Given that I am putting this description together after already seeing the grades, you do not want to miss this video! Some real nice returns! Everyone from Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, Mathewson (of course)! A lot of these vintage baseball cards will be for sale and will be available at my next show in Garfield! Speaking of which...
I will be setting up at a show in Garfield, NJ this Sunday! Please come by if you're in the NJ/NY area!
If you're interested in grading vintage baseball cards from your collection, I'd highly recommend going with SGC!

Nice video Sammy - keep buying those Mattys -he was great
Thank you! One card at a time
Awesome lot of cards and awesome grades!
Thank you!
I was waiting for the results on those classic Mathewsons. Good job!
Thank you. Plenty happy with the results
Great stuff Sammy.
Thanks, Mike
Great Job Sammy! Love your style!
Thank you Duckboy! 🦆
Ha! I was there when you purchased the ‘71 Clemente from Harry. It’s cool to see it all slabbed up in a very respectable 5, especially for a ‘71, the most condition-sensitive set of the vintage era. Some nice returns on this order. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you 😎 Harry’s stuff has always proven to grade well!
Some really nice returns on that stack. Cool Ted Simmons 71. Nice shirt. Looks like you have some good inventory for your table at the next show.
Thanks Ken. Looking forward to Sunday!
Some great grades Sammy, thanks for sharing
Thanks Orlando
Congrats Sammy for a great return! Sick 71 Clemente! Good luck at the show!
Thank you, Theo
That Bench was a nice surprise huh ? LOL Nice Aaron surprise grade too. At least you are wrong on the grades because the grade is higher than what you think. You are always so spot on with the grades. The only ones you are wrong on are the ones that grade higher than your guess. That Mays and Snider card is sick ! Also love the Catfish Hunter rookie ! Ok that Ryan said Lunn Nolan Ruan. Is Lynn his first name ? WOW I love watching your returns because all the cards are beautiful vintage cards. I am glad you did above average on the grades !! Fantastic video, thanks for sharing !!
Thank you Lisa. A lot to really enjoy and I'm glad that you always appreciate all the cards! Lynn is his actual first name!
Hi Sammy,
Thanks for the great video! I really appreciate SGC holders because they compliment every card.
I love the 1969 Topps Johnny Bench card in a 5 grade and the 1971 Nolan Ryan card!
Have a great weekend and thanks again for your constant high quality videos.
Peter
Thank you Peter. I agree in terms of the SGC slabs.
Fun return with cool cards! Love the mays stand up and Clemente/mays/Aaron leaders card! The Mathewson silks and stamp look amazing. Wow! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Reese!
Great share Sammy. Love the Pop up Willie Mays. All are nice though. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Steve. I appreciate you watching.
I just bought my first Mathewson. Congrats on getting both graded! Beautiful examples!
Thank you! Which Matty did you buy?
@@SammyThunder T206 Dark Cap. I was debating between that and white cap but decided on dark. I think White might be a bit more expensive. Either way, it's a beautiful picture.
Both solid options!
Very solid. Gotta love when you get those little bumps to your hopeful grade predictions
Thank you, it feels good to be wrong sometimes
Great results as always. Love the cards you su submit.
Thank you Lee!
Hi Sammy. I thought you did really well on most of your cards. Those are certainly cards that you should move easily. I'm really appreciating more every day how good vintage shows in a SGC slab. So glad to see you adding to your Mathewson run, those two examples are awesome. Good luck at your show tomorrow, talk soon my friend.
Thank you, Stephen! Although the Mathewson stamp went one grade lower with SGC Grading, it does look a lot better.
That Clemente card as a 5 is well done..looks about 2.5-3 with the white on the edges and soft corners, etc. centering is nice especially for '71.
Thanks.
Hell yeah my friend! Awesome cards!
Thank you CP!
Really solid return Sammy! The leader card with Clemente/Aaron/Mays is one of my favorite cards. A 7 on the Simmons RC is a great grade! Think those cards should move well at the show, good luck!
Thank you! I’m curious to see if the Simmons now moves. That will be an interesting take.
Love the Jim Hunter RC. Yeah, it's a bit difficult to find that card with strong centering, but still not a bad copy. Good luck at the show. I think it will go well. Your SGC submission yielded some good results.
Thank you! The Hunter is either OC on the front or back.
Outstanding sub sammy , congratulations and good luck at the show. So
Thank you Doug. I’ll have a follow up video for the weekend Recap either tomorrow or Monday.
Sammy, I think you were charmed in this submission. These are really nice cards. I broke your streak on 1971 Nolan Ryan’s though. I recently sent in a 1971 o pee chee and got a 5. I really like the backs on these.
That’s awesome. I’m glad somebody broke by the 4.5 parade. 😂
Nice return!
Thanks Budget!
Another great video!! I sure love watching all the vintage subs! I feel like you got some good grades on this sub. Congrats! I have been happy with my grades I have been getting with PSA on my vintage orders. I think they have been doing a great job grading. Keep the videos coming bud!
Thank you so much ⚾️
Nice cards dude
Thanks Brian!
Well done 🎉
Hey did you notice on the back of Hunter rookie card his name is Tim Hunter? Wonder if there is a corrected version. Congrats on doing well with your submission!
I think the corrected version is tougher to find
Hi sammy that must be there standard grade for the 73 Aaron the ones i sent in all came back 4.5 also
It must be a curse
Did you notice the '65 Hunter said Tim on the back?? I'm going to dig mine out and see if mine has that error.
I did! A lot of them have that
Awesome cards Sammy! If you don’t sell the 71 Simmons let me know, I may have some interest in thar card.
Thanks Jason! Where can I get in touch with you?
I will send you my info via email

I've seen better grades lately from PSA and sgc. Maybe they are running out of customers and trying to win them back.
I think that’s a bit of a stretch.
Yak yak yak
Moo Moo Moo
Were you implying that I talk too much? 🤣
Dude you didn't make money cause its a 5 one just sold for 100 so after grading fees -------- why send in low grade stuff?? Glad you got 5 Clemente because a 4 would have lost you money. Even the nl leaders card only sold for 150 so you pay 125 grading fees and shipping. Dude glad you are happy.
For the record, I paid less than what I stated for the NL LL Card. I checked my records and I paid $100. After grading fees, it came out to $115. If I sell it for $150, I’ll make a small profit. Given the circumstances, it was worth the risk. If it received a 6, it would’ve yielded a better return. That said, I’m satisfied with a 5. Also, there were other submissions that I will have better profit margins like the 58 Mays/Snider, 71 Simmons and 68 Aaron. Clearly, those are not low grade… Appreciate your feedback.
@@SammyThunder Wondering as I have a dilema. I have lots of nice looking cards that are not rare and I like the cheaper price and look of SGC but it seems not as good as PSA. If this was 3 years ago and it was 8.00 a card PSA. But now SGC looks good and half the price and faster.
