Good video at showing the right things to do when changing these belts. Made the job way easier. Thanks!!
Just bought an integra, got it home and the alternator belt snapped, your video is a life saver!
I’m glad this helped you out!
doing the belts on my 96 integra tomorrow, will definitely becoming back to this video!
edit: new belts installed! this video came in very handy. made me jealous because almost all the bolts on mine are rusted to shit lmao
Audibly gasped lookin at the engine bay. Super clean man!
This is literally the best video of this I can find. Thank you!
Awesome! Glad that it is able to help
This is too accurate. I’ve searched for about 12 hours and finally stumbled on this masterpiece. There’s not a single video that’s done as well as this one…absolutely incredible work.
I got the 95 integra and just so y’all don’t have to go through the same headache I did, if you get the 30 in ac belt you can’t use the idler/tension pulley you have to remove it.
Just had the same sorta issue with my 98 rs, came to the comments and saw this (thankfully)
Dude this video dead @ss saved me my belt broke last night and I didn’t know how to replace any of it thank you 🙏 got a broken lil DA5 🥲
You can still go counterclockwise to rotate the alternator back on.
The way I do it is put the alternator belt on the crankshaft pulley then get the belt to slide next to the from on the left side of the alternator and once the belt is caught on the lip of the alternator pulley that’s when you turn the crank counterclockwise from below one hand guiding the belt with your hand or a pry and the other hand turning the crank counterclockwise.Usually if you have the belt on the left side of the alternator pulley lip then it would guide the belt without you using anything but the crank itself.
But it does help
The alternator belt is the hardest belt to replace the other ones are a piece of cake
Awesome bro I appreciated that video am learning how to work on these cars my son just got a Acura Thank you
Just did this on a 2001 Integra LS and it was easy peasy. Thanks! 200k more miles to go!
Thanks for the excellent video! I have a 98 ITR that didn't have AC. I just installed a full AC system from another 1998 and I just need to install the belt and get the AC system charged.
Idler pulley went out on my integra so this video will be very helpful
Man you make it look so easy bro, gotta change my alternator belt with myself
Those are easy. You got it
Yeah it was easy plus I changed alternator is well, I saved ton of money by doing it myself & watching UA-cam vids
Awesome video likes how well you explained it, straight to the point. Thanks alot.
So I didn't see you mention going back and tightening up the AC tensioner Pulley that you loosened with the 12mm. Do you lift it back up an tighten it down after you slide the belt off? I'm about to tackle ALL the belts, timing included, just wanna make sure I get shit dialed back properly. Thanks for your video, I will be following it 100%!
After you set the tension with a 8mm or 9/32nds socket, then tighten down the 12mm
Hope it helps you out. You got this!
@@MooreProjects much appreciated! It just seemed like such a drop from old belt to new belt I'm like wait, how did he get that Pulley up an tight haha. Thanks man, I'm actually a small Motors mechanic by trade, but just hate opening up my precious GsR. I'm the second owner and I've had it since 2007 an she's in insanely great condition. I did my wife's timing belt/water pump on the MDX 12 straight hours of wrenching so I think it's given me the jitters with doing mine lol. Thanks again, great video and content.
Thank you very much for your video GOD bless you today I did that work on my 2001 Acura Integra Thank you very much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice video man! I just wanted to make sure I knew how to do it right before I jump right into it lol
Just the video I was looking for. Thanks man 👍
Good luck!
Great video, made me understand my teggy better.
Great video going to attempt on my 92 Integra tmw.
Great video, I just finished this job. For anybody else, my A/C tensioner bolt is 14mm for my 1997 gs. Also, where did you get your purple hardware for the bumper?
eBay. 10 pack from China for like $5. Search for dress up bolts

Great video man !!!
Where can I get a bolt that holds on that balancer that’s connected to the alternator it’s keeps coming out from under my car
love it, it helps us❤️❤️❤️
👌💯
Thank you for video 👍
Awesome video thanks 😊
What size bolt is that tensioner on the power steering? I've been looking for one for a very long time.
M8x1.25 and I would get one 60mm long
At 9:25, it is a 7mm to adjust.
nice tutorial bro!!!
Thanks a ton man!!
Hope it was helpful
Thank you 🙏
No problem hope it helps
I have a 1995 my alternator works but isn’t connected because my harmonic balancer Keeps falling underneath the car while driving and I lost the bolt that holds it in the motor where could I get one
Junkyard or the dealership
Just got the bolt from dealer for 29.99
Love this thx bro
Glad it’s helpful
What’s he belt sizes
Pretty much the same for a 91 DA9 right?
Yeah for the most part
@@MooreProjects thanks for the vid, smooth process!
Nice 👍🏿
Thank you
My alternator belt just will not go on. This thing seems way too small it's a 310 one.
You might have something not allowing the alternator to slide far enough forward to slip it on. If not I’m not sure why the 310 belt isn’t fitting yours. What year Integra and engine do you have?
Having the same problem
@@MooreProjects i have a 96 acura integra with a b18b1
@@MarioGonzalez-pp4lc might be a difference in length for the b18c1 and the b18b1
@@MooreProjects well im almost done. Im not a professional mechanic but i took off the top bracket connected to the engine and that gave me just enough space to work with the belt and somehow some way im almost done
Great vid?
Likeakidagain thank you buddy
