2022 Mustang MACH 1 with handling package and 10 sp. Wisdom on going down in wheel and tire size to: Size: 275/40ZR19 Size: 255/40ZR19 ? Continental DWS06 tire? Also, I’ve seen where some people go with the same size, wheels, and tires, front and rear. What are the pluses and minuses of doing that? For street vs the massive Handling package: 305/30R19 315/30R20 (rear) CUP 2 tire. I’m thinking this larger size wheels and gummy tires will be throwing rocks all over my car. And also the CUP 2 tires would wear out super fast. I figure smaller wheel, larger sidewall equals less tram lining and obviously protection for the wheels suspension, the whole car. Also better fuel economy. For a car with this much horsepower and weight should I go to anything smaller than the 40 series that comes stock without the Handling package? Also, what do you know about wheels? What is a high-quality durable light wheel that I should buy for these smaller tires? Thank you.
It’s not the car is more, its the value of money is worth less. But yeah, not too many new cars putting down this level of performance and fun factor for less.
If you worked and saved your money instead of buying play stations/games and buying beers every weekend at the bar, then yes it is affordable. It won’t be affordable if you spend your days playing video games in your parents basement.
Just picked up flat gray Mach 1 today, it was marked up $10,000, but by the time we were done “talking” they made a great deal. We got under MSRP at the end. It has the 6 spd. Great sound, solid driving experience. I’m and M car driver and this thing does not disappoint.
The thing about the sport cup 2 tires is they are REALLY more suited for track driving. So you need to think about the fact that you are likely going to have to spend 1500 bucks for a set of PS4’s. I am glad I didn’t get the handling package. And yea the 6spd is awesome.
" I am glad I didn’t get the handling package." keep telling yourself that ;-) It was my first requirement, then 6-speed, followed by color. Resale value will cover HP cost + some.
Oh I will keep telling myself that. I bought the car for me, no one else and I got exactly what I wanted. Don’t need the HP, don’t want it, and I am happy as can be.
15 years ago a 50K Shelby would made me pass out but today in 2023 a 50K price tag and this review has me trying to order one bc it’s a steal….. repetitively speaking
There are 2, 2023 Mach1 selling for $63k.-$65k. These are Non handling packages with no premium trim. Not $50k at all. New Mach1 is 6:26 about $60 not $50.
@@Driven-Productions no problem sir thank you for such wonderful content. Mustangs are my favorite too, my grandfather has a 69 cobra jet Mach 1. I’m only trying to follow in his footsteps
Actually the mach 1 in 69-70 could be purchased with a 428 cobra jet. MACH 1 was a trim package. My father had a 1970 Mach 1 with 351 Cleveland engine. The S550 Mach 1 has the engine from the bullitt, the manual transmission from the GT350 and the cooling and aero from the GT500. It's the balanced mustang. Ford designed it because I wanted the bullitt engine but I didn't want MT82 transmission. Told them that at the Chicago auto show.
Sounds like he should have gotten a BMW automatic. I love my manual 21 mach one and go's pretty good on e85 and headers .whipple sitting in living room waiting for spring
13:09 I filled up today and I am getting 13.01 mpg and if you’re driving it no way is that car getting 17.5 mpg. Especially since I put 5W-50 in it just like the ford performance racing school cars and. It got rid of my “coyote” tick.
A 22 Camaro ZL1 starts at $63k thats $13k more, but really with options its more like $15-20k more than a Mach 1. I paid $73k for my 19 Camaro ZL1 1LE and today they’re about $5k higher than that.
@@jscism1972I got my 2022 Mach 1 premium with handling package for $62k…$4k under MSRP. Waited 11 months for it and Ford honored the price on the date I placed my ordered which happened to be $4k under MSRP.
@@smitty858 yeah there was a big jump in price from 21 to 22/23. Cool that you got it at 21 pricing. Have you seen how to just the 10HP back. You just need to pull out the carbon trap in the CAI. There are videos on it.

It’s crazy that $50k is “affordable.”

You aren't lying! Our wonderful government driving the dollar down and printing it like toilet paper.
At his age I hope so! If your still struggling by the time your his age? You probably didn’t do nothing right when you was younger.

No...50k isn't cheap

Almost the start of the driving season 💯

I believe he is one happy man. And unlike most owners, actually tracks his!
Question for anyone that has a Stang hows the leg and room? Im considering purchasing one but being 6 foot 7 i need room lol beautiful whip!!!!
Better than most, but man 6 ‘ 7 you may be best in a supercharged Shelby truck or something like that 👊 Only way to be sure is go test drive one.
@@Driven-Productions right on man! Thank you!
The wheels on that car are the ones included in the performance pack.
The eco boost performance pack right?

The coyote bbq tick is still a thing? I had it on my '11 GT. Owned a 2017 GT and now a 2023 Mach 1. No more tick.
I have a 2021 Mach 1 10 speed iconic silver with a Procharger
Nice I bet that rips

Are the rear brakes Brembos too ?
No. Ford.
Definitely a nice looking car.
His makes more torque than anyone else's that I've heard of
So did the dealership in Birmingham charge a mark up?
Believe he said no they did not, several others locally did though.
Is v8 have any issue?
Always possible especially if you don’t properly service and drive them, but nothing major I have heard.
Factory Torque rating is 420 not 460 as he stated in the video. Otherwise nice video.
Appreciate the clarification my man, and thanks for watching.
@@Driven-Productions no worries. Have a 2021 Mach myself. Car is amazing. Thanks for doing a video on one in the first place
