- Sig Sauer tossed a hand grenade into the world of concealed carry pistols when they launched the highly concealable, double-stack P365 in early 2018. This micro-compact 9mm kicked off a veritable arms race among other manufacturers chasing after the P365’s success, spurring the creation of a host of competitors ranging from Springfield’s Hellcat and Taurus’ GX4 to the Ruger Max and even Kimber’s new line of micro 9s, the R7 Mako.
But Sig Sauer was quick to follow up the original P365 with a host of variants to fit an even wider audience of concealed carriers. With various sizes, capacities, and sights, the ever-increasing P365 family has changed a lot in just a few years. So, let’s take a look at some of the most popular P365 variants here at Guns.com and see which one fits your needs best.
To me, the 365X is the perfect middle ground in terms of size and concealment.
I ended up getting the 365X .. I kind of wanted the XL but they didn’t have the one on the spot.. honestly one of the most comfortable ccw iv owned. I debated the g43x and I’m happy with my choice.
Good piece. Sig keeps popping out these P365 variants like every other week.
Thanks for mentioning the X. Most GunTubers don't. It's the best of both worlds with the short slide for concealibility with the longer grip to get a full purchase on the gun.
It be great if you could revise this video to include the P365 X Macro!
I got my g43 about 3 years ago, I just picked up my p365x a couple of days ago now and couldn't be happier for many reasons it's the same size/shorter barrel xl probably the same size with the plus one or pinky extension on the 43. Also being able to change out the grip module if you want I think is pretty awesome can switch between p365 & p365x not to mention switch colors if you want by just taking out one pin.

I'm not seeing a 365 Legion yet.. Was waiting for Shot 22 to happen to see if there would be one in the lineup.
And don't forget that, with a Magguts +2 extender kit, the P365 becomes 14+1 with the 12 round mag (but only 1/8" longer).
The cost is a big turn off.

@@jaytay7989 I ended up just building one. Icarus precision grip with a true precision barrel and slide.
I was going for the p365xl the box reads p365xl but the gun shows p365x well the slide has the x on it and not the xl can someone explain ?
Finally...! But I still want to know how the original p365 (mags and all) compare to the xl and spectre. Do they work in all? Are they interchangeable? Etc...
I went with the XL. It's perfect for EDC.

Very similar to S&W's M&P 2.0 line. Variations in size, barrel length, safety/no safety, calibers, capacities.

2:47 "Bigger like me." I can clearly see by the size of the Sig in your hand that you're not as big as you might think you are. But that's okay. Self-confidence is good, and considering you're holding something that can quickly end someone's life, you'd better have the self-confidence in yourself and your ability to know whether or not you should use that weapon---if it ever comes to that point.
Personally, the SAS is on my Christmas List, right under the Walther PPS M2.
Spectra and Spectra Comp are new.
Making it larger just removes its uniqueness.

@@philweed1603 the whole point of the 365 was being small, his point is probably that a p365xl or x macro are basically no longer making sense of the 365 name l.

In Free states the capacity is 12/15 not 10/12 rds in any standard 365 also the grip is the same on a standard AND the xl... I can't take your review seriously if you don't have the facts.
My P365 came with 2 10 round mags when I bought it in 2020 one flush one pinky extended in Florida
