Hi Charlie, I just wanted to say that I have now got my Zulus up and running. By following your series of videos I was able to set up the BC and I'm well chuffed. Although mine is the DNT version so there are a few slight changes from the Arken procedure, but all in all it wasn't too bad thanks to your tutorials. Alls left now is to fine tune it at different ranges. I can't thank you enough pal for the help you have been. ATVB from Northern Ireland... Billy.

Great Videos mate i have been searching for a simple straight forward guide to set up the zulus and these are the best i have found. So much so i have suggested them to people on several airgun forums
@@cjoutdoors8264 Let me ask, I tried playing with this last night and I'm having a heck of a time connecting to Bluetooth, WIFI is not a problem, is Bluetooth the only way to send the ballistics table to the scope?
@@marku123 yes only Bluetooth for table, I also find Bluetooth can be troublesome at time , for me it can sometimes drop the connection and I have to reconnect . If its bad a phone reboot does help and scope off and back on.
I emailed DNT today to ask if you could switch profiles for ballistics within the zulas! Now watching your video I've got my answer 😁.. Top man thanks..
Thanks for the video, you chose to show the ballistic info for every meter. If I set the table to show only every 10 meters, will the scope still able to calculate accurately on whatever range the rangefinder picks up (within the end distance)? Thanks again.
When you sent a ballistic table over (the one that shows in the version) and your setting is to “ballistic table”. How do you assign the X and Y zero coordinates to it? Thanks.
Hi, go to your "Zero Reticle " option in menu and set your zero at the distance your using , make a note of the letter ie A B C so you know which zero profile matches ballistic table ,then if you add / change the table you can setup a different zero on a different Letter if you want . eg zero A might be 25yds zero B could be 35yds.
Great vids mate but I’m stuck at when going to ballistic table my aero plane is not blue even though Bluetooth is connected? I can’t get the ballistic table across to the scope. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Using an iPhone if that makes any difference..
Hi, thanks , things to try , reboot phone, check phone has latest Bluetooth updates, don't know anything else to try , last possible is to uninstall app and reinstall , if you do this make a note of the ballistic settings you have entered , uninstalling the app you may loose these settings .
@ thanks for the reply. I literally just had a breakthrough with it all uploading but over Wi-Fi. Does this make any sense as I thought it needed Bluetooth for this. I’ve checked it out on targets and it is now showing the holdover point. The ballistic table is now showing in the versions in rhe settings in the menu which I couldn’t get to do on Bluetooth. Either way your video has saved me !

@@bozo43 yes it can be a little frustrating at times, had mine nearly a year now ,had a couple of glitches on updates but got them sorted . Its worth the effort once setup , it does what I want 👍

Hi ,thanks for saying that ,I appreciate it 🙂. If the arken mount is working for you stick with it , my arken came with a 35moa and was so far off and they weren't selling the full selection of mounts then. So I got the eaglevision , its ok 😶 it can be a real pain to set , I've never got it exact ,always have to finish with scope zero. If I could clamp the rifle down tight it would be easier to set . I always check zero out of the case, it does seem to move if its a tight fit in the case . I've got it in a new rifle case now will see tomorrow if its held zero. If it doesn't I'm thinking I'll get a 20moa zulus . What mount are you using on your HW100 ?
@cjoutdoors8264 thanks for the reply mate, I'm using the 35moa, I thought maybe the eaglevision would help do away with the reticle shift from base mag to 7.5, followed all your instructions earlier to set the dnt app and noticed the mount you were using
@@aranhw1007 👍 eaglevision does work but it's a faff to set. There is the ZB pro universal , not used one and read mixed reviews about it ,just another option .

Morning Charlie. Managed to get the velocity figures for my fac R12, put them all into the ballistic calculation. I was unsure of what Bc figure the jsb exact Diablo 15.89g in .22 was so put it in as 0.027. I’ve tested the rifle at 10, 30, 50 and 70 yards and is absolutely bob on. However I’ve since stumbled over the pellet list with in the Arken app and the Bc for the 15.89 Jsb is 0.32. Should I alter it or leave alone. I’ve some 21g pellets to add to profile also. Videos are most helpful 👍
@@cjoutdoors8264 thanks. It does seem to change the ballistic values in the table quite a bit. If I download the DNT app will I then have to re load the firmware and ballistic figures from scratch? I’m not technically minded so apologies if question seems a bit dumb, it’s one reason I love these step by step guides.
@@philipasbury9173 Yes ,you'll have to reload every thing and the new firmware to scope will remove all your set zeros , make note of your values in the ballistic table, zero distance, scope height, BC and velocity are the important ones , also make a not of your zero values in the scope ,X and Y and just put the values back in after update . would be useful if at that end you used the LRF at a couple of distances to see the hold over/hold under to check the table and the red mark on the reticle. Mine is with DNT for a bit....the new firmware borked it. Engineers want to look and see if it can be fixed.

Hi, so your sending to ballistic table using Bluetooth and the name is not showing. Try rebooting phone , if that doesn't help you may have to uninstall the app and reinstall ,if you do that , copy all the data figures you entered ,you may have to put them back into the app . I had this problem and think app reinstall fixed it.
Hi, no difference in getting the aiming solution , difference is if you have inputted ballistic tables into ballistic tables A B C D E , you can change the table your using in scope by just selecting the profile you need ,no need for the phone. With ballistic table ,only one ballistic table available at a time ,so to change this you have to send a new table from the phone.
I get the same thing , ballistic algorithm not activated, also the the ballistic table name.is not being updated in system settings. I've followed the video step by step.
@@johndenton1775 Hi, are you sure sure you have selected the correct ballistic option .ie ballistic calculator/ballistic table to match the table you want to use. I have noticed that when you send a table from the app to ballistic table option that was saved in the scope (so a duplicate to table ) it wont accept the same name. If you know its not the setting you selected then you may have to uninstall the app and reinstall , You will probably have to put your data back in 🙁 so make a note of them, sorry not much help on this
Hi Charlie. I’m nearly complete, all thanks to you, but can you please help me with a question? On the ballistic calculator do I have to adjust the bc (shooting low beyond zero range so I need to increase bc) on the app and send it to the scope or can I simply adjust it on the scope and save? Hi, did you create the table in scope or on the phone and send ! , if you've sent from phone you should be able to edit it in scope and not have to use phone , Iv not tried doing that but should be doable .
@@cjoutdoors8264 Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I created it on my phone and sent it to the scope. When using the ballistic calculator at beyond the zero range it shot low so I increased the bc in increments directly to the scope several times and saved it each time. However, it made no difference to the point of impact so I started from scratch on my phone and entered a slightly increased bc for the pellet from the original figure provided on the app and sent it to the scope. It’s bang on now BUT I don’t think I selected ballistic calculator on the scope when I’d increased the bc direct to the scope and took further shots. I believe I may have left it on the ballistic data settings. Would this account for the POI not changing? If so this may help others with the same problem. I’m one of many chaps on here who really appreciate your help with setting up the Zulus. Thank you.

Hi :) When DNT took over they included the 5 stored option in the new software and the WIFI connection for sending them , Bluetooth was the original method for sending a table , why have both now I don't know ,I only use the stored tables now.

My table is blue on yards but saying metres through my scope have I done something wrong ?
Hi, your scope LRF measuring in meters ? ,maybe go into menu on scope and select "distance units" change that to YDS .

Hi, 👍 use WiFi to save to ballistic calculator A to E scope stored memory and Bluetooth for saving to ballistic table only the one table to use there.

Why have the option of Calculator or Table? Calculator uses one of the 5 stored and Table used the one you sent via Bluetooth. Why?
