stating that my computer was being managed by a third party, and I had limited functionality. That alone was more than enough to make me change that setting.
The only comment I have is the Block Apps: Selecting allow from MS Store only prevents say installing manufacturers driver updates. A better option is the 'Anywhere, but warn before installing an app that's not from the MS Store. Thanks.
Subscribed. Awesome step by step follow, along guide. Some channels simply rush and just fly through a steps, assuming you already know where a certain location is. This was very easy to follow. 👍
Excellent video. Recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 11 installed. Your video was very informative and helped me customize my laptop to eliminate features that are not important to me.
This is a good demo video of new features in Windows 11, but many people who have tried Windows 11 have experienced less security in exchange for new features that they will not use or need and prefer security and privacy over more features that are less important than security, privacy and user ownership of the software rather than Microsoft ownership of the software and imposing their unauthorized updates, unauthorized changes in settings and hoarding users data and band width, which is why a low-end Linux Chromebook has a faster internet speed performance than a high-end Lenovo Thinkpad X2 Carbon using Windows.
I really enjoyed this! I found it so easy to follow! I am a Senior and appreciate the clarity, content, presentation and knowledge that you shared. Part of my family is from Lithuania. I am in the US. God Bless you and your work.

And Windows 10 was already the edge of what I liked and Windows 11 is just over the edge and we don't care, we take everything and control everything you can and can't do on Your Operating system. I beg you, if you're gonna stay on Windows, stay, on Windows 10 or one of the older versions. Or do like me say Fuck Microsoft and switch to Linux. don’t let them control your life when you have the Freedom to choose.
Thank You from Canada this video was VERY helpful thanks again take care.....
Glad it was helpful!
VERY useful, thank you.
A sign of the times is that this video was posted in Jan 2022 and here I am in May 2023 using Windows 11 Home, 22H2 and Microsoft have changed SO many of the steps to get where you indicate!
Change for change's sake or do they actually want to make things more difficult for us?
you shouldn't download win 11 at all yet.
Windows 11 is a smoking pile of crap.
@@chuckinhouston9952nah i love it
Brilliant video, this was remarkable. Your style and knowledge it second to none.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Simp
The first thing you should change is to change back to 10.
F🤬🤬k no.
Why ?
@@hbc51110 is near its end with Windows 11 out, and Windows 12 coming pretty soon, so just upgrade. It's worth the spyware.
I hated 10!
Not 10, change back to Windows 7. Windows 10 is nothing but bloatware.
Thanks! I just bought a new laptop and this is GOLD. How much of my sanity have you just saved not having to see all of those ads???!!! Nice coffee mug too 😊
about to set up a new mini pc hope your suggestions will be a good guide, Thanks
This is a very useful video. I was pleasantly surprised to see that most of these setting were already turned off in my laptop.
Thank you for the information…… have a great week 🇺🇸
Thank you! Your directions were easy to follow and I feel better about my new Windows !
JUst got a new pc with windows 11 and this info was very helpful
Perfect video. Lots of information easily explained without a lot of dross. Thanks.
THANK YOU, LEILA. THIS REVIEW IS AWESOME. I JUST SUBSCRIBED. OH, AND YOUR VOICE IS PERFECT. God Bless. Enjoy your YOUTH!
The only comment I have is the Block Apps: Selecting allow from MS Store only prevents say installing manufacturers driver updates. A better option is the 'Anywhere, but warn before installing an app that's not from the MS Store. Thanks.
Very good, Leila. Very helpful for someone like me thats not that UP on Computers.
You are the best. Sometimes it is difficult to concentrate and you know why. Thanks for your helpful videos. Keep Beautiful 🌷& Keep Safe…..

Perfect. Thanks.
hello from trev in the UK thank you so much for this help i needed it as well thank you so much all the best from trev
Thank you for the video. I just got a Windows 11 laptop. 😃👍
Fantastic video thankyou for posting this. I haven't upgraded yet to 11 but when IM forced to I`ll run through this video again and make changes.
Miss Leila is the unintentional ASMR i didnt know i needed. Such a soothing calm voice..
I am so grateful for people like you. God bless You!
thank you, just got window 11, so trying to navigate it.
Leila, I like your videos and respect your knowledge and judgement. What is your opinion on backups and what are your recommendations? Thank You. Richard
Many thanks, using my laptop for Photoshop so I want to use as much as possible of it resources for it only. ....and glad you are in Austria!...I'm moving there :)
This was great! I thought it would be a waste of time but I ended up subscribing. Thank you.
Excellent video!! Easy to follow (unlike most self-help videos!) I cherish my privacy and security. I feel more confident about these areas having viewed/instituted her suggestions. Well done, Leila! PS I have shared with friends and also subscribed.
it is better to read articles on specialized sites. this way it's easier to follow the instructions and maybe copy them into a text file. or copy commands into the command prompt.
I can't thank you enough! You have been the only You Tube Babe who I actually enjoyed watching. Professional, concise, pleasant, understandable and lovely to watch! Stickin' it to Microsoft has never been more enjoyable. Thank You!
Thank you :)
i wish after some major update, these settings wont turn it self on again.
Kudos to you, great job!! Probably can't agree with the Block Apps settings though
Leila - Great Video. Windows 11 23h2 has some additional settings other than the ones you showed. Recommend updating your video to reflect these new settings. One was in Personalisation > Start- There are more than three settings now that you can turn off. Bill
I enjoy your clear, concise and well-paced content. I would never search for all this info on my own. Thank You.
I appreciate that!
Great Thank you! - I switched to Mac, just to keep more Privat imo
Excellent review!
Beauty and brains, great instructor too!!!
No one gives a Sheet about windows 11 ... had to. Love your vids.
