- Here is how to gain almost 20 rear wheel horsepower for FREE in your 22-23 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This process takes about 15 minutes to complete and in my book is totally worth it. I looked at that tube and didn’t wanna fuck with it, so I snipped the guard out from in front and behind the filter and you can simply pull that rubber filter thing out. After that the filter housing you can just bend inwards and pull out. Took like 5min lol…I saw them tabs and was like nah.
How did u get it out of that sleeve thingee?
Hey from your perspective what’s faster the new mustang gt or the Mach 1 ? I want to buy a mustang but don’t know what’s better
The Mach 1 is better than a Mustang GT including the new one. The Mach 1 is faster in straight line (all S550s are 2018+) plus the Mach 1 gets all the special bits and pieces of the Shelby Mustangs, making it the most track capable 5.0 mustang of all time, goes toe to toe with the Shelby GT350R.

@@adrianjimenez8485 One thing the Dark Horse did was go with duel intakes to get around these carbon traps. Tested a Dark horse being a friend of a dealership. They just keep making the Mustang better. But the Dark Horse is one expensive Mustang.
Mach 1 with handling pack feels like a different car than the GT especially if you go manual with the tremec. I wasn't the biggest fan of mustangs until i bought the Mach1 with HP.

what he doesn't tell you is when you do this your car runs lean and you will hurt your engine in the long run. Unless you have it tuned.
The issue is the car will run lean.
@@Forrest_94 No it won’t, I had mine removed for a couple of months now and it runs perfectly.
@@TheMGChannel Ford claims otherwise the engine is tuned differently in comparison to the 21.

I have a 2023 Mach 1 automatic with a horse power 470 . Can my car goes any faster ?
Get a centrifugal supercharger. Trust me with the 10 speed that thing is going to fly.
How did u get the initial tube out of the the air tube elbow? There are no tabs to pull or push.. that sleeve thingee.. I can't get mine out
There are three tabs that you push in with screw drivers (that’s what I did) or something to get them open. That’s how you are able to get the tube out.
Next plans for the mach 1. I'm curious. Have the same one as you just ripped that thing out of there today😊
I have suspension going in it soon, some little cosmetic things that I want to do and possibly a custom tune😁

What heppens if you dont put the tube back?
Your fuel trims go crazy pretty much. Because the diameter of the maf housing changes without the computer knowing it did.

@@greekfrenchman4434 if you aren’t gonna tune it, leave the tube in. If you are gonna get a custom tune for it, talk to your tuner first.

PLEASE don’t make any mods on your Mach 1’s! Future generations will curse you. Keep ‘em stock. As Mach 1 owners, you KNOW how rare these cars are! Chop up GT’s all day, but leave the Mach 1’s alone.
Absolutely! I understand what these cars are, now I will do some mods but minor mods and cosmetic mods, everything will be reversible and everything will most likely be from the Mach 1 Handling package. I’m glad you have a Mach 1 as well, I definitely love mine.
