I'm old to the party. And I agree, strange commercials. I much more love Harstem's comment "... What is this? Group sex for idiots..." When finding his own drones doing nothing for at a minimum of two minutes 😂😂😂😂
Harstem validated my point - Terrans don't react to the game. They're units are good enough that they don't have to. They just build from their plan at the timings they plan on, doesn't matter how the game plays out. Zerg has to build the right unit in every situation or lose. Occasionally can play with mutas or swarm hosts and occasionally still win. It's mostly for fun.
To be honest that's not really because Terran units are strong and more because of how Terran production works. Terran production is by far the most static and requires a large mineral and gas investment long before it pays off. With how the Terrans have to build and plan their production they get the most out of having firmer build order. All races benefit from firm build orders but Protoss and especially Zerg are much more flexible with what units they switch to building and when. Zergs do have a harder time responding to mid game timing pushes and do have to respond with the right unit but Zerg is also the only race that can immediately build the counter in mass from hatcheries. This is why it so important for other races to be aware of Zerg buildings like the spire. While they have to adapt the hardest to mid game pressure, queens basically beat anything early, they are crazy versatile, before 5:30-6:30 minutes they have the easiest time responding. The answer is basically build more queens. With all this said Terran units are crazy strong, especially units like the ghost. I really think it's not in having a proper reactions but just that Terran end game death balls are just too difficult to fight unless you're Serral. Also Zergs scouting tools honestly just suck. If you didn't scout something in the first 3 minute then you probably won't see what's happening until Terrans hit creep. Really makes you feel like you have to adapt fast because it's so hard to tell what's going on. I know this is long and I get the frustration with Terran, I've lost a ton too timing attack to what feels like unkillable marines or losing a bunch of drones to a mine drop but they actually are reacting to the game, you just don't see it until a minute or two after so it just feels like a build order. If you feel like your opponent is just ignoring what you are doing and you are struggling to respond you probably need a couple more queens, that works wonders for me. If its still a problem should check to see if your queens are in the right spots(just split them between hatcheries instead of having 10 in one spot).
@@andrewcasey-wagemaker426 This is too long to read the whole thing, but if it goes where I think it goes, you're just all wrong. Terran is static because the other races aren't good enough to push them into having to build counters.
