So much vintage at the show. That first table has prices that were way too high on some cards. Really cool to see all the Venezuelan cards. It really bothers me when dealers stack all their cards in a display. They should be stacked on top of one another if they’re the same card but next to each other in an organized manner. Thanks for sharing.
Down where I’m at in South Florida we have very little vintage at card shows so I’m really enjoying the view you give us into the shows up there. Keep up the great work.
Sammy, your Card show videos are my favorite. I really enjoy seeing what the card dealers are selling on the east coast. I'm in California and we have nowhere near the vintage that you encounter. I am always watching you videos to see what 1941 Play Ball they're selling. I don't see many graded cards from 41 in your videos either, so it just confirms there are not many common grade cards out there for sale. I definitely want to do some of the shows you do one day. Please continue making these card show videos. Thanks!
Thanks Rick. I don't know too much about the 1941 Play Ball in terms of ratio between graded and raw, but thankfully The National happens every year. That is the one show that you have the best chance at finding something you desire!
Always love your show videos, the White Plains was mouth dropping cards and autographs. I have that Seaver in the front of an unopened Kelloggs pack. Beautiful 52 Bowman Berra and all nice pickups.
@@SammyThunder Exact same one showing through a cello pack. Not sure how these packs were distributed .Bought it off eBay in the 90s. One just sold on REA for $330 on last nights auction with Kaline in front I think I paid $30 years ago.
Thanks for bringing us footage of a second card show this weekend!! You always do an amazing job with your videos!! There were so many awesome cards!! Congratulations on another great Seaver pickup!! Do you see vintage card prices coming down at the shows? Keep up the great content!!
Thank you! It seems like prices are coming down, but because I'm not a very analytical person when it comes to collecting, I don't focus on it so much.
At first glance I thought some of the first dealer’s prices were outrageous, I mean $225 for a ‘75 Reggie Jackson - Uh, WHAT??! But then I noticed how remarkably sharp his cards were, so maybe justified? 🤷♂️ I can understand how that would work for some collectors, but this is a slippery slope that I prefer to avoid - paying a premium on raw beauties that are priced based on graded values, because you never really know. It might look fantastic to the naked eye, but then there’s something less obvious that would tank the grade under intense scrutiny. So I like to find diamonds in the rough. Raw beauties often find their way into bargain bins. It’s just a matter of searching. More fun that way too. Anyway, looks like a great show. I’ll make it out there one of these Sundays. Btw nice ‘70 Kellogg’s Seaver. I also picked one up recently for $20. ‘70 is my favorite Kellogg’s set. It certainly has presence. Your other pickups were great too - especially love the ‘53 Topps Whitey Ford.
agreed..a PSA 9 1975 Reggie DOES go for $700+..so taking a chance on a raw mint one for $225 or less after negotiating could be a good calculated gamble :)
Hi Sammy, Thank you so much for the trip to the Garfield show! As usual your camera work was superb and I was really impressed by the selection at the show. Good luck on your and Orlando’s give away next weekend. It should be fun 🤩. Have a great Sunday evening, Peter
I've seen that first guy with those outrageous prices on raw cards. I remember laughing out loud at that ungraded 1954 Jackie priced at $3500 at least two years ago. He was at the Westchester show at the Tarrytown hotel. I can't imagine that he makes any sales at all with those numbers. Even the cards in top loaders in the boxes are way overpriced.
@@AFRAKER1 The ridiculous thing about that Jackie is that recent sales of PSA 7 are $2500 and PSA 8 is $6500, so asking 3500 doesn’t even make any sense. Nevermind that it’s kind of absurd that PSA would grade a raw 54 Jackie that’s been transported to shows for several years as a PSA 7 or 7.5.
@@DansVintageBaseballPC Indeed. If the cards are really as SHARP! as you say, and you want that much for them, have them graded. You’re either leaving money on the table or wanting to take advantage of naive buyers who think they have a chance of getting a high grade on a raw vintage card.

Happy to make them for you to enjoy! There are plenty of shows in my area, so there will certainly be more!

Thanks man! I think there are so many different collectors out there that some might take that chance on a raw card.

Tons of vintage, looks like a great show. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Orlando!
Thanks for taking us to the show Sammy!! Some beautiful cards at the show. I saw several that caught my attention.

They come in bunches!

I've never seen a 1980 Rickey Henderson going for $175!
Clearly you’re not accounting for the fact that his cards are, per the stickers, GEM! or MINT! or SHARP! or WOW! That makes all the difference.

Hi Sammy. Great footage as always. Nice PC pickup of the Kellogg's Seaver, looks pretty nice. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Thank you Stephen!
Thanks for the show footage. Nice pickups!
Thanks Stuke!
Good pick ups, Sammy. Like the ;52 Bowman Yogi and '56 Mays Topps.
Thank you! It'll look great in the display case for the next show!
I love Tom Seaver! Pete Rose, Dave Winfield Nolan Ryan....when do they do these shows in Garfield?
Every two weeks.
@@SammyThunder Awesome bro! I am in the Morristown area, I have to check that place out!!

Thanks Titus!
Wow , overpriced raw cards in the first display. He needs to put down the crack pipe
