One of them was while they were in the recoding booth the sample that you heard suddenly started playing on its own on loop. Many have commented on the lyrics: "I am a world before I am a man..." We are all made of the earth and stars. The matter that makes up all things are within us and so we will return into those things spiritually through the "conscience/soul" ascending and our bodies break down eventually, no matter what back into first the earth then the stars. "I was a creature before I could stand" meaning both literally a primate into a child then a fully conscious upright walking human.

Haha these reactions are awesome. Makes me appreciate slipknot all over again! You guys did great! Corey Taylor is an amazing song writer and one of the best vocalist of all time.
This was the time when like KISS, nobody knew what Slipknot looked like. It was a total mystery to Fans. The video for this tune showed them in rehearsal playing without masks but you never saw their faces.
Banger ! 🤘
Yes!!! Too many great things to say about Corey and Slipknot. They're phenomenal.
The song you remember back in guitar hero days
Many have commented on the lyrics: "I am a world before I am a man..."
We are all made of the earth and stars.
