HI, excellent 🙂,great rifle the NP-02 ,I have a .177 ,accurate and with a big shot count 👍. What do think of the ThermNight.

@@cjoutdoors8264 I like it... The LRF/BC seem to work really well once tweaked using the method in this video. IIRC BC varies with range so I guess you average it out over the working range you want. Pity it"s 4/3 format (Probably due to the thermal) which means fov is a bit tight but at night I use the thermal as the main window which is wide enough with the NV as the PIP window. I have the 940 nm IR option and it seems pretty stealthy... I have some 10000mah power banks that I fit to a piece of picatinny rail on the side of the scope and they run it all night. If you try using the LRF when the battery level drops the whole scope switches off . I stream the video to a 10.2" tablet so I don't have to stare into the scope all night. There's about a 1 second latency so it's no good for taking the shot. My previous NV was a Sytong HT-66 behind Vicoptics C3 so a bit of a step up. I built and insulated hotbox target and use foil backed targets to zero the Day/NV first the impact point then shows up as a hotspot to zero the thermal - currently have a 10mm group with 6 shots Day/NV and 6 shots thermal at 25m .

@@PeterSmith-n1y 👍 BC can seem to drift at longer ranges ,I sometimes wounder if it the pellets! I just use them straight out the tin . At times there on the mark sometimes not . Zulus will do the same on low battery, just switch off , it does give you a battery at 20% warning ,at that point I should just change the battery. Thanks for taking the time for your write up , sounds like you got a great setup ,you've put some effort into it 👍 . You should make a little vid of it 🙂 . DNT seem to be going in the right direction with there scopes

@@redric6484 is your phone not seeing the zulus , have you checked phone up to date , rebooted the phone , I did have a problem on transferring a named file and had to uninstall/reinstall the app , you might lose your inputted date if you did this , keep a copy of all date you input

In the video your shot hit above the Ballistically calculated new point of aim and you RAISED the BC. In your instructions via text you say to LOWER the BC. Im very confused as to which it is?

Hi, so your sending to ballistic table using Bluetooth and the name is not showing. Try rebooting phone , if that doesn't help you may have to uninstall the app and reinstall ,if you do that , copy all the data figures you entered ,you may have to put them back into the app . I had this problem and think app reinstall fixed it.

@@aranhw1007 hi, if you've saved in ballistic calculator ie, ABCDE, you can do it in scope, if you've sent to ballistic table then think have to use phone

@@Bliblablubb08 Hi, are you talking about the eagle vision mount , its adjustable in all directions ,if its the mount with the scope you could shim between scope and mount .

Hi, did you create the table in scope or on the phone and send ! , if you've sent from phone you should be able to edit it in scope and not have to use phone , Iv not tried doing that but should be doable .

@@cjoutdoors8264 Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I created it on my phone and sent it to the scope. When using the ballistic calculator at beyond the zero range it shot low so I increased the bc in increments directly to the scope several times and saved it each time. However, it made no difference to the point of impact so I started from scratch on my phone and entered a slightly increased bc for the pellet from the original figure provided on the app and sent it to the scope. It’s bang on now BUT I don’t think I selected ballistic calculator on the scope when I’d increased the bc direct to the scope and took further shots. I believe I may have left it on the ballistic data settings. Would this account for the POI not changing? If so this may help others with the same problem. I’m one of many chaps on here who really appreciate your help with setting up the Zulus. Thank you.

@@simonwillett9672 yes ,having it on ballistic data/table the changes wouldn't be used. It's easy to pick the wrong option , Iv done the same, I always check now . Glad you got it sorted ,can take some effort but worth it 👍 . Glad that these vids have been helpful 🙂 and appreciate you saying so 👍

@@morganbilly417 Hi, you need bluetooth to send a ballistic table to save in ballistic table option , phone wifi is used to send a ballistic table to the onboard ballistic calculator, you can save 5 tables here. You can add tables to onboard ballistic calculator directly into scope ,no phone needed .

Hi, no difference in getting the aiming solution , difference is if you have inputted ballistic tables into ballistic tables A B C D E , you can change the table your using in scope by just selecting the profile you need ,no need for the phone. With ballistic table ,only one ballistic table available at a time ,so to change this you have to send a new table from the phone.

Morning , that's not good, I don't have any other suggestions for you try .You could message DNT ,contact is in the app ,tell them your problem and phone version/operating system , see if they have any clues !.

The phone does see the scope in Bluetooth, the Bluetooth icon turns blue, however the paper plane does not to blue on the ballistic table page?

@@dzl2716 you haven't got the same name in table setting have you ! (the Bluetooth one) I tested a table then tried to save in calculator and it wouldn't save the name .

@@dzl2716 I think the only difference in the scopes is the firmware , sorry not much help for you on this , if you cant sort it you may have to uninstall the app and reinstall ,if you do this you may loose the info you've entered into the app , so make a note of the settings you've entered. I have seen that apple phones can have glitches with the app .

@@marku123 yes only Bluetooth for table, I also find Bluetooth can be troublesome at time , for me it can sometimes drop the connection and I have to reconnect . If its bad a phone reboot does help and scope off and back on.

Hi, no I don't think you have too, zero is a fixed point , ballistics give you hold over and hold under above and below your zero ,they can move depending on what info you put in. Just make sure to match zero profile to ballistic profile

The 50 meters or any distance will show holdover in reticle section , think this is more to do with glass scope , range error sometimes with an obstical too close or ranging beyond your ballistic tables furthest distance and sometimes just not recived properly, poor alingment from surface!

If the arken mount is working for you stick with it , my arken came with a 35moa and was so far off and they weren't selling the full selection of mounts then. So I got the eaglevision , its ok 😶 it can be a real pain to set , I've never got it exact ,always have to finish with scope zero. If I could clamp the rifle down tight it would be easier to set . I always check zero out of the case, it does seem to move if its a tight fit in the case . I've got it in a new rifle case now will see tomorrow if its held zero. If it doesn't I'm thinking I'll get a 20moa zulus . What mount are you using on your HW100 ?

@cjoutdoors8264 thanks for the reply mate, I'm using the 35moa, I thought maybe the eaglevision would help do away with the reticle shift from base mag to 7.5, followed all your instructions earlier to set the dnt app and noticed the mount you were using

@@aranhw1007 👍 eaglevision does work but it's a faff to set. There is the ZB pro universal , not used one and read mixed reviews about it ,just another option .

Hi, you could send Arken an Email with your thoughts , they do seem to take onboard what customers have to say . Can't say I've notice it myself will have a proper look next time out . Have you tried it with different reticle and colour . what magnification are you using ? I;v not got a 3-12 but what i'v watched/seen on tube the 5-20 has a better picture quality and I don't really shoot below 20M.

@@cjoutdoors8264 Hiya, I might well send them an email... In the meantime, I have made some adjustments to the scope settings which seems to be helping things (changed reticle - plain cross, without additional markings, and switched from using "hold over mode" - sorry, can't remember what the other method is called, but it's where the entire reticle is moved, rather than adding a hold over aim point) 🙂

Hi, if using ballistic calculator have you selected it in menu ,same with ballistic table, select ballistic table.

I get the same thing , ballistic algorithm not activated, also the the ballistic table name.is not being updated in system settings. I've followed the video step by step.

@@johndenton1775 Hi, are you sure sure you have selected the correct ballistic option .ie ballistic calculator/ballistic table to match the table you want to use. I have noticed that when you send a table from the app to ballistic table option that was saved in the scope (so a duplicate to table ) it wont accept the same name. If you know its not the setting you selected then you may have to uninstall the app and reinstall , You will probably have to put your data back in 🙁 so make a note of them, sorry not much help on this
