Forcing Dark to do military service should be listed as a warcrime. Like the greatest fighter aces of WW2, he should be kept back in reserve, in order to bolster the morale of the people.

Cost-effective is the long game, effective is the short game. If I lose 2x as many resources as your army and main are worth, but I wipe out your army and destroy your main, I'm probably happy with that trade.
Just like AlphaGo figuring out that winning by a single point is enough, or Italian soccer teams shutting down the game after 1-0. No need to optimize numbers that don't count towards victory.
I want to mention when I say best series, I mean FULL series, not just one highlight game. Both players play a TRUE best of 7, feels like they are playing each other directly more than Terran vs Zerg. The mindgames and emotional damage are absolutely real. IF you don't have the time for the entire match (it's worth it but still) I at least recommend the last two games especially - spoiler free timestamp below: 47:15 for some absolutely cinematic games thanks for watching, you're breathtaking

I found your channel and now I've been watching again every day, that's because of your color commentary and personality. If you want to add more technicality that is fine but keep in mind there are plenty of technical players/streamers but there are far fewer who figure out how to make it entertaining.
Damn, this is the Maru I came to know and love. Aside from the famous YoloToss players, he really is the guy who plays his opponents rather then the game. He might not be the mechanical god that Clem is but he for sure is a strategic mastermind

The masterful muta bait & switch in game 1, Maru's proxy mindgames in game 2, Dark's decisive timings, Maru sniping ZERGLINGS in game 6... already so good
Baiting him with the Spire to produce Marines and then going Roaches was a nice move. His reconnaissance before 8:55 could've been better and his targeting with the Ravagers was bad. But a nice first game.

Heavy tank line wit ha forward marine to utlize taht 13 range, and 5 range of marines... gives a 7 range difference meaning the tanks can be out of bile, if the marines have to retreat, you unsiege, by the time the biles can fire they can drive forward and ahve incredible dps and throw in a two scvs to repair, its a force ot be reckoned with
Now we can cite Game 5 whenever Zerg's cope at Terrans and Protoss for spamming Marines and Zealots. 100 Zerglings in Maru's base and an army at the front still able to stop Maru's from counter pushing despite taking a massive Macro loss in all his queens for larvae injecting. Sure, Zerg is fine.
So I don't understand a meme I see sometimes on Winters board. There is the Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow and I get the joke about Terrans have no courage and Protoss have no brain but what does the Zerg has no heart mean? I also will keep mentioning this until Hard Lead is no longer a map but I love the implication that Terran need a mech version of a Ghost because they need to have TWO pure playstyles, Bio and Mech, and Ghosts are needed for Mech but are obviously not a mech unit. So Terran scientests are hard at work making a Thor that has cloaking and casts spells. Probably codenamed "Loki". :P I will say it's abilities are: 1. Cloak: Obviously. 2. EMP Field: Creates a field at the target area that drains energy and shields. 3. Tactical Strike: Long range, targets enemy unit dealing heavy damage after a short cast time and does a small amount of AoE, extra damage vs psionic. Just need to bring back the Pre-Alpha version of the Thor, The Odin, that has to be built by an SCV and you can only have one but can launch nukes on a cooldown and does the channeled Barrage and we can have the whole family on the field! And Terran will finally stand a chance against those other nasty races because CLEARLY Terran is weak and needs more units and buffs. I know we have to wait for 46 new versions of the Cyclone but one can only hope that they will hire another intern for Starcraft 2...
Terran and Protos need more units so that they have the variety of Zerg that has an overpowered unit for any time of the game, like ravagers, mutas, lurkers, and infestors. And Zerg is the only race that can burrow all ground units.
I appreciate your explanation on why stim makes automatic rifles fire faster. Can you now explain why combat shield increases marine health in a way that is healed by medivacs and is reduced by stim? Isn't it just a shield they carry?
