Same i got one a couple months ago and i absolutely love it i traded in a gen 4 17 and i got it to begin with bc i like the grip better than the 19 and this is perfect its the best of both worlds for me and i didnt have to pay very much at all after trading in my 17 for it and man these have way better triggers than the gen 4 as well
Picking mine up today....Absolutely adore my Gen5 17...This one is especially badass!!! Can’t wait to put in some range time with it. Shot it today. Just a couple mags.....FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!
I've been through all of the models in 9mm since the Gen 2 and EDC'd a majority of them for a time but switched away from Glocks a couple years ago. I picked one up blue label today I had never held a 45 before and had honestly given up following the new releases but instantly I knew this was the best one yet as soon as I picked it up!
My favorite Glock is my 19X and its a great open carry gun so I can see the appeal for officers (which is what the G45 was created for since they cant carry the tan G19x). I came across a game warden last season carrying a G45 and think its the perfect choice (unless you are in bear country lol). A lot of cops around here carry G31s though (i just ask in public cuz im curious).
Nice review.I handled my first 45 today at my local gun shop.In one word.Impressed.With the trigger ,front serrations, slight magwell, even the orange followers on the mags !!
The G45 is probably the only Glock I would ever purchase due to the features you described. I'm definitely not a Glock guy and I will not disparage the brand. The reputation speaks for itself.
I’m the content owner of a Glock 45. To me it’s the best of Glocks 17 & 19. I previously owned a Gen 4 Glock 19 over time I found the grip indexing to be annoying and found my self shifting it around in my hand to get a comfortable grip. I too like the “polymid” grip texturing. I like the front serrations. The 5.5 pound trigger is noticeably stiffer than the 4.5 lb trigger in the Gen 3 Glock 34 that I’ve purchased recently. The break is cleaner. I like the very noticeable reset. For me I think that this G 45 and I are going to be range buddies just as the Mossberg 590SP 12 gauge shotgun that sits in my gun safe and I are!
My first handgun purchase was an HK VP9, it felt perfect in my hand and I now own four variants of the VP9. I recently decided to buy a Glock because everybody else thinks Glock is the greatest thing to ever happened to a firearm and having more popular firearm will increase magazine compatibility. I finally settled on 45 because I found that one to be the most comfortable and easier to adapt to compared to the HK VP9. I had the slide milled to mount the same Green Dot on my VP9s. After installing it's suppressor and running two full magazines through it right out of the box I had a hole big enough in the target at 15yrds to put my fist through. I like the features with the exception of the base plate of the magazine which I will have to switch out so I will be compatible with the other generation magazines. Although I don't think it's equal in quality or performance with any of my HK VP9s I think it's the best model Glock has put out in a while.

The gen 5 trigger does seem to be a little better than the previous versions. I had wondered if that was just in my head though. 😀. Good to know that there are others that think so too.
6:20 Tiny ninjas and chainsaws? No way! That’s awesome! I’m definitely getting one now then! What other colors besides black? I see you have a Coyote brown there.
I like it a lot. As you stated I think it’s the best combination of balance. It’s a perfect combination of lighter weight due to what is essentially a G17 frame and a G19 slide. In a lot of ways it’s a 17 round Glock 19 and I’m a huge fan of the G19. The trigger is smooth, the front slide serrations are a nice touch, the grip is solid and the overall look of the gun is outstanding. I’m a bit annoyed with the magazine interchangeability of the Gen 5 magazines but other than that I think this model along with the G19X are two of the best Glocks ever produced
Agreed! I like my new G45 right out of the box. I enjoy most of mine (gen 5- 19s, gen 3- 23 and gen 4-27) but the G45 feels better. I only have a couple hundred rounds through it so far but A few slight modifications, I think this is going to be my go to? Sorry 27.I already have another G 45 on the way just in case it’s true love
Yea, I just bought myself the CZ P10C. The trigger is phenomenal. For me it's better all round and was between that and the G19, then of course as I bought it, the G45 gets released. Would have definitely been a contender, but I still prefer the look and feel of the CZ
Hi KS. I picked up a G45 with Ameriglo sights yesterday. I only put one box through it, but it feels really, really good. Thanks for the video as always. Cheers!
Just picked up a G45. I’m no Glock fanboy, but I have to admit this is the best Glock I’ve owned. The G17 frame with the G19 slide is perfect. Softest shooting Glock. The flared magwell and the lack of that awkward hump on the 19X magwell made the G45 better for me over the 19X.
I put a Taren Tactical Ultimate connector in my Glock 45... With the factory connector the trigger pull was 5.5 lbs, with the Taren Tactical Ultimate connector the trigger pull was reduced by 1.25 lbs... It's now a 4.25 lb trigger... Perfect !!!...
I had the 19x and i liked it well enough but I sold it to a friend. I am considering the g45. I have Gen 1 all the way to gen 5 and i like all of them. So true about shooting. Some days i am dead on and some day's ....... Super review
Thank you very much James! You’ve got an impressive Glock collection. Hang on to those early ones! They will only go up in value. Yeah, the bad shooting days keep us humble, lol. Cheers brother!
There are so many videos on this, but I saw you had the most views from my first swipe. Let's be honest, no one has time to watch all G45 videos. Okay, I'm strapping in and hoping your video was worth the view. Thanks in advance for making the video, brother.
Great! This is what I was waiting for to move from my G19g4. I use 17mags in my 19 with a Xgrip extender and Talon grips to help fill in the finger grooves. This does all that right out of the box!
Which one did you end up getting? My choice at the store a couple months ago was either the G45 or the G19x. I went with the G19x since it looks so much cooler, has night sights and 2 of the 19 round mags with the 17 round mag (ended up getting a few more 17 rounders though since the flush fit is easier to carry.
Always loved glocks but this one was something from out of my dream 😁 never I ever thought they would made this after 19x. Because I love that black look and front serrations. Makes it look more badass
I bought my 19X as a field/hunting gun, my G45 is going to be one of my EDC guns, I’m 6’2” and 250lbs, so I can carry a larger gripped gun pretty easily. It will take turns with my Colt Commander as a carry gun.
Thanks for another great video KS. First one about the G45 I've seen. Just became aware of the new model in the last couple of days. Probably because I live in a vacuum... I've been waiting for this model (sort of a "black 19X"). Liked the 19X but just couldn't get ready for the color. Now I'm ready to "pull the trigger" on this one.
Shot the 45 at a range the other day, first Glock i've ever shot, most of my shooting is on DA/SA hammer fired guns, but I picked this up and shot one mag through it, it was comfortable to shoot right off the bat, all shots were on target and pretty well grouped @ 7 yards. Might be my first Glock purchase.
Good review! Still using my gen 2 G17 for house gun, and G36 for EDC since 2005. Using Trijicon sights on both, have had to replace them ×2 due to tritium dimming over time. Recoil springs changed out due to wear. Ball ammo for range use, good JHP for carry and shoot that up every 2 years and replace with new ammo. Buy it with spare change that accumulates😎
Sold my 19X and purchased a G45, no regrets. 19X should of been what the G45 is and what kills the 19X is the fact that you can't use other Glock mags. G45 plus Overwatch Precision TAC trigger and you have a winner. As always, nice review~
Good review and I have to admit that you got me to think this might be the one to get me to try a Glock again, especially since I really want a Ruger PC Carbine and they come with that Glock magwell. But only for about a minute. Then I remembered that what I never got used to in the 13 years I had my G19 was something that none of those little improvements can fix: the weird grip angle and feel (for me, I understand that and will stipulate that Glock makes a great functioning gun). I guess I’ll put off buying that PCC until some enterprising company makes a P320 or M&P magwell. Can’t believe they are not already on the market. Could it be that difficult? Still, good review!
I researched xd, Glock, cz, s&w m&p and a few others for weeks. Went down today and shot rentals for all of these. 50 rounds each for g19, m&p 2.0, g43, cz p-07, xd in 9mm and a cz-p 10 from another shooter there at the range. The g19 was the best in my opinion except for the trigger. I was really let down on the Glock trigger to tell the truth. A guy at the gun shop suggested the g45 and I tried the trigger. I was really surprised that it was so much better than the other glocks. Not as much take up and a more consistent break. The larger handgrip was better for me than the g19. I’ve got extra large hands. Literally, my hands barely fit in XL gloves. I bought the g45 it and ran 250 rounds through it there on the spot. It is great for me. Plenty of real estate for my hands. Much better trigger than the other glocks. Reliable and accurate like Glock should be. Front serrations on the slide which I use more than the back ones. 17 round mags...3 of them with this gun. Very comfortable to shoot and a lot of fun. I will be adding new sights but otherwise I think I’m really going to enjoy this gun.
Yeah I got the 45 even though they had a 19 in stock at the store as well. This is my first handgun and I don't exactly know how I want a gun to feel, but even so, I did not like the feel of my pinky half way on the grip and half on the magazine on the 19. I almost like the shape of the 19 grip better, but just did not feel right with the pinky not being fully on the grip. Plus the 45 was a MOS and it was only $60 more than the non MOS 19.
I like it! I just picked up a Gen 5 34 that has the forward serrations and no half moon cutout. But the 19X is my favorite, to me it just shoots that much better than the rest. So I’d like to add a 45, but I’d rather have seen at least an MOS option for it. Great review as always! I guess in the end, I need to add a black M9A3 to go with my FDE version, so I need a 45 to go with my 19X. Thanks for spending my money!
I own 17's and 19's just shot a 45 the other day. In my opinion Glock did the exact opposite of what many people expected. The 45 is very shootable but less concealable than 19 which kinda puts it in 17 territory to me.
I agree. I've considered getting a 45. But I already have a 17. If they had went the other direction, I would probably pick one up. Though I don't imagine it would feel as well balanced, as the 45 has that in spades. If I hadn't already picked up a 17, I would be in on the 45 though.
@@J.Wick. I feel the exact same way. I would like one but in a tactical sense I don’t have a need or use for one. I would just get a 19x just because of the trials behind it and how it will age in history.
I’m contemplating sending my G45 for a complete build (I currently have 4 AA Guns) although I’m not sure I’d need to do the trigger on a G45? How is it working out for you? Big difference?
I love it !!! It's comfortable in my hand. It is also GREAT for those who have large hands. You WILL find it a GOOD fit. GLOCK DID A GREAT JOB WITH THIS ONE.
I agree about the gen 5's...accept if you're a lefty like me. It was HUGE to finally have the slide release on the right side. The second day it came out I traded in my gen 4 and haven't looked back since
@Armed Rebellion47 - The .357 Sig benefits from the shorter (4) inch barrel while giving you a full size grip for better control and higher capacity. Makes sense if you think 🤔 about it........
I said if they made the 19X in black I was going to buy it, and even though this is technically not a 19X I will be buying one. Thank you for your review. Now fo my rant... I will get one, but I will call it a Black 19X, or a 19XB, because telling my friends I just bought a Glock 45 will become tiresome explaining it’s the new 9mm. No, not the 43. The 45, the new 9mm. No, not the 19X in FDE, the black one with the flared magwell and front serrations. No, not the Gen5 19 with serrations, the Glock 45. *sigh* yeah.
After the Gen3 I got away from Glocks for a while awaiting the Gen5. When the first Gen5's came out I was NOT impressed and stayed way. I recently picked a Gen5 G45 with TruGlow H3 sights. I'm here to say this weapon has brought me back to Glock in a big way. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my G45. I have added a 3.5lbs connector and reduced power safety plunger and that brought my trigger pull down from the high 5 lbs to just over 4 lbs. Now it's perfect for me and it's my EDC. I love it. This is actually like the Gen5.2 but whatever, I love it.
The Gen 5 Glocks are basically homework that was done at the very last minute. The Glock 45 that student given a second chance to re-do his entire homework and with a dateline extension. It's like Glock suddenly forgot how to make a proper firearm...
I have usually been "meh" when it comes to Glock, but I love the 19X and have actually started carrying it replacing the Beretta (a review on my 19X will be forthcoming). As for the Glock 45, no lanyard loop, so no way :D
Honest question, what's point of the lanyard loop, I've honestly been trying to find an answer to this mystery...lol Really anticipating on buying the 19x, so seriously help me out here lol
In reality, I am sure it was a military requirement that harkens back to the old days where the gun was physically attached to the holster and you. I was making a joke about it's current uselessness in my OP.
Another great review KS . Can't wait to shoot this one . Glock will sell alot of these. You should do late night talk radio . Again really good review, thanks
I got a Glock 19 gen 3 and a G45 mos and I can say that I absolutely love the g45 the most. Recoil mitigation due the long grip, front serrations, mos for optics which I have the sds holosun X2 and a tlr7a as flashlight I love it, it doesn’t need anything else wonderful crispy trigger and wonderful mag release it come even with a very well made magwell. I do recommend it one hundred percent for EDC or duty weapon perfect fit for full duty…. I can’t recommend it enough
New Glock announcement, year 3020. "And I present to you the new Glock 19,000!" * Removes velvet cloth from a table to reveal a Glock with the exact same features, looks, and safety mechanism, as a Glock 19 except for one small unnoticeable thing. "OMG! The exact same pistol I bought for the past 40 years! I'm so moist right now! Take my money!" - Every single Glock fanatic.
Another Great video KS . I don't really want this version , but I am Geeting the new MOS with the front Slide Serretions . But then Again 😉 I want a Glock 19X and then I would end up getting The 45 . I retract my First Statement ! Who am I fooling " I AM A GLOCK ADDICT " . I'm Buying Them All . TOO MY WIFE "Sorry Honey " Were getting Four More Glocks 17 & 19 new MOS Versions , the new 45 and the 19X . I Am A Fanboy And I Don't Care . Here comes the Hate ..... 😂😂😂 I Want every Glock , Every CZ , and Every M&P 2.0 version . Merry Christmas too Meee .😁
The G 45 changed the features I don't like about Gen 5. I prefer it over my Gen 5. It should be the new standard. Maybe naming it 45 was not that brightest idea though. Thanks for quality demo
Yeh I'm new to guns and I was like oh kool 45 acp or whatever. Hey man do you recomend this glock for my first ever pistol or 19 . 19x or some other glock IM LEFTY BTW. THANKS
I also like the idea of better trigger sights marksmen barrel and a reliable pistol that can carry and be used for home defense and range thanks man your feedback is greatly appreciated
I am not totally sold yet but it's a step in the right direction. Great video as always. Guess I will have to continue waiting for a milled down slide like on the 30s for the full size 21. I better not hold my breath lol
Hello Mr. kS, Love the model 45, very nice fireman. I do which Glock would spice it up going forward. Love the front serrations look, but would like to see a change in design. Great minds think alike. Be well
One good thing RE: plastic frames is when it touches your skin , it's not too hot or too cold VS AL or steel . The 3rd gen mod 19 is not Perfect , I put night sights , trigger bar & grip sleeve on it , for the money , it's as good as any and better than most . For a beginner , small person , one gun person , this is a great choice . A 5" with a 19 frame would work also . The fact they will take larger mags makes the short frames very useful . RE: G45 , as a quick back up duty gun ( for a long gun ) , looks like it would be fine .
Very interesting thoughts Dan and I think many agree about the longer slide on the 19 frame. Perhaps we’ll see that next. Thank you and cheers brother!
@@ckim6400 fair enough. I recently shot a CZ was pretty impressed. The stock sights were great. I also have a g 17, 26, 19, and 43 lol..heck why not the redundancy! Take care
Davey PRP I get it! I have a hard time being able to shoot all my choices as it is. And ammo, lol I'm shooting over a case a month. I really could use a 19 just because. Take care and shoot often! :)
New to your videos and liked this one. Do you show more of your shots at the range. In this video I would have liked to see more of that along with your narrative
Thank you very much and welcome to the channel! Actually, I used to include a lot more shooting but the overwhelming feedback from people was to reduce it. Cheers!
I’ve been carrying Glocks since ‘98 and have had a plethora of models. The 45 definitely rates in my top 3. It’s a hard choice between my gen 4 19 and it though. But would I change anything about it? Nope! Fits perfectly into my Glock collection. If ya love it, awesome! If ya hate it, awesome! Just be smart and carry on!!! OneLove...
I want a 9mm 45 😋. No really, I think it’s a nice move for Glock! I agree, the only thing I change on my Glocks are the triggers. Great review as always brother.
Great review. I currently have a G19 Gen 5 that is my EDC and one that I have been training and shooting exclusively since May when I first bought it. I have since bought a G17 Gen 5 as a home defense / night stand gun. Both have Trijicon HD sights and I shoot them well. Although the new G45 has some cool factors, like the G19X, I can’t see what I would use the G45 for at this point that my G19 and G17 fill right now. But good video presentation. Thanks.
Im very proud to be part of the Glock 45 group. Love it so far, fits and shoots perfect for me.
Good! Best of luck with it! I like it, too. I may pick one up soon!

Great review. I just picked up a G45 last week and I’ve been raving about it ever since. I have not a single negative thing to say about it.
Thank you! It’s a great gun indeed. Cheers!

Shot it today at centerfire olathe, felt more accurate with it than my g19 gen4. Loved it.
Love my Gen 5 G19, love my Gen 5 G45 even more!
Oh that’s it. You sold me on it. I’m getting it now! You’re the best salesman! 😁
I’m looking into my first Glock and I’m really leaning towards the G45. Thanks for the review
I've also found that the flared magwell actually aids in the security of my grip on the gun. The extra printing is absolutely negligible IMO.
I agree about the magwell! Thank you and cheers!
The G45 is probably the only Glock I would ever purchase due to the features you described. I'm definitely not a Glock guy and I will not disparage the brand. The reputation speaks for itself.
I think it’s the right combo of features as well! Thank you and cheers!
I really enjoy my 45 its been a great piece, and thanks for your analysis
That trigger on that 19x is awesome.

What the gen 5 should have been from the start
I think you may be on to something! Thank you and cheers!
Couldn't agree more
How about better sights and trigger instead of the same crappy ones.

Front serrations aren't just for press checks. They also work great for racking the slide.
That’s true! Thank you and cheers!
Hmmm no I wouldn’t want my hand in the front racking a slide hand can slip and Potentially blow your fingers off
You sound passionate lol

I still like the G19 my first choice, in all gen's I love the 19
I love this one. Perfect size, perfect balance, great one hand shooter, they really got it right on this one
It’s good to see Glock making tweaks in the right direction, but I’m still leaning towards a CZ.
I agree! You know I’m a huge fan of CZ. They are tough to beat. Thank you and cheers!
Yea, I just bought myself the CZ P10C. The trigger is phenomenal. For me it's better all round and was between that and the G19, then of course as I bought it, the G45 gets released. Would have definitely been a contender, but I still prefer the look and feel of the CZ
Bought a CZ. Then proceeded to buy G17, G27 and now G45.
Nuff said.

Damn you can communicate. Speech without like or uh uh uh uh is incredible. Thank you! I am subscribed. And the G45 is next in my arsenal!
Bought this in the mos version and couldn’t be happier... added Trijicon RMR and AmeriGlo suppressor night sights and it made it that much better
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
_ Red ordered my MOS version today. Definitely going to add the RMR at 3.25. Can’t wait!!
Best glock in the lineup. Now all glock has to do now is make a modular system so the shooter can mix and match for specific carrying applications.
A modular system would be awesome! Thank you and cheers!
Agree! 🖒😎

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a G45. From everything I've seen and read I'm seriously thinking about buying one for EDC.
Picked mine up Monday. 200 rounds only so far, but I’m impressed. I’m a Sig guy and after purchasing this 45, I’ll have another.
That’s awesome! Thank you and rock chalk!
Gen 5 45 is my favorite it actually looks smaller than the 19x. I know it's not but it just looks better
Just got my first piece and went with the 45. Extremely happy I got it! Haven’t figured out a great way to carry it in the summer though
There are so many videos on this, but I saw you had the most views from my first swipe. Let's be honest, no one has time to watch all G45 videos. Okay, I'm strapping in and hoping your video was worth the view. Thanks in advance for making the video, brother.
Okay. Subscribed. There's something about your presentation that really stands out to me compared with the usual UA-cam gun channels. Great work!
Thank you very much! That means a lot. Welcome to the channel and cheers!
@ Supa - I disagree. With Covid shaping our lives these days, some of us have more time than ever to watch gun vid's... lol!
Have you seen what Hickok45 did on the G45? It's definitely worth a look.
Great! This is what I was waiting for to move from my G19g4. I use 17mags in my 19 with a Xgrip extender and Talon grips to help fill in the finger grooves. This does all that right out of the box!
Indeed it does! Thank you and cheers!
I’m a Glock fanboy and have watched a lot of PewTube reviews and this by far is one of my top favs. Just gained a subscriber!
Nice Review Brother, I already have the 19X so no need for the 45. TFS Carry On
I bought my 19X as a field/hunting gun, my G45 is going to be one of my EDC guns, I’m 6’2” and 250lbs, so I can carry a larger gripped gun pretty easily. It will take turns with my Colt Commander as a carry gun.
jimhans1 Good Deal, Carry On
That’s awesome!
Thanks Big J! I hear you on the 19x. It’s a grea gun. Cheers!
I got the 17 gen5. Haven't even shot it yet
At first I scoffed at the G45, but yesterday I brought one home. The G45 is pretty much my perfect pistol.
Great Review!
Congrats on the pickup! I think you’ll love it. Thank you and cheers!
Do you know if all G19 sights work on the G45? Thanks!
They sure do!
Thank you, Homeboy!
Anytime!
That’s awesome SPPG! So far, I’ve been impressed. I think you’ll enjoy it. Thank you and cheers brother!
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
I Love it! Only positve reviews so far...
So far, I am loving it! Thank you and cheers!
Thank you very much! I do agree that the 45 has the features I would have liked to have seen in the 19x. Cheers!
I totally get where you are coming from brother! As for the magwells, I think it’s all about demand. Perhaps some day! Thank you and cheers as always!
Great look at the G45, thanks for the honest review!
Thank you very much and happy to do it! Cheers!
I was thinking 19X until I saw this one!!! My next Glock
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
@@f1hotrod527 Interesting... It was just the reverse for me. Got my g45 $60 less than the g19
The 34 sounds awesome! An MOS 45 would have been very cool indeed. Thank you and cheers!
I got my Glock45 FS yesterday for my birthday. Can't wait for the 2 week background check to be done!!
Congrats! That’s awesome brother. Thank you and cheers!
G19 gen 5 mos is my all time favorite.
I wanted to move up to the 19 mos, but something tells me that glock will come up with an upgraded model in a yr.
I went with an Agency Trigger and I love it in this gun. The 45 is IMO the best 9mm Glock has ever made.
I’m contemplating sending my G45 for a complete build (I currently have 4 AA Guns) although I’m not sure I’d need to do the trigger on a G45? How is it working out for you? Big difference?
@@davidenriquez3464 Yes big difference over stock, just put one in my Gen 5 17 as well.
Glock 19x is hands down my favorite Glock
Then you will absolutely love the 45. Unless you like the slightly thinner grip. (The 19x is only thinner by a few mm)
I wasn't a big fan of the Glock Gen 3&4s but new 19 Gen 5 is a winner! I'm back to being a happy Glock owner.
That’s awesome Paul! Thank you and cheers brother!
I love it !!! It's comfortable in my hand. It is also GREAT for those who have large hands. You WILL find it a GOOD fit. GLOCK DID A GREAT JOB WITH THIS ONE.
Thanks for a great and thorough first look. Very well presented!
Thank you very much Justin! That means a lot coming from you brother. Cheers!
I like the Glock 45 no front mag cut out and has front slide serrations something they should have done a long time ago again Im liking it
I agree completely Taz! Thank you and cheers brother!
you as well take care and have a restful Sunday
Back at ya!
I agree about the gen 5's...accept if you're a lefty like me. It was HUGE to finally have the slide release on the right side. The second day it came out I traded in my gen 4 and haven't looked back since
Very good point about the left handed operation. Thank you and cheers!
45 Definitely the best Glock ever made! Hope they make a .357 Sig in this configuration, I’ll have 2
That would be nice.
@Armed Rebellion47 - The .357 Sig benefits from the shorter (4) inch barrel while giving you a full size grip for better control and higher capacity. Makes sense if you think 🤔 about it........
Got my 45 3 days ago. 2 sessions 250 rounds through it. Most comfortable gun out of the 21 handguns I have owned Accurate and concealable.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Definitely want to see the “if i could have only one” between this and the 19X. Notifications are on and I’m keeping my eyes peeled!
OK, will do! Thank you and cheers!
Would like to see this video also. But I have both and have made my decision.
Pa Park what's your decision? I'm trying to decide which one to buy. Leaning towards the 45 due to that weird lip by the mag plate on the 19x
HURT 1 I like them both but the 45 is my choice for the reason you stated.
Pa Park are the internals and triggers the same from what you can tell?
I feel like the 19X not taking gen 5 mags is more of a 19X problem rather than a gen 5 problem
Haha!! I can see that conversation becoming very complicated. Thank you and cheers!
It should have been the 19Xb
That's the truth! I have said the same thing to everyone I've talked about this purchase.
EXACTLY. 19XB it is.
Nice review. Agree that trigger is better on 19x than the Gen 4 /5. 👍
Indeed! Thank you and cheers!
I have never shot them, they seem to me they’re kindda disproportionate. What do you think?
It looks better than the 19X though!
I agree they look a little disproportionate but they are sweet shooters. Very well balanced for a Glock. Thank you and cheers Ricky!
It's similar to an L, not much different than a 17. 🤷♂️
I am 6'3 233 lbs. This gun and I are a perfect marriage. Great EDC for me, and a SUPER accurate and SMOOTH shooting pistol.
I have usually been "meh" when it comes to Glock, but I love the 19X and have actually started carrying it replacing the Beretta (a review on my 19X will be forthcoming). As for the Glock 45, no lanyard loop, so no way :D
The G19x is a great gun indeed brother. As for the lanyard loop, you can have mine, lol. Thank you and cheers brother!
It’s not a P320, so dropping it isn’t dangerous.
Honest question, what's point of the lanyard loop, I've honestly been trying to find an answer to this mystery...lol
Really anticipating on buying the 19x, so seriously help me out here lol
In reality, I am sure it was a military requirement that harkens back to the old days where the gun was physically attached to the holster and you. I was making a joke about it's current uselessness in my OP.
Also had a lot to do with calvary troops and pistols.
We watch all your videos. I think it’s cool how you seem to like all guns. Not just Glocks. Keep up the awesome videos!
Another great review KS . Can't wait to shoot this one . Glock will sell alot of these. You should do late night talk radio . Again really good review, thanks
Thank you very much Earl! It’s definitely worth checking out brother. As for radio, I’d be down for that! Cheers as always!
I would love to try out the reported “less recoil” due to lighter slide. Can I ran a Gen4 G19 Slide on a Gen5 G17 frame (almost a G19 or G45)?
And that's why it's a flatter better shooter, it finally all came together for me. Thanks for the comment!
I'm so glad to hear this since I just made it my first handgun purchase
New Glock announcement, year 3020.
"And I present to you the new Glock 19,000!"
* Removes velvet cloth from a table to reveal a Glock with the exact same features, looks, and safety mechanism, as a Glock 19 except for one small unnoticeable thing.
"OMG! The exact same pistol I bought for the past 40 years! I'm so moist right now! Take my money!" - Every single Glock fanatic.
It's like a Porsche frame. Once perfected no need for major changes. Just buy, enjoy and shut up hater 😂😂😂.
Just bought a Glock 45 MOS yesterday. Waiting on an Aimpoint Acro P2 to add to it and a Surefire X300 Ultra and it'll be ready to go!
Thank you Steven! No shame in being a Glock addict, lol. It sounds like a prosperous upcoming Christmas! Cheers brother!
The G 45 changed the features I don't like about Gen 5. I prefer it over my Gen 5. It should be the new standard.
Maybe naming it 45 was not that brightest idea though. Thanks for quality demo
I agree! Thank you and cheers!
Still like my G23 gen4 with all my conversion barrels.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Im sticking to gen 4 as well
.357 Sig and 9mm: three guns in one.
I am not totally sold yet but it's a step in the right direction. Great video as always. Guess I will have to continue waiting for a milled down slide like on the 30s for the full size 21. I better not hold my breath lol
Thank you very much D! Yeah, not sure about a 21 refresh but you never know. Cheers brother!
If i could only have one it would be the MOS 19
A great gun indeed CCC! Thank you and cheers brother!
@@KSGunGuy01 you get more for the money i feel. Justin Opinion
Well said!
Hopefully this is coming in mos
@@roscoepcoltrane23 i can give up two rounds to be more concealable
Hello Mr. kS,
Love the model 45, very nice fireman. I do which Glock would spice it up going forward.
Love the front serrations look, but would like to see a change in design. Great minds think alike.
Be well
Just put a 17 round magazine in a 19.
Always an option! Thank you and cheers!
GG - Good point...Good stuff...
garageguy879
Or a Taran/Hyve extension on the 15rd mag and ur gtg
Not with that stupid cut out for the mag.
Unless you buy Amend2 Glock 17 mags. Surprisingly they dont work either in the 19x.
Good review but if you had bought a Walther ppq, your review would have lasted 20 seconds bc it’s all every Glock is not.
I’ve had the PPQ and Q5 Match. Reviews are out on both. I like them but prefer others more. Thank you and cheers!
The longer grip frame intrigues me , as soon as things “open” up I’m gonna try one .
gerade bowden i have used it and its really comfortable, very very little recoil.
Making the right moves but still unimpressed to be honest
I am sure many will feel the same way. Thank you and cheers!
Please explain why this gun is pure perfection to some
I have the glock 45 and I honestly have no complaints.. it's comfortable, reliable. I use it for work and everyday carry.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Nothing thrilling, still had to change out the sights. Will I sell my G 17 for this or any other Glock? NO........
I personally like it but understand where you are coming from C. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Thank you and cheers!
Davey PRP I have a G-17 and a G-26, now I need? 19 with a 17 grip? LOL ...NO! There are a few CZ's I'd like better. :)
Cheers!
I really like the G45, I like it better than the G19X. Cool video!
Thank you very much! I'm glad this one is in 9mm. Seems to be the way of the market these days. Agreed about the triggers! Cheers!
Thanks.
Thank you! I totally understand. If you’ve filled the roles you need, probably not much reason to add more. Cheers!
