This is the most brutal series I've ever seen, especially on this level. Only Protoss players can truly enjoy this many Terran & Zerg annihilating each other.

16:45 amazing solar skillz, moving and splitting MARINES(changelings) in order to make him think its his so he engage in fight.... he follows the splits clem does in the same time he moved his zerglings amazing . . !!!!!
It's so disgusting how Zerg can just lose units like 5 to 1 and still win each game by just face rolling ling/banes into enemy, just A-moving them forward then retreating, rinse repeat
Clem relies wayyy too much on MMM. He needs to add siege tanks in positions against mass ling/baneling/hydra. There's just no other way... one fungal you basically lose the game.
When Serral builds infestors not even Serral knows where they end up coming from. When Solar builds them they are right there on the fr... and they're dead.
Never commented on one of your videos winter, but i wanted to let you know i love your content, you make me smile and chuckle even after a rough day, keep on making that great content my friend.
Now, I dont play SC2 - but i really enjoy these games from Mr WinterStarcraft... BUT, when you have a heavy dominated player like Solar who plays on the defensive... why dont you as CLEM take a more aggressive 3rd and 4th so you can fall back into bases that have minerals instead of being starved out most games... FOR EXAMPLE - map solaris game 3 - why didnt clem go after 12 instead of maybe 5 and save the 2 right next to natural and secondary for later in the game - easier to defend no?
While a lot of players hate the terran bio, I just find it way too dumb for the zerg to just expand way too fast and just gulp so much minerals while fielding a stupidly high amount of units into the fray. To me, terran bio is just the only viable way to deal with the meta problem, meaning you _have_ to be aggressive to prevent the other 2 races from snowballing your ass to hell and high due to how slow their production is, especially with mech units.
This series shows why terran players don't build ravens. Or, perhaps more accurately, shows why if zerg players had an easily spammable scan that only costed mineral income, they would use it instead of the overseer.
I’m just a sc2 viewer not a player, but it seems like there’s no good answer to ghosts for Zerg. They’re value engines with being able to snipe at high value units, they’re hard to get at properly due to range and cloak, they’re tanky-ish against banes (and get quickly healed up by medivacs), and their EMP shuts down attempts to deal with them via spellcasters. Is there some downside I’m not seeing?
They have small hitbox so they tend to group when moving so they are vulnerable to splash damage. Also they are mineral and gas expensive and slow enought to depend on a medevacs to scape. They are not simple units to control. But yes, they are a bit overpowered vs zerg compared to the protos match.
No you’re right. Theoretically ghosts can be countered if they are only ghosts, but mixed in with other units and controlled properly they counter all Zerg 2nd tier and 3rd tier units. Technically there may be a chance to have multiple chain fungals with perfect baneling timings, but even the best pros can’t pull it off consistently.
Remember the powre of the Terran light. When you ahvea zerg buddy and you are terran with ten orbitals... You cna spam 10-14 scans over a base, and not see where the army is or the nydus is, during those times, and if you have about 20-30 scans available, you cna keep that place blindingly white for over 30 seconds, lol... Do the light do the terran.
Okay, I've watched more Clem then just about any other pro not named Reynor since I came back. Clem Marine play is so strong man, but I can't help but feel like that strong play sometimes gets him into hot water. I'm not saying it isn't effective because quite frankly he's the second to fourth best player in the world in my eyes on any given day. What am I saying is I notice these times where he leans a little heavy on his marines without a pivot sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love watching his all out aggression plays with Med Evacs and Marines. I really do. I just feel like a few players have adapted to him and can outlast him when he leans on his Marine plays. Maybe not all the time, but it does seem to be a rather effective way to shut Clem down sometimes.
The thing is there's no unit to rush for Terran that would win you the game if your opponent has no answer for it. Unlike Zerg for example, if they get to ultras and you're stuck on biomine, goodbye. That's probably why, especially given the marines costs, is probably a good decision to use them as long as you can.
9100/4550 hydra verse ghosts 38 5700/4750 = I think the hydras are a much better option than ghosts... So where do we think Solar went wrong? lings.. 23, 400 on lings alone. How were the lings used were they effective. TErran Scv == 6250 Zerg Drone == 1850 F2 isn't realyl a great option and he should of had, atleast 14 mor einfestors built during that game and some brood lords, and about 18 more queens. Over building of lings. Which becomes a money pit, Lings in the late game, become much better at hit and runs adn starving out your opponent. I alWAYS THINK a spire is typicalyl my top priorty to have and haev stabalized because it gives options, and if I am forced to build corruptors... for defensive purposes, IE against the Libartors, immediately do a greater spire... Brood lords are so effective for helping retreating armies, and they are good replacement for mass lings, because of their constant broodlings getting in teh way so tehy can buffer your range units a bit, switching into roaches is not a bad idea if there are not a lot of hell bats or tanks on teh field... I think too many vipers.. Infestors and brood lords are combo wombo, of effectively nullifying your opponenets movement in many ways, adn hte slow from fungal forces and allows broodlings to encircle and further cause problems allowing you to stutter back in, as much as peopel might hate hydralisks, the 91 investment is pretty small, could of easily build 100 more... If you wantto effectively use f2 during a rush its okay, to help rally points, isnce you probably don't have defence. However later in teh game you shouldn't f2 move / a move your army. f2 is a great selector, meaning if you build calssified groups you can, not sure on sc2 atm, but you can shift clikc usually the unit type all out of the f2 command and htus onyl have those units selected, leaving all your infestors around the map and or ultra and queen defence, queens by default are not f2... But a mid game liek 5 base expansion, for all races, here is a great way to use f2... I call the multi prong assualt. so you zealots lings or marines. you can essentailyl have your main army joisting back and forth, while making mini armies on the flanks.. you make them out of range.... obviously... and once their all in position... you hit f2 and a move to the main base back corner, and all those groups will now move at once, typically hitting hte outside bases, it saves on apm and is not as effective as microing... as the priorty management for attack takes palce and players ahve no way to change that. A professional setup is and can be a row of commands, if you have vision, you can Attack move or right click into all the workers in a row and split up the party to two lings or a zealot per worker, and hten put 4-8 lings on the base and 4 zealots on the base... and you manage that all at teh same time, you do a shift click move or patrol end path patrol move out to attack move after teh intial patrol is done, gives you a few seconds this gives yo ua more deliberate adn surgical flank attack all at once liek the f2. of course withte f2 one, yo ucna go to each location and manage, specific targets or retreat... more often you don't retreat and make them die in those places... So. I didn't watch the whole game but listened and looked atteh stats, its an over use of lings, and not enough asset diversity in the skill sets of other creatures available for zer,g Clem used everything.... COrruptors would of made liberators attack useless... and corruptors are great at doing building damage... THE most effective way to deal with terran is go places where tehy are little or not and then hammer their production buidlings whiel taking equal or better trades... as fast as possible. Every barracks they rebuild is or factory adn addon, addongs specifically sometimes, its a ghost and 3 marines you don't have to fight... So a supply depot is two less marines. I also saw ineffective use of bannelings chasing into a zone that didn't make sense to me... Most things in the game are cheap... and solar didnt' realyl create enough choas to tax teh terrans apm.... massl ings are great if you can jsut get them everywhere, but adrenal glands, and having abour 10-15 lings, in 3-5 groups of them... is a small expeditionary force with the means ot dislodge buildings and mines, whilst your better equiped forces are about hitting hard, brood lords hit like a truck, I always feared them when Iwas younger playing them.. super anmoying because you would have ot retreat sometiems not able to get close neough to them because hte broodlings would force you to move around.... Solars parasitic bombs were great, but corruptors are jsut better, and give you options while vipers have way better skills to pull in and destroy specific targets, like ghosts, tanks, liberators sometimes, and can emit clouds that give your lings a good advantage against terran... but I would late game not engage with lings in that mode, brood lords yes and use hte broodlings as a defensive measure with other support... and the lings hsould with adrenal punish lightly or udnefended areas.... A good exmaple from another game is playing witha buddy that is a bit slower, I was getting angry he was feeding the enemy and allwoing them to come in and mine his lumber... I kept mentioning it but he never stopped... them. SO I made (aoe2) 30 palldins.. then, did the whole shield position (defensive stance - so they aggro and chase within a set radius in an area) then click them to a cpu problem area with my map, shift click five out of hte army, then a move the next shift click five out, and did that until I had my pallies going ot al lteh enemies aggressive rss collection. About... 10 seconds or less to do... while I maintain my focus o nthe main battles. Whe nI finally go back to seeing what happened they killed vilalgers and were working on the last of hte mills in teh area and routed out the enemy. This can be done in sc2... for like burrowing and making extra commands at once... in many palces.. its kind of coool ot watch, cause if yoru fast enough, every stays in formation until it gets to a path break... and goes off.. So meh.. Solar is much better, but Zerg priortty shoudl aways have spire... SPire equals zerg is god... Not so much early game, but definately dependent at what your opponenet is doing ,but Zerg air is so great at punishing low units... and broods hp can be healed so easily with queens... which makes them sustainable... resource... of reducingand reusing... Meh end rant
if banelings didn't exist Clem would have a chance at being the GOAT but you know...terran's arm has to fall off to be able to compete....let's be honest for once...the only reason they nerf 'serrall' is because they don't want to delete Banelings...yet Dark and Solar..actually pretty much all the zerg players somehow seem to always survive the nerfs as well...somehow...I wonder why...oh yeah...because the baneling still exists.
The reason Bronze league doesn't lose more than fifty Overseers in a season is because they don't make them. When a bronze leaguer needs vision, they simply leave the game.
Every Clem game i see makes me more and more sure he's a gimmick player who relies on widow mines to do everything for him. For shame, wish Byun could trade hands with him
@@cavemantero Yeah exactly. They take 3 actions and can kill ten times over their cost in units. There is no cost or attention efficient way to deal with widow mines. The worst designed unit in the game. Just because they aren't 'reliable' doesn't mean they aren't Blizzard's worst idea
This is the most brutal series I've ever seen, especially on this level. Only Protoss players can truly enjoy this many Terran & Zerg annihilating each other.
Hey Artanis, want some popcorn? … Oh,wait…
next sc2 fan patch when?
Can we call it the most brutal series OF THE YEAR, though?
Don't worry, we do.
We do enjoy it, until we realize once again no toss will win a major tournament again
Terran vs Zerg is like old time alien vs human war movie
One of the original titles of this video before he settled on the current one was "Clem plays ZvT like Starship Troopers", I liked that one
and like Starship Troopers it was the psychic capable soldiers that tip the tides in favor of the Terrans. DO YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER!? HURRAH
This is the most lore accurate tvz.
I thought these were documentaries…😊
Many Overseers died to give us this match...
Winter, you do make my day a little bit better (especially when Clem is on)

Amazing intense TvZ games. A treat for the fans.
Solar: map control says I've got it in the bag.
Clem: lemme check your math there.
see, by subtracting all the minerals you have subtracted yourself
Solar really living up to being SC2's best punching bag here, damn~
My favorite of the SC2 punching bags is still Showtime lol

you're the goat mate, best entertainer of the twitch game by far
It's so disgusting how Zerg can just lose units like 5 to 1 and still win each game by just face rolling ling/banes into enemy, just A-moving them forward then retreating, rinse repeat
to be fair zerg produce the most units out of any race so its kinda of just how
First game was like a whole match.
remember back when it took 45 minutes to mine and lose that much resources? they were fighting for the last mining base at 26 minutes
Clem relies wayyy too much on MMM. He needs to add siege tanks in positions against mass ling/baneling/hydra. There's just no other way... one fungal you basically lose the game.
I'd honestly love to see you cast the most professional game of big game hunters that you can get hold of!
Ghosts are so so incredibly strong, almost op if you ask me
When Serral builds infestors not even Serral knows where they end up coming from.
When Solar builds them they are right there on the fr... and they're dead.

That was a masterpiece of a tournament. I'm in awe of the sheer skill.
that clem GG is a testament to how fast he process things.
Why doesn't Zerg just Neural Parasite a Raven for detection??? It's so simple!
that's the go to pro response, but a ghost sniped it the second it hatched from a previous map. rip.

I feel like Solar kinda rage-quit that first game. He was not out of that game. I'm not sure why he refused to build any air.
I'd love to see larger map 400 supply would be cool to see how the meta would shift.
Most insane tempo i have ever seen, no stop action for 1.5 hours ^_^

I’m just a sc2 viewer not a player, but it seems like there’s no good answer to ghosts for Zerg. They’re value engines with being able to snipe at high value units, they’re hard to get at properly due to range and cloak, they’re tanky-ish against banes (and get quickly healed up by medivacs), and their EMP shuts down attempts to deal with them via spellcasters. Is there some downside I’m not seeing?
Expensive, susceptible to fungal, and emp can be turned against themselves via neural. Mostly, they’re expensive.
They have small hitbox so they tend to group when moving so they are vulnerable to splash damage. Also they are mineral and gas expensive and slow enought to depend on a medevacs to scape. They are not simple units to control. But yes, they are a bit overpowered vs zerg compared to the protos match.

Technically there may be a chance to have multiple chain fungals with perfect baneling timings, but even the best pros can’t pull it off consistently.
Solar putting The Swarm to shame ;P
Why is the thumbnail a red zerg rush if Solar is playing blue on all games???
Solar's like Serral, but a lower level Serral.
It's not insane unless it has insanity. Or Meomaika. Have you casted Meomaika?
Why do all pro Zerg players not turn on overlord creep pooping? It costs nothing once a lair is built.
Because they do? But they're not going to send all overlords to the front to lose them 😂
Solar can be seen using it at 50:10
Pro Terran should just use Hellion Marine and Medica. Also Bunkers instead of losing so many Marines

Solar had some kind of failure on his PC. They didn't reset the match, so, was Solar mistake?
Why doesn’t Clem build more tanks?
