It would be true insanity if Nate does to khamzat what he did to Conor in their first fight. Imagine that despite everything stacked up against him he defeats the dragon and rides off into the sunset.

Conor is 5.9 and weighed 168 pounds against Nate. Khamzat is 6.2 and walks around at 211 pounds before cutting weight. Nate vs RDA, Henderson and Rory was amongst the worst matchups for Nate and Khamzat is better than them. Would be extremely surprised if Nate somehow got the job done...

He wanted a killer, he got a killer. He dug his won grave and Chimaev is going to bury him in it. The fact its 5 rounds only helps Nate here btw, in a world where he is competitive and doesnt get poleaxed in 2 minutes, its late in rounds 4 and 5 when his durability and cardio might let him take over. If Chimaev gets going hes going to end it inside round 1, so far the dude has only shown one speed and its most likley too much for Nate.

A big fight is Conor, Tony, Dustin and Jorge who are a lot closer to his age and not a complete wrecking ball monster just entering his prime years at 28 years old. He didn't want this fight, he verbally turned it down more than once. The UFC kept refusing to book him with anyone else and he's on a time limit with his contract. Nate has to fight within the next six months of his contract or it will be extended for another year and he will have to fight within that time and wait out the entirety of 2023 if the contract becomes extended by him not fighting. He's been cornered into this fight if he wants released in January of 2023*. These contracts are not as cut and dry as people may think. If Nate fights in September like scheduled to do right now, he still won't be able to negotiate with other promotions until the six months run out but he HAS to take it if he wants out of the promotion. Khamzat isn't a money fight, he's earned under 500k with the promotion. lol Yes, he has the hype and fans support behind him right now, but this isn't some massive pay because of Khamzat when Nate is going to earn way more. lol

Nate has royalities for the PPV buys and this is the one way for Dana to send of Nate with zero money from his sacrificial fight. I agree 100% with your rant... but for some odd reason, I still wonder... can he maybe, possibly, infantesimally pull out a win with some kind of 5th round rally (like he did against Edwards) and knock Hamzat out when he is exhausted and not capable of trading punches or wresting anymore? We've seen Hamzat get very cocky and stand toe to toe with Gilbert when he didn't need to fight that way. Nate is great at making people angry and middle finger them and taunt them into fire fights. I just don't think he's physically there enough to go to the ground with khamzat in 2022 and khamzat is a big guy for 170. The other side of the story:
UFC has kept Diaz active and on the roster when other fighters would've been cut. Diaz has lost 12 fights out of 22 going back to 2009 and has made millions over that span; you won't find another fighter in the history of UFC who has made as much as Nate has in the UFC with that many losses.
As far as your accusing Dana of "calling Nate a bum", he's just saying that Nate has had a good career but he's past his prime and not on Usmans or Khamzat level, exactly what you're implying at 8:08.
Lastly, Diaz is truly one of those guys who says he'll fight anyone anytime and really mean it - he doesn't want a ceremonial final fight with an old fighter with no buzz because he wants a bigger payday that a Khamzat fight would bring.

Are you really Daniel Cormier posing as someone else? Hehe
Do you think Dana makes decisions on win loss record or revenue gained ?
If you think a promoter would get rid of a cash cow just because the cows a little old then I suggest you are very naive
You don’t cut someone who has an army of people willing to pay to see him fight
That’s why he’s never been cut
The ufc didn’t do him a favor it was mutual
And as for your final comment
If you really honored a fighter who has brought your organization tremendous revenue
You could schedule your guy to fight chuck liddell in a wheelchair and
Still give your guy a proper payday
      Because it’s your organization
      No, Dana doesn’t like Nate
      Anyone who starts out saying
      I like this person but…
      Doesn’t like that person
This is bolstered by the bashing.
Dana’s tell is very old and consistent
He doesn’t have good things to say about anyone who doesn’t do what he wants.
He has the power to have Nate go out in any manner that he fancies
He just chose to be a di Ck and send Nate out this way

Great. I agree. But this doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a nightmare to deal with from a contract and scheduling perspective and the dude is a walking entitlement. He believe he should be fighting champions. I like Nate, but it’s time for him to move on. Respectfully.
