pink princess You can use a whisk, but it will take a LOT longer. Make sure the cream, and whisk, and bowl are cold. Make sure the chocolate is cooled to room temperature. You can whisk the cream, then mix a small amount of the chocolate into the whipped cream, then "fold" the whip cream INTO the chocolate with a silicone spatula. Keep folding until the color is uniform. Chill for about half hour in fridge, and whip some more til fluffy. Then spoon or pipe into serving dishes (btw this recipe appears to be at least four servings). Make sure the room is on the cool side, so the cream stays in strong peaks. Chill before serving. ABOVE ALL: Do NOT let a single drop of water get into your melting chocolate or it will "seize" and you have to start over with new ingredients.
pink princess, You can literally find a decent hand mixer for under $20. I bought one in the 80s for $10 at KMart. I even already had a big ol' KitchenAid, but for smaller amounts a cheapo hand mixer can't be beat!

Heavy cream has different names in different places so for those who are confused, just check the ingredients to make sure. Preferably use cream with 36% fat or your cream won’t whip up. The fat in the cream is responsible for the cream to have its light and airy structure. Also, be careful when whipping the cream since it can easily turn into butter. Try not to over-whip it. Also tip for college students who don’t have the luxuries like me: If you want things to be easier, just heat the chocolate and cream in the microwave instead of the bain-marie. Do 30 secs intervals and mix in between them since microwaves heat unevenly. Keep doing this and when partially melted, do 10 secs intervals until the chocolate is completely melted. If you don’t have an electric mixer, chuck the cream into a tupperware or bottle and shake it. Use a spoon to check if its soft peaks. I think since you don’t keep whipping the cream, it is preferable to whip the cream into stiff peaks. Lastly, FOLD when you combined the two mixtures together to keep it airy.

Hiền Nguyễn Thu Yeah, we have mauls up here too: The vanilla ones are “gifted” by big, white furry things. The chocolate mauls are “gifted” by big brown furry things. This recipe is keto friendly so you don't have to be on a diet to eat it. And yeah, you can totally call mousse 'food' and life is too short not to enjoy it😉
Paul Racine Oh you humorless, old dowager! Gasp and pearl clutch, what evah shall one doooo?? This is suppose to be *fun*! Here’s two ingredients: Instant chocolate pudding mix and as much milk as ya need to get a light consistency. Oh wait, ya gotta have a bowl and a spatula too. Plus a refrigerator for the milk. And a hand mixer or an immersion blender to get some air in there-Beat it like it owes ya money. Or ya could just slop a container or two of generic cool whip in there. And if the local thrift store doesn’t have some (discarded) “donated” martini glasses (for those on a diet) or large Mickey D’s collectible plastic ones (for the non-dieters) just eat it out of the bowl, spoons optional. If ya wanna live really dangerously, throw in some unsweetened cocoa if ya want it darker colored. See how simple that is-and maybe it’ll put a smile on your sour puss! ;-)
Awesome and love it! What you can also do is add a cheese cake layer at bottom ... crunch up some digestive biscuits and add melted butter and form it into a half cm base then add this mouse on top .. yummy!
The only thing I recommend changing is you should add about a third of the whipped cream to the chocolate first to lighten it, and then add the chocolate whipped cream mixture back to the whipped cream. This would reduce the amount of whipping you did with the hand mixer, and would reduce risk of over whipping the cream.

If you whip the chocolate in the cream it's more of a whipped ganache than an actual mousse right! I usually just fold the cream in the chocolate
Does it make any difference in the texture etc.? Im asking 'cuz i have no idea at all, i wanna try it.
ganache is the mixture of melted chocolate and cream together, the edition of the extra cream makes it more thickened cream like
@@mannifester8889 oooh, that makes sense. Thx for the ansfer.
This Is way easier:
2 dl suger
2dl Cocoa powder
5dl whipping cream
And then you just mix it. It tastes so good👌👌
What does DL stand for
Im a kid pls dont call me dumb
Deciliter but you can find webside that "translates" it to kgg or whatever you use in your country. But Keep in mind that you need to write what the ingridient is =)
2dl whipping cream is 180 gram if that is what you use in your country?
2 dl is 0,845350568 cups so around 1 cup
I made these yesterday in iftar it was yummiest. Just like i bought it from cake shop. I just left some ganache for the top and put a one strip of kitkat.
Mine became so watery. I used hazelnuts chocolate though, might be because of this. I'm freezing it to be used as ice-cream now 😂
The way you shot and edited this looks great!! Well done!!
So I made this and it was really good! I think my mom and dad liked it too :)

I am going to try this for Valentine's... I was trying to find a chocolate mousse recipe and the rest of them looks so complicated but this one looks so much easier...ty
Two of my very favorite things together: dark chocolate and whipped cream; absolute Heaven!
I'm still waiting for dad to come home with the milk so he can get these 2 ingredients
Still?
Jesus christ
Nvm god is real- has it been 1 year of you waiting tho..?
There is NO Milk in this...
Watch the video again...
Two reasons why you shouldn't get your hopes up:
1. You need cream, not milk
2. He's never coming back
I had the best chocolate mousse about 7 years ago and I haven’t had any since then because I am too scared that I won’t be able to recreate it properly. I’m definitely ready to give this a shot!
That looks super good. I have whipped cream and hot coco mix. It's delicious, so I think this would be tasty too.
Gold medal for the music 💯
Great video and the recipe is delicious!😋
Tip: completely cool the melted chocolate to room temperature and add it all to the whipping cream then mix. You can avoid overwhipping this way!
Made my very first mousse today, turned out watery. I think the chocolate was to warm it melted the cream when i poured it in. Oops
I just want to point out. As lovely as this is, it's not a mouse, its just chocolate whipped cream 😋
Yes!
Wow! We will be trying this soon. Can't believe you can just use two items to make this chocolate mousse!
I literally told my coworkers today after a rough project, "We've earned our chocolate." I think I'm making this soon!
Who else love that part when he cuts the chocolates
Unfortunately it's a she🙃
I added a dash of espresso to the mix... I made it mocha flavor!
Everything tastes better with a dash of caffeine lol
Aren’t you just adorable!
U r not only one here who want that someone should make this for you and you will enjoy by licking it . Bon appetite. 😋

apnar sob recipy best, special....... so nice....
Thank you 😍
1. partially whip thickened cream
2. add the same amount of nutella
3. mix until smooth and combined, but don't over whip it.
4. refrigerate overnight
done.
what if you dont have nutella, could you use chocolate syrup?
@@justxe7686 No, without the nutella it would be runny and have a bad texture. Unless you can find another alternative that is thick like nutella.
Can we use cocoa powder instead of chocolate or nuttela?

Thank you!! I really need this (*´꒳`*)♡
Me: Pshhh, how could adding cold cream make the bowl break?
**adds cold cream**
Me: Frick my life..
Thermal shock.
Lol
You did a science😉
Well, you *could* call it “Fukushima Mousse” as it kinda blew up, eh?
I always use a stainless steel bowl for my double broiler, wonder if the cream should still be room temp.... can't shatter my bowl :)
Nice presentation...😍😍
