Kevin Owens is actually really good in the ring. And that's probably why Stone Cold agreed to wrestle him. Stone Cold was after all his injuries extremely careful and pickie with who he'd get in the ring with.

I've always liked KO, but this was a weird match up especially after not watching for a few years
The reason they didn't put Logan with Stone Cold is completely for protection of Austin, Owens is really good at what he does and safe at doing it and because they knew Owens would make Austin look great, that's also why they put Logan with the Miz and against the Mysterios, guaranteed to make them all look good and gives good name value

I think he needs to put some tweet or something out there and ask for some recommendations on some matches to react to from the last 10 years even just so he realises what the product is today and it’s not all about your cookie cutter big guy it’s about people like he said that can tell a story. If anything the people that don’t fit your typical big strong guy look are some of your best storytellers. Miz, Sami Zayn, KO to name a few

Ikr. KO been on the block for years. From his time in the indies to then doing great in nxt and beating Cena in his first main roster matchup and then eventually becoming world champion. KO is class and it made sense with the stunner on both of them

The rick boogz comment was a bit unwarranted like, "I can't imagine he loves doing this" doesn't work for me when the guy was a wrestler all through highschool and has worked tirelessly to make it to the WWE mainstage. He's always been into wrestling and thrashing on guitar, imo legit could have been the next biggest star if it wasn't for his injury in the match.

An interview with Drew McIntyre would be awesome. His story is very interesting, being in the WWE then being released, came back to be the first Person from Scotland & Britain to be WWE champion beating Brock Lesnar. From having depression & constantly binge drinking to being one of the biggest stars in modern wrestling.

I remember watching wwe when I was younger when drew first came onto the scene, he didn’t really have a gimmick or any hype around him, after a many years of being a jobber he had that angle with heath slater and jinder mahal as 3MB which was utterly terrible, so glad he was able to move away from the company and find his character, looks like such an animal nowadays

The guy is seriously impressive and you can't help but be impressed. Everything he turns his hand too turns to gold. Every now and then comes along someone who's just happens to be amazingly talented at everything they try. His self confidence is scary. The guy is completely focused and keeps himself in amazing shape. Credit where credit is due.

From a wrestling fan, Logan is 100% the best celebrity wrestler there has ever been in WWE. He has actually put in the time to learn the graps and you can see he passionate about it. Well done Logan!
Edit: No doubt bad bunny was impressive but there are a few factors that edge to Logan for me:
1. To turn from heel to face in a night and win over the crowd showed a lot more character than bad bunny
2. The Canadian destroyer was cool but it is overrated when you consider the one taking the move has to do all the work by propelling themselves.
3. Personal preference but Logan sold for the mysterios and demonstrated that the professional wrestlers were better than him, showing respect for them and grounding the match.
4. Logan performed to a lot more people live than bad bunny did, which is much harder to do because of the pressure.
Overall both were great though!

Brian I love you but Logan and Stone Cold would have stunk. Kevin Owens is an actual accomplished wrestler which is what Stone Cold needed. Logan and Stone Cold would have been a match where the participants had been in the ring 0 times in 20 years
Logan would unintentionally take the shine off Stone Cold’s return, Logan’s match is it’s own moment and so is the return. Stone Cold needed a reliable star to cushion him through the match, and so did Logan - Also actual fans would never buy Logan in that role, they would genuinely hate him and the feud rather than going along with it.
Logan has crazy good heel energy, and as I watch him, I find myself wincing at the bumps... I actually think he has real talent.
Geordie you're wrong about this one my friend. Kevin Owens is one of the best wrestlers in the world. He's in incredible ring shape also. The reason Stone Cold came back and trusted him enough to have a semi match is because he's so good. Watch some of his stuff and I'm sure you'll agree.
Drew Mcintyre is indeed Scottish, agree with you Geordie Eddie was incredible, still in my top ten foavorite wrestlers, KO is a incredible talent, working with him was perfect as KO is safe and will protect Austin in the ring.
Agree with everything but apart from the viewpoint on Kevin Owens. He is actually one of the best talkers on the mic and one of the best in-ring performers.

P.S. As much as I agree that wrestlers today don't look as hard the 90s still had Michaels, Hart, Foley, etc that weren't exactly the biggest too

If I had to pick one it would be big E, a great representation of the current generation and especially with his most recent injury I think it would be a great interview and you’d get a lot out of him.

Never could get into the Paul Brothers but this did it for me, can't deny talent, he was made to be in a spotlight. Watching this was enjoyable and great commentary through the video as well.
Logan actually fought Rey Mysterio. That's insane. That guy is a legend and has been around forever. Was everyone's favorite wrestler as a kid.
I only ever watch the highlights these days, but fair play to Logan. Seems like he fully threw himself into the training to make sure he was doing everything safely and managed to execute everything well. Was very impressed with what he did

Safety is the number 1 thing they teach when getting into the wrestling scene. So something like protecting the neck and the head during bodyslams etc. are the bread and butter of training. Logan looked good honestly, he got it, if he were to appear again, I'd be glad, he could really fit in to some more storylines.

Wrestling used to be 60% theatre 40% fighting. This is the reason there were so many iconic characters, they were all great actors. Nowadays it seems like it's 90% fighting/athleticism and 10% theatre/personality, which is why the modern characters are nowhere near the old guys, and is also the reason they're constantly bringing back the old guys like undertaker etc
I think a great podcast would be Brock Lesnar if you could pull it off Geordie, you obviously have the wrestling background and UFC and could tie it all together in one interview and Brock is such a complex character that you don’t see a lot of interviews from but would love to see him on the True Geordie podcast one day. Dude, I love your channel. I popped HUGE when I saw you were interviewing Undertaker. I first saw him in 1990/1 when I was 8 or 9 years old. He has been my favourite dude ever since. His HOF ovation was absolutely incredible. Unreal.

I think professional wrestlers deserve alot more respect. People think its easy and it doesn't hurt and they aren't talented because its fake and people just completely undermine the sport, when in reality it's probably the hardest job you can do. I think the main thing was at 57 Steve Austin k ew he couldn't have a full on match by modern standards but he could have a full on brawl with someone and needed someone to take the majority of the big bumps and Kevin Owens is renowned for that. So all in all he was the natural choice. I also agree that Logan Paul did brilliantly, you can see that he trained hard and he showed the match proper respect. plus he was clever enough to embrace being a bad guy. usually the celebrities are always shown as good guys for fear of damaging their image and they always get booed out of the building, to go all in as a heel was tremendous.

I’m not sure wrestling has ever been about characters who look as if they could beat you in a fight. A best wrestlers of all time list would be completely disregarded if it didn’t include, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, etc. Many of these figures you wouldn’t regard as stereotypically intimidating.
Exceptions to every rule but the rule stands. 95% of the biggest stars in wrestling were big dudes in shape

Kevin Owens is one of the best workers in the industry. He made a name for himself as an independent guy and then understood the WWE machine. Plus Kevin Owens is one hell of a personality on the mic and is one fkn talented dude in the ring.
Wwe is great and gaining it's respect again from the masses pretty cool to see, and no Logan can't beat up all the guys lol some have martial arts and boxing wins and awards

Great watch mate. I think we must’ve grew up in the same era. I’m born in 92. I loved wwe growing up too and fell back in love with it around 2011. Kevin Owens is actually a star bro! He went under the name Kevin steen before he signed with wwe and he was already a star on the Indy circuit, hes a pretty big deal. Also I don’t think wwe would trust Logan Paul to deliver a safe singles match. A tag match is always the best way to go with a celeb as they’re on the sideline for a chunk of the match. I think Logan is definitely a star in the making. I hope he has a proper run with the company!!

Kevin Owens is awesome a very athletic worker and the one of the best cutting promos. He also cut a perfect heel promo to big up Austin in the weeks leading up and on the night of Wrestlemania.
