Well, as a Zerg, people have been saying that same thing about Serral for years. “It’s not Zerg, is Serral” was our answer. However Zerg got nerfs as a result. Banelings, infestors, broodlords are way less powerful now. Terran is getting surface nerfs (ghost supply nerf is not enough) and side buffs (old cyclone, immortal nerf, ultra speed nerf).
Because rogue played way worse than clem the entire game after the early zergling attacks, just look at the units lost tab before ghosts ever got into a fight. throwing banelings into marauders, forgetting adrenal glands while staying on ling bane hydra on hive tech, making 20 overseers while hes still at 150 supply. getting an early advantage doesnt mean you automatically win if you cant kill your opponent.

Zerg thrives on overwhelming despite cost ineffectiveness - by smashing through and doing huge amounts of instant damage, and then having enough reinforcements or left-over army to finish off what's left. But you CANNOT be losing a bunch of Lurkers for free like at 19:50 (for example, there were multiple moments) by being mispositioned without detection.

It’s not about casters per say but rather the low acceleration and 2.62 speed that makes it hard for BC’s to respond to harass and base defense and/or shifty fronts at this level. Can’t buff them either or every TvZ would instantly devolve into a base trade. They almost push that already at their current strength if not for abduct/neural, because BC’s trade extremely well offensively as is.
Why do Zergs even try that optimistic creep-tumor vs Clem? Surely it must be better to just wait a little bit, place it when it's safer, not to mention place it on the ramp to get more creep & vision of the base?
Are 7 minute hives the standard now? Rogue was consistently getting fast hive tech and Clem didn't appear to have the ability to stop it, even on a pretty conservative three base with 2/2 starting after the hive does. Have to give Clem credit, he's pretty ridiculous in the late game, Rogue was firing on all cylinders (except for the Ultras, Idra's wisdom prevails).

I think Snipe shouldn't work on burrowed units. Terran has plenty of answers to Lurkers (Libs, Banshees, Tanks, Yamato, Thor, Nuke) and Ultras (Libs, Marauders, Thors, Banshees, Mines) methinks. The "ghost counters every single zerg unit bigger than a zergling" dynamic is stupid.
Thors will get shredded by Lurkers, Banshees are made of paper and can easily get killed by Hydralisks, Yamato has a minute-long cooldown and is attached to a unit, that not only costs as much, as 2 Lurkers, but also can get abducted, mind-controlled, or killed by aforementioned Hydralisks. BC's also take a very long time to build, and are blocking the queue for Medivacs, Liberators and Vikings (should the Zerg go for Brood Lords). Nukes are only zoning tools, no pro will ever get hit by them, unless they're very unlucky. Banshees are useless vs Ultralisks, they deal damage too slowly and cost too much. Mines won't target the same unit unless ordered to and you need 5 to kill one Ultralisk, they also are on a longer cooldown, than Ultralisk build time. Also, if Steady Targeting didn't work on burrowed units, the counter would be to just burrow your units as soon, as you see the line, completely invalidating the ability. I agree, that Ghosts are overpowered, but unfortunately, heavily nerfing them would require other things to be heavily buffed. StarCraft basically painted itself into a corner with Ghosts, Queens and Warp Gates.
The “this counters that” argument always neglects unit compositions. I would argue that based on zergs ability to switch compositions between remaxes, that the other races need a unit like the ghost which is good against everything Zerg has. The proposed balance adjustment is to make it so you have 2/3 as many ghosts in your endgame composition, so it’ll be like 15 or less ghosts instead of 20+
Sc2 is running on an "old system", not any upgrab since years to make it work properly with recent hardware, so even if you run sc2 with a 10000€ 2024 computer you can still have problems with an overwhelming number of units.
Rogue actually could of won if he stayed in game 1 even with all those horrible engagements and being massively behind on upgrades for most the mid-late game

Rogue totally catches Clem off guard by going for them, he uses these fragile and expensive units as skillfully as possible while Clem plays uncharacteristically poorly (letting multiple groups of marines die to banes without retreating or splitting, playing entirely defensively instead of dropping Rogue at all), and the result is just a SLIGHT lead as he transitions into a build based around better units (ultras).
The siege tank marine bait combo is just stupid. No other race has the same engagement/disengagement benefit. You barely ever lose a unit and kill enemy units. What other SC2 dynamic allows that? Can you tap and leave like that with any other race? Engagements can cost nothing for a Terran and no other race can engage and it cost nothing.
In the new Canada you don't leave the door open anymore, you make sure you leave your keys + fob by the door so dem boys don't come to your bedroom at night looking for them. 🤣

@@cowmath77 You can whine all you want but if you look at the data it shows that TvZ has roughly a 50% win rate. Terran advantages are easy to complain about, but if they're so good why does Terran not have a dominant win rate over zerg?
@ because every sub 40 APM player and their mother plays Terran. Show me median stats, not averages.
