Thank you ,clear and understandable, lots of others out there dint show the buttons ,I was having problems Bluetoothing my ballistic data to my scope ,3 nights messing with it and watchingother videos ,I watched your other video and boom all sorted ,thank you 😊
Another great video. I did try a Zulus but found it too complicated and reliant on my phone to operate, superb image but a fiddle to use/programme. I've made these comments on a few reviews and forums and recieved a personal contact from Arken, acknowleging this is a problem as there have been a large number of similar comments worldwide. They are in the process of simplifying it and doing away with the need for the phone app. The new upgraded "user friendly" Zulus will be available later this year.
Hi, thanks , yes it is complicated , got to say though the more I use it the quicker I get setting up different profiles . Arken do seem to listen to there customers and working on making it better . They have now added a pellet database which simplifies that section of the app a little :) I hope the upgrade is a firmware upgrade , I dont want to have to buy a new one .
I just set mine up using your video, thank you, I'm going to try to set up the ballistic calculator soon using your other video. Fingers crossed I can get it right.

Very good video, so how do you select a different profile? Do you just go into reticle zero and switch the letter and then hold the left arrow and your in that profile?

Hi, when out in the field setting it up ,I use a small hopup bench I have for work with shooting bags on that .I think It is tricky to setup , Iv never got it exact .Get it as close as I can then finish with the scopes zero setup . I suppose it would be easier to do with a gun vice ! the ones for gun maintenance but I don't want to spend £60 just to zero :)
@@cjoutdoors8264 yep in the same boat, close as I can (with a pard at the moment but after a zulus for the 22LR) with the eagle vision mount but it's tricky to keep everything still. You sound like you're from north Wales? It's been a pain just having a still day to zero recently around here!
@@dyngwyllt Hi, I'm not that impressed with the Eagle mount 😐 hard to setup ,if I put the rifle in a snug fitting case zero can go off ,in gun bag its ok. Yes in the north , Anglesey , the windy isle 😂 .Yes lots of wind and if its not wind its rain, would be nice to have a calm sunny day, on a day off 👍
Great job on showing how to zero, one Q, you said make a note of zero distance and profile letter, got the letter but what do you mean my distance, as in yardages or meters? if you zero at 50 yds for instance does your ballistic calculator use that for you adjustment. I found the manual very confusing but think they are using the phone app. when you use instructions in the manual. Very unclear for me on what they mean. Thanks so much, well done video. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks 🙂 , yes your correct, if your zero 50 yds ,then when inputting the info into the app for setting up ballistic table put 50 yds as in "zero distance " box . Iv done a video on the ballistic app ,have a look at my video list , it may help
👍 eaglevision does the job, a bit tricky to setup but I can get it pretty close. If you could clamp the rifle down I think it would be possible to get it exact, I swap between different rifles so don't worry about it to much, just finish with scope zero 👍
Thank you for sharing this! I hope you can help me with this. I did follow your instructions and saved the X-Y change in a profile. Then, a day later i switched on the scope and my crosshair wasn't in the middle of my view (true the scope) anymore, it was on th spot where i put it hen zeroing. What did i do wrong? I would expect to see the crosshair in the middle.. I hope you can help me. Kind regards! Ted

Hello! In daytime mode, how do you know exactly where the distance meter measures? Is it possible to zero the rangefinder? Pard binoculars indicate the location of the measurement both in night and day mode and can be zeroing.
The problem with doing it that way is if you have to move your retical that far to zero you will loose the ability to use the range finder feature much past 7.5 magnification. Better off getting adjustable scope mount and moving retical that way. Goal is to achieve as close to zeroing and still have your scope opticly centered. Than you will be able to use range finder up to max of 20x
Hi, yes if you do have to move it a lot it does put the range finder mark off, there's a verity of mounts they make for the zulus got to pick the right one for your setup. I got one of the early ones 35 moa, no good for me. I use the eagle vision mount, get it as close as I can and have single figures on my X and Y 👍
Hi, think its possible to remove the cover from around the lrf and get to the screws holding the lens, think you would find a video of someone doing it to a pard lrf. Not seen one of the zulus done. You would void your guarantee doing it . You could possibly do it with a adjustable mount , position splash where you want it and zero crosshair to splash ,if that makes sense.
Hi, think your saying your at the max you can move the reticle. You may need to shim the scope . If your shot is above reticle , shim front of scope ,if below reticle shim back of scope.
