How far do you think it can detect a coyote with the thermal?

@@CarlosMendoza-bv5bw I can see them at 500 for sure. I will look at my fox video and see how far I saw them.

How did you get the rf crosshair so close to the main one .. mines so far left

I shimmed my mount with a tiny piece on AR15 barrel nut timing shim on my Zulus. You can do the same with a coke can or some similar material. Most optics aren't that far off and they stay relatively center then go completely center when you zoom the first time. Shooting a AR 22 Nosler and 243 Bolt and gas gun. Hasn't moved a bit since zero'd after shimming. I don't think my ThermNight needed shimming.

@@301NightCrew shimming moved the rangefinder crosshairs closer to the projectile crosshairs? Seems like they would fix that where it would be adjustable. If it is I can’t find it anywhere but I noticed yours was way closer than mine

@@kennylaviolette2813 If your scope is sitting on zero, zero Y, where is your lrf crosshair in relation to your shooting reticle? Shimming my optic made my crosshair closer to zero x, and zero Y coordinates. It made the LRF box closer to a factory reset optic. If that makes sense?

@@301NightCrew my laser rangefinder crosshair is about well. It looks like an inch in the screen. I’m sure it’s not that far but it’s pretty far away to try to move over range whatever I’m shooting at and then moved back to the main cross areas .. it’s retarded ..

@@kennylaviolette2813 Shimming put my crosshair reticle closer to my lrf reticle before I started zeroing the optic. Less movement in XY coordinates means they stay closer together.
