Hi, I have another question for you. Once you have setup for your pellets (A to E), would I be right in thinking that you would have select your setup by going into ballistics in the scope or can it be done via the app, if it can be done through the app, can you explain the procedure. Thanks.
@@cjoutdoors8264 so select ballistic profile in scope “A” in scope, the zero is already matched to the profile so just the one selection then select ballistic table? Not really understanding your last comment as you start with yes.
@@cjoutdoors8264I have figured out what you was saying. Select the profile then match the zero to the profile. I thought by zeroing to the letter of each profile it would be linked to each profile therefore all you would need to change would be the profile ie (A to E).
@@davidcarradice2866 Yes if it did that automatically it would be handy , I think this has been mentioned to Arken ,its possible a firmware upgrade may give us this in the future ,we'll have to wait and see but until then we need to remember to match them 👍
@@morganbilly417 Hi, you need bluetooth to send a ballistic table to save in ballistic table option , phone wifi is used to send a ballistic table to the onboard ballistic calculator, you can save 5 tables here. You can add tables to onboard ballistic calculator directly into scope ,no phone needed .
Hi, no I don't think you have too, zero is a fixed point , ballistics give you hold over and hold under above and below your zero ,they can move depending on what info you put in. Just make sure to match zero profile to ballistic profile
Would I be right in thinking that the reason for being able to store 5 different settings A to E would be for 5 different pellets? If that is the case then I must be doing something wrong as if I setup for 3 different pellets I find that only the last stored zero has been kept. On the same subject, you have 3 different settings, do you have to upload the settings for the pellet you are going to use before using it, how else is the scope going to know which pellet you have loaded. I hope you can understand what I am trying to relay to you.
Hi, yes A to E will save 5 different pellets , maybe you need to swap to a different rifle and use the pellet it likes. Each pellet will have its own zero profile or you may use the same pellet but with a different zero distance, each time you change your pellet profile you need to change your zero profile to match . eg ,load " A" ballistic profile then go to zero profile and select the profile you used to zero that pellet at the distance you inputted into the ballistic profile. does this help !

@@davidcarradice2866 I guess you've used ABC so if you make a table in the app send it to D or E (empty slot) if you send to a used slot it will overwrite it. You can only do this with WIFI connected. the option to save there is only available when WIFI is connected. to use these "ballistic calculator" needs to be selected. Just make sure you select the slot (ABCDE) you want to use. When "ballistic table" is selected the scope uses the last table sent by Bluetooth. The big difference WIFI and Bluetooth. WIFI 5 slots/tables , from Bluetooth 1 slot /table . hope this helps ,I'm trying to make a vid on transferring ,I just keep having problems with trying to record with two cameras at the same time 😂

@@davidcarradice2866 Not sure on what your saying there, the tables are the information the scope needs to work out the holdover/hold under .A B C the name. The App in my opinion is a better way of uploading to the scope because you can give it a proper name. Nothing wrong with you trying it out you cant break it :)
Hi , no I didn't take a shot , this was done in my back garden, not an area I can shoot in. Did this vid purely to show the app process. I have zeroed this way in the field and it does work. Will say that if I do need to adjust zero in the field I'll use the in scope zero mode.
It definately works.as.it has been explained as i just followed video word for word and at the end put the 9 pellets left in magazine pellet on pellet thru a 5p size bull at 30 yrds, bang on@@cjoutdoors8264

Hi, yes select to ballistic profile and the zero profile to match in scope. Can't be selected with app , so you can go shooting without your phone :)

Do you enter the ballistic information for the round used before you zero ? Seems like everything would change if you changed the ammunition

You didn't check to see if it was zero you didn't even take a shot after going through all of that or did you
