      @@aalyanqazi5892 a 3:2 ratio (by volume) of heavy cream to chocolate is pretty fair, and you can make it closer to 1:1 if you want a more decadent mouse, you would still have to add gelatin (to the melted chocolate) if you want the mouse to set firm.

      Temitope Lemoru you should never use gelatin for mousse. It means you don’t know how to work with chocolate properly. You also dont need to fold anything. Just pour hot cream over chopped semi-sweet chocolate chips, stir to melt, allow to cool to room temp, then whip and chill.... Thats it. (unless you’re making a mold like this one.)

    Per Google: Valentine’s Day in Japan dates back to the 1950s, and represents the changes that have occurred in Japanese cultural norms. Back then (and sometimes even now) female ‘kokuhaku’, or the act of confessing feelings, was considered radical and taboo. By establishing a day when it was acceptable for women to take a risk and confess their feelings in Japan, chocolate makers and gift sellers not only found a great marketing opportunity, they also helped change the way men and women interacted in Japan.
    White Day was first celebrated in 1978 in Japan. It was started by the National Confectionery Industry Association as an "answer day" to Valentine's Day

    • @VeryCherryCherry
      @VeryCherryCherry 4 роки тому +25

      And for the rest of the world:
      "There are numerous martyrdom stories associated with various Valentines connected to February 14, including a written account of Saint Valentine of Rome's imprisonment for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his judge, and he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell before his execution. The Feast of Saint Valentine was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496 to be celebrated on February 14 in honour of the Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who died on that date in AD 269.
      The day first became associated with romantic love within the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it grew into an occasion in which couples expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines")."
