My husband is from Northeastern Pennsylvania and they have a similar word…“heyna” (pronounced like “henna” tattoo) which is a Coal Cracker speak with a variety of meanings-“Yes??” “Am I right?” “What do you think?” “Are you there?” “Give that to me.” “Stop what you’re doing!” and the list goes on! I was cracking up listening to your husband use his word!!! Too funny! 🤣🤣

Your cubbie super Carol is the only other person I know that enjoys a cookbook like a novel😊 I relax in the evening reading cook books, I collect them and at my current count have about300+ books, some are my grandmothers, some ate newer, some are vintage and i love them. The one i most enjoy is "The White House cookbook with recipes by some of the first ladies.

My mom used Cream Of Chicken or Cream Of Mushroom Soup in so many recipes. She would also add a package of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix for great flavor. We now figured out to add a large can of Cream Of Chicken soup to our turkey gravy. It makes it taste SO much better. Blessings from California. 🌺

I do a casserole, that uses chicken 4 breast halves, each topped with a slice of Swiss cheese, a mix of 1 can of any cram soup 9 i prefer cream of celery) and 1/2 c of milk over the cheese, and boxed stuffing mixed with 1/2 stick of melted butter sprinkled on top. 350*/ about 45 mins.

FYI: You can also use your stand mixer with the dough attachment to mix up sausage ball mix 🙌 and use it with the paddle attachment to mix up chicken salad and pimento cheese. These recipes look delicious!

These all look delicious! That's basically how I make my mac n cheese but I use a can of cream of chicken instead of the cheddar cheese soup. I also add shredded smoked gouda and that takes it to the next level!

These look delicious. I’m all about simple meals, I take a can of cream of chicken soup and heat it. Add on top of cooked white rice. So easy. I might add zucchini next time 👍🏻
We will be trying some of these soon as we will be moving, during the process I want us to have GOOD meals but they need to be simple.

I just made the chicken & zucchini casserole and OMG so good! I used some shredded chicken I had pre-made frozen in the freezer (used it frozen no need to thaw!) & added a little Auntie Nonos - husband kept raving how good it was! So quick and easy 😌

OK Mandy I made the macaroni and cheese recipe on Friday you are so right this was the best I’ve ever had and will be my go to from now on. I love macaroni and cheese it’s one of my favorite comfort foods thank you so much!!!
Golden Mushroom is my go-to thing; for green bean (instead of cream of mushroom) casserole with extra canned mushrooms, and it is wonderful in tuna/noodle casserole too. Far deeper flavor.
That chicken casserole and the mac & cheese looked like they were to die for. I’m definitely putting those on the meal. You are correct about grating your own cheese. It tastes so much better. I got the grater and I love it so thanks for that. We love our BUTCHER BOX! Thanks Mandy

I had everything needed for the chicken zucchini casserole minus the sour cream, but I do have cream cheese so I’m making it with that as a substitute and this will be my lunch for the coming up week. I’m excited to try this, it’s SO easy to make and great for a meal prep on a Sunday for a single woman to use. 💛

Of you spray the French fries with some cooking spray they will brown and crisp up a bit. I also will also brown under the broiler and then add the cheese to finish. I like a bit of colour on casserole fries. Of course, in our house, we would have soooo much cheese on it! I like the idea of adding hamburger condiment items. Fresh tomatoes, onions and pickles will be yummy!

Hi Mandy, my Mac and Cheese recipe calls for Cream of Mushroom Soup, Velvetta, a can of Evaporated Milk, 3 or 4 cups of shredded Cheddar Cheese. And some regular milk. Buttered bread crumbs, I use Ritz crushed. Such a good recipe. This was one of my girl friends family recipe. I don’t care for the canned Cheese Soup, to me it has a tin taste to it. But your recipe sounds good. Tater Tots always make a great meal. I love seeing Gracie Lou and her Cheese treats.❤️
